1 A wake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Събуди се, събуди се, облечи силата си, Сионе; облечи великолепните си дрехи, Йерусалиме, святи граде, защото отсега нататък няма да влезе в тебе необрязан и нечист.

2 S hake thyself from the dust; arise, sit on thy throne, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Отърси от себе си пръстта; стани, заробен Йерусалиме! Освободи се от връзките по шията ти, пленена дъще Сионова!

3 F or thus saith Jehovah, Ye were sold for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

Защото така казва Господ: Продадохте се за нищо; и ще бъдете изкупени без пари.

4 F or thus saith the Lord Jehovah, My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there: and the Assyrian hath oppressed them without cause.

Защото така казва Господ Йехова: Народът Ми слезе първо в Египет, за да поживее там; после и асирийците го угнетяваха без причина.

5 N ow therefore, what do I here, saith Jehovah, seeing that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them do howl, saith Jehovah, and my name continually all the day is blasphemed.

И така, сега какво да правя тук, казва Господ, тъй като народът Ми бе взет за нищо? Владеещите над него вият, казва Господ, и името Ми непрестанно е хулено всеки ден.

6 T herefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak; behold, it is I.

Затова народът Ми ще познае Моето име; затова ще познае в онзи ден, че Аз съм, Който говоря - ето, Аз.

7 H ow beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace, that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Колко са прекрасни върху планините краката на онзи, който благовества, който проповядва мир! Който благовества добро, който проповядва спасение! Който казва на Сион: Твоят Бог царува!

8 T he voice of thy watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah returneth to Zion.

Ето гласа на стражите ти! Издигат гласа си, всички възклицават; защото ще видят ясно с очите си как Господ се връща в Сион.

9 B reak forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

Възкликнете, запейте заедно, запустели йерусалимски места; защото Господ утеши народа Си, изкупи Йерусалим.

10 J ehovah hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Господ запретна святата Си мишца пред всички народи; и всички земни краища ще видят спасението от нашия Бог.

11 D epart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; cleanse yourselves, ye that bear the vessels of Jehovah.

Оттеглете се, оттеглете се, излезте оттам. Не се допирай до нечисто; излезте изсред него; очистете се, вие, които носите съдовете Господни;

12 F or ye shall not go out in haste, neither shall ye go by flight: for Jehovah will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rearward.

защото няма да излезете набързо, нито ще пътувате бегом, защото Господ ще върви пред вас и Израелевият Бог ще ви бъде задна стража. Страданията и славата на Месия, Божия Слуга

13 B ehold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.

Ето, Слугата Ми ще благоуспее, ще се извиси и издигне, и ще се възнесе високо.

14 L ike as many were astonished at thee (his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),

Както мнозина се чудеха на тебе (толкова беше погрозняло лицето му, повече от лицето на който и да е бил човек, и образът му - от образа на който и да е от човешките синове),

15 s o shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand.

така той ще удиви много народи; царете ще затворят устата си пред него, защото ще видят онова, за което не им е било говорено, и ще разберат това, което не са чули.
