1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

Господ каза още на Моисей:

2 S peak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am Jehovah your God.

Кажи на израелтяните: Аз съм Йехова, вашият Бог.

3 A fter the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their statutes.

Да не правите, както правят в Египетската земя, където сте живели, и да не правите, както правят в Ханаанската земя, в която Аз ви завеждам; и да не ходите според техните наредби.

4 M ine ordinances shall ye do, and my statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am Jehovah your God.

А Моите закони да спазвате и Моите наредби да пазите и да изпълнявате. Аз съм Йехова, вашият Бог.

5 Y e shall therefore keep my statutes, and mine ordinances; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Jehovah.

Затова пазете наредбите Ми и законите Ми, чрез които, ако човек прави това, ще живее. Аз съм Йехова.

6 N one of you shall approach to any that are near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am Jehovah.

Никой да не се приближи до някоя своя кръвна роднина, за да открие голотата ѝ. Аз съм Йехова.

7 T he nakedness of thy father, even the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

Голотата на баща си, т. е. голотата на майка си, да не откриеш; тя ти е майка; да не откриеш голотата ѝ.

8 T he nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

Голотата на бащината си жена да не откриеш; тя е голотата на баща ти.

9 T he nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

Голотата на сестра си, бащината ти дъщеря или майчината ти дъщеря, родена у дома или родена вън - голотата на такива да не откриеш.

10 T he nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.

Голотата на дъщеря на сина ти или на дъщеря на дъщеря ти - тяхната голота да не откриеш; защото тяхната голота е твоя.

11 T he nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

Голотата на дъщерята на бащината ти жена, родена от баща ти (сестра ти е) - нейната голота да не откриеш.

12 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.

Голотата на бащината си сестра да не откриеш; тя е близка роднина на баща ти.

13 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.

Голотата на майчината си сестра да не откриеш, защото тя е близка роднина на майка ти.

14 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.

Голотата на бащиния си брат да не откриеш, т. е. към жена му да не се приближиш; тя ти е стрина.

15 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

Голотата на снаха си да не откриеш; жена е на сина ти; нейната голота да не откриеш.

16 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.

Голотата на жената на брат си да не откриеш; тя е голотата на брат ти.

17 T hou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; thou shalt not take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; they are near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

Голотата на жена и на дъщеря ѝ да не откриеш, нито да вземеш дъщерята на сина ѝ или дъщеря на дъщеря ѝ, за да откриеш голотата ѝ; те са нейни близки роднини; това е нечестие.

18 A nd thou shalt not take a wife to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, besides the other in her life-time.

И да не вземеш жена заедно със сестра ѝ, докато е жива другата, за да откриеш голотата ѝ, така че да ѝ стане съперница.

19 A nd thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.

При жена, когато е отделена поради нечистотата си, да не приближиш да откриеш голотата ѝ.

20 A nd thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her.

И с жената на ближния си да не лягаш, за да се оскверниш с нея.

21 A nd thou shalt not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech; neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.

Да не принасяш в жертва децата си на Молох; нито да оскверниш името на своя Бог. Аз съм Йехова.

22 T hou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

С мъж да не лягаш като с жена; това е гнусота.

23 A nd thou shalt not lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

И с никое животно да не се съвъкупиш, за да се оскверниш с него, нито жена да застане пред животно, за да се съвъкупи с него; това е сквернота.

24 D efile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you;

Не се осквернявайте нито с едно от тези неща, защото с такива неща се оскверниха народите, които Аз прогонвам пред вас.

25 A nd the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out her inhabitants.

Оскверни се и земята; затова въздавам върху нея беззаконието ѝ и земята избълва жителите си.

26 Y e therefore shall keep my statutes and mine ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourneth among you;

И така, вие пазете наредбите Ми и законите Ми и не правете нито една от тези гнусоти - нито местен, нито заселен между вас пришълец

27 ( for all these abominations have the men of the land done, that were before you, and the land is defiled);

(защото всички тези гнусоти вършеха хората, които са били преди вас на тази земя, и земята се оскверни),

28 t hat the land vomit not you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

за да не избълва и вас земята, когато я осквернявате, както избълва населението, което беше преди вас.

29 F or whosoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.

Защото всеки, който върши която и да е от тези гнусоти - човеците, които ги вършат, ще бъдат изтребени измежду народа си.

30 T herefore shall ye keep my charge, that ye practise not any of these abominable customs, which were practised before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Jehovah your God.

И така, пазете заръките Ми и не вършете никой от тези гнусни обичаи, които са се вършили преди вас, за да не се оскверните в тях. Аз съм Йехова, вашият Бог.
