1 T hese things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be caused to stumble.

Това ви казах, за да не се съблазните.

2 T hey shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you shall think that he offereth service unto God.

Ще ви отлъчат от синагогите; даже настава час, когато всеки, който ви убие, ще мисли, че принася служба на Бога.

3 A nd these things will they do, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

И това ще направят, защото не са познали нито Отца, нито Мене.

4 B ut these things have I spoken unto you, that when their hour is come, ye may remember them, how that I told you. And these things I said not unto you from the beginning, because I was with you.

Но Аз ви казах тези неща, та когато дойде часът им, да помните, че съм ви ги казал. Отначало не ви ги казах, защото бях с вас;

5 B ut now I go unto him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

а сега отивам при Онзи, Който Ме е пратил; и никой от вас не Ме пита: Къде отиваш?

6 B ut because I have spoken these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

Но понеже ви казах това, скръб изпълни сърцата ви.

7 N evertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.

Обаче Аз ви казвам истината - за вас е по-добре Аз да отида, защото ако не отида, Утешителят няма да дойде при вас; но ако отида, ще ви Го изпратя.

8 A nd he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

И когато дойде, Той ще обвини света за грях, за правда и за съд;

9 o f sin, because they believe not on me;

за грях, защото не вярват в Мене;

10 o f righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more;

за правда, защото отивам при Отца и няма вече да Ме виждате;

11 o f judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged.

а за съд, защото князът на този свят е осъден.

12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

Имам още много неща да ви кажа, но не можете да ги понесете сега.

13 H owbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.

А когато дойде Онзи, Духът на истината, ще ви упътва към всяка истина; защото няма да говори от Себе Си, но каквото чуе, това ще говори, и ще ви извести за идващите неща.

14 H e shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you.

Той Мене ще прослави, защото от Моето ще взема и ще ви известява.

15 A ll things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he taketh of mine, and shall declare it unto you.

Всичко, което има Отец, е Мое; затова казах, че от Моето като взема, ще ви известява. Скръбта ще се обърне в радост

16 A little while, and ye behold me no more; and again a little while, and ye shall see me.

Още малко време и няма да Ме виждате; и пак малко време - и ще Ме видите.

17 S ome of his disciples therefore said one to another, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye behold me not; and again a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

Тогава някои от учениците Му си казаха един на друг: Какво е това, което ни казва: Още малко време и няма да Ме виждате; и пак малко време - и ще Ме видите; и това е, защото отивам при Отца.

18 T hey said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? We know not what he saith.

И казаха: Какво е това, което казва: Още малко време ? Не знаем какво иска да каже.

19 J esus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me?

Исус, като разбра, че желаят да Го питат, им каза: Затова ли се питате помежду си, че казах: Още малко време и няма да Ме виждате; и пак малко време - и ще Ме видите?

20 V erily, verily, I say unto you, that ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

Истина, истина ви казвам, че вие ще заплачете и ще заридаете, а светът ще се радва; вие ще скърбите, но скръбта ви ще се обърне на радост.

21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for the joy that a man is born into the world.

Жена, когато ражда, е в скръб, защото е дошъл часът ѝ; а когато роди детето, не помни вече мъките си поради радостта, че се е родил човек на света.

22 A nd ye therefore now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one taketh away from you.

Така и вие сега имате скръб; но Аз пак ще ви видя и сърцето ви ще се зарадва, и радостта ви никой няма да отнеме.

23 A nd in that day ye shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say unto you, if ye shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it you in my name.

И в онзи ден няма да Ме питате за нищо. Истина, истина ви казвам: Ако поискате нещо от Отца в Мое име, Той ще ви го даде.

24 H itherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be made full.

Досега нищо не сте искали в Мое име; искайте и ще получите, за да бъде радостта ви пълна. Исус Христос победи света

25 T hese things have I spoken unto you in dark sayings: the hour cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in dark sayings, but shall tell you plainly of the Father.

Това съм ви говорил с притчи. Настава час, когато няма вече да ви говоря с притчи, а ясно ще ви известя за Отца.

26 I n that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you;

В онзи ден ще попросите в Мое име; и не ви казвам, че Аз ще поискам от Отца за вас;

27 f or the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

защото сам Отец ви обича, понеже вие възлюбихте Мен и повярвахте, че Аз излязох от Отца.

28 I came out from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go unto the Father.

Излязох от Отца и дойдох на света; и пак напускам света и отивам при Отца.

29 H is disciples say, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no dark saying.

Учениците Му казаха: Ето, сега говориш ясно и никаква притча не казваш.

30 N ow know we that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

Сега сме уверени, че Ти всичко знаеш и няма нужда да Те пита някой, за да му отговаряш. По това вярваме, че си излязъл от Бога.

31 J esus answered them, Do ye now believe?

Исус им отговори: Сега ли вярвате?

32 B ehold, the hour cometh, yea, is come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

Ето, настава час, даже е дошъл, да се разпръснете всеки при своите си и да Ме оставите сам; обаче не съм сам, защото Отец е с Мене.

33 T hese things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Това ви казах, за да имате в Мене мир. В света имате скръб; но дерзайте: Аз победих света.
