1 A nd he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

Después el ángel me mostró un río de agua de vida, resplandeciente como cristal, que salía del trono de Dios y del Cordero,

2 i n the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

en medio de la calle de la ciudad. Y a cada lado del río estaba el árbol de la vida, que produce doce clases de fruto, dando su fruto cada mes; y las hojas del árbol eran para sanidad de las naciones.

3 A nd there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him;

Ya no habrá más maldición. El trono de Dios y del Cordero estará allí, y Sus siervos Le servirán.

4 a nd they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.

Ellos verán Su rostro y Su nombre estará en sus frentes.

5 A nd there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Y ya no habrá más noche, y no tendrán necesidad de luz de lámpara ni de luz del sol, porque el Señor Dios los iluminará, y reinarán por los siglos de los siglos. La Venida de Cristo

6 A nd he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.

Y me dijo: “Estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas.” El Señor, el Dios de los espíritus de los profetas, envió a Su ángel para mostrar a Sus siervos las cosas que han de suceder enseguida.

7 A nd behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.

“Por tanto, Yo vengo pronto. Bienaventurado el que guarda las palabras de la profecía de este libro.”

8 A nd I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.

Yo, Juan, soy el que oyó y vio estas cosas. Y cuando oí y vi, me postré para adorar a los pies del ángel que me mostró estas cosas.

9 A nd he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God.

Y me dijo: “No hagas eso. Yo soy consiervo tuyo y de tus hermanos los profetas y de los que guardan las palabras de este libro. Adora a Dios.”

10 A nd he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.

También me dijo: “No selles las palabras de la profecía de este libro, porque el tiempo está cerca.

11 H e that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.

Que el injusto siga haciendo injusticias, que el impuro siga siendo impuro, que el justo siga practicando la justicia, y que el que es santo siga guardándose santo.”

12 B ehold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.

“Por tanto, Yo vengo pronto, y Mi recompensa está conmigo para recompensar a cada uno según sea su obra.

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el Primero y el Ultimo, el Principio y el Fin.”

14 B lessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

Bienaventurados los que lavan sus vestiduras para tener derecho al árbol de la vida y para entrar por las puertas a la ciudad.

15 W ithout are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.

Afuera están los perros, los hechiceros, los inmorales, los asesinos, los idólatras, y todo el que ama y practica la mentira. Testimonio Final

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.

“Yo, Jesús, he enviado a Mi ángel a fin de darles a ustedes testimonio de estas cosas para las iglesias. Yo soy la raíz y la descendencia de David, el lucero resplandeciente de la mañana.” Invitación Final

17 A nd the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.

El Espíritu y la esposa dicen: “Ven.” Y el que oye, diga: “Ven.” Y el que tiene sed, venga; y el que desee, que tome gratuitamente del agua de la vida. Advertencia Final

18 I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:

Yo testifico a todos los que oyen las palabras de la profecía de este libro: si alguien añade a ellas, Dios traerá sobre él las plagas que están escritas en este libro.

19 a nd if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

Y si alguien quita de las palabras del libro de esta profecía, Dios quitará su parte del árbol de la vida y de la ciudad santa descritos en este libro. Oración Final

20 H e who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.

El que testifica de estas cosas dice: “Sí, vengo pronto.” Amén. Ven, Señor Jesús.

21 T he grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen.

La gracia del Señor Jesús sea con todos. Amén.
