1 T o the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks:

2 I know thy works, and thy toil and patience, and that thou canst not bear evil men, and didst try them that call themselves apostles, and they are not, and didst find them false;

Зная твоите дела, труда и търпението ти и че не можеш да търпиш лошите човеци и си изпитал онези, които наричат себе си апостоли (а не са), и си ги разкрил като лъжливи;

3 a nd thou hast patience and didst bear for my name's sake, and hast not grown weary.

и имаш търпение и за Моето име си издържал, и не си се уморил.

4 B ut I have this against thee, that thou didst leave thy first love.

Но имам това против тебе, че си оставил първата си любов.

5 R emember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I come to thee, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou repent.

И така, спомни си откъде си паднал и се покай, и върши първите си дела; и ако не, ще дойда при тебе скоро и ще вдигна светилника ти от мястото му, ако не се покаеш.

6 B ut this thou hast, that thou hatest the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Но имаш това добро, че мразиш делата на николаитите, които и Аз мразя.

7 H e that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.

Който има ухо, нека слуша какво говори Духът към църквите: На този, който победи, ще дам да яде от дървото на живота, което е сред Божия рай. До църквата в Смирна

8 A nd to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These things saith the first and the last, who was dead, and lived again:

До ангела на смирненската църква пиши: Това казва Първият и Последният, Който бе мъртъв и оживя:

9 I know thy tribulation, and thy poverty (but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and they art not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

Зная твоите дела, твоята скръб и сиромашия (но пак си богат), и как те клеветят онези, които наричат себе си юдеи, а не са, но са синагога на Сатана.

10 F ear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.

Не бой се от това, от което скоро ще пострадаш. Ето, дяволът скоро ще хвърли някои от вас в тъмница, за да бъдете изпитани, и ще имате скръб десет дни. Бъди верен до смърт и Аз ще ти дам венеца на живота.

11 H e that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Който има ухо, нека слуша какво говори Духът към църквите: Който победи, няма да бъде поразен от втората смърт. До църквата в Пергам

12 a nd to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These things saith he that hath the sharp two-edged sword:

До ангела на пергамската църква пиши: Това казва Този, Който има двуострия меч:

13 I know where thou dwellest, even where Satan's throne is; and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth.

Зная къде живееш - там, където е престолът на Сатана; и държиш здраво името Ми и не си се отрекъл от вярата в Мене, даже в дните на Моя верен свидетел Антипа, когото убиха сред вас, където живее Сатана.

14 B ut I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there some that hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.

Но имам малко нещо против тебе, защото имаш там някои, които държат учението на Валаам, който учеше Валак да постави съблазън пред израелтяните, за да ядат идоложертвено и да блудстват.

15 S o hast thou also some that hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans in like manner.

Така също имаш и ти някои, които държат, подобно на тях, учението на николаитите.

16 R epent therefore; or else I come to thee quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.

И така, покай се; и ако не, ще дойда при тебе скоро и ще воювам против тях с меча, който излиза от устата Ми.

17 H e that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knoweth but he that receiveth it.

Който има ухо, нека слуша какво говори Духът към църквите: На този, който победи, ще дам от скритата манна; ще му дам и бяло камъче и на камъчето - написано ново име, което никой не знае освен онзи, който го получава. До църквата в Тиатир

18 A nd to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like unto burnished brass:

До ангела на тиатирската църква пиши: Това казва Божият Син, Който има очи като огнен пламък и Чиито нозе приличат на лъскава мед:

19 I know thy works, and thy love and faith and ministry and patience, and that thy last works are more than the first.

Зная твоите дела и любовта, вярата, служението и търпението ти, и че последните ти дела са повече от първите.

20 B ut I have this against thee, that thou sufferest the woman Jezebel, who calleth herself a prophetess; and she teacheth and seduceth my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.

Но имам против тебе това, че търпиш жената Йезавел, която нарича себе си пророчица и която учи и подмамва Моите слуги да блудстват и да ядат идоложертвено.

21 A nd I gave her time that she should repent; and she willeth not to repent of her fornication.

И дадох ѝ време да се покае, но не иска да се покае от блудството си.

22 B ehold, I cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works.

Ето, Аз скоро ще я тръшна на болнично легло; и ще потопя в голяма скръб онези, които прелюбодействат с нея, ако не се покаят за нейните дела заедно с тях.

23 A nd I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto each one of you according to your works.

И децата ѝ ще погубя с мор. И всички църкви ще познаят, че Аз съм, Който изпитвам вътрешности и сърца, и ще въздам на всеки от вас според делата му.

24 B ut to you I say, to the rest that are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, who know not the deep things of Satan, as they are wont to say; I cast upon you none other burden.

А на вас, останалите в Тиатир, които не държат това учение и които не са познали сатанинските дълбини (както те ги наричат), казвам: Няма да наложа на вас друг товар;

25 N evertheless that which ye have, hold fast till I come.

но дръжте онова, което имате, докато дойда.

26 A nd he that overcometh, and he that keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give authority over the nations:

И на този, който победи и който се пази докрай, за да върши дела, чисти като Моите, ще дам власт над народите

27 a nd he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to shivers; as I also have received of my Father:

(и той "... ще ги управлява с желязна тояга; те ще се строшат като грънчарски съдове"), както и Аз получих от Своя Отец.

28 a nd I will give him the morning star.

И ще му дам зорницата.
