1 A nd thou, son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah.

И ти, сине човешки, пророкувай към Израелевите планини, като кажеш: Израелеви планини, слушайте Господнето слово.

2 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession;

Така казва Господ Йехова: Понеже неприятелят каза против вас: О-хохо!, и: Древните височини станаха наше владение,

3 t herefore prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the nations, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;

затова, като пророкуваш, кажи: Така казва Господ Йехова: Понеже ви запустиха и погълнаха отвред, за да станете владение на другите народи и станахте предмет на говоренето на устни и на зли отзиви между народите,

4 t herefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about;

затова, Израелеви планини, слушайте словото на Господа Йехова. Така казва Господ Йехова на планините и хълмовете, на потоците и долините, на запустелите пустоти и напуснатите градове, които станаха плячка и са за присмех на другите народи около тях -

5 t herefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land unto themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.

затова казва Господ Йехова: Непременно в пламенната Си ревност говорих против другите народи и против целия Едом, които с всесърдечна радост и душевно презрение направиха Моята земя свое владение, за да я изхвърлят и разграбят;

6 T herefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because ye have borne the shame of the nations:

затова пророкувай за Израелевата земя и кажи на планините и хълмовете, на потоците и долините: Така казва Господ Йехова: Ето, Аз говорих в ревността Си и в яростта Си, понеже понесохте укор от народите;

7 t herefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I have sworn, saying, Surely the nations that are round about you, they shall bear their shame.

затова така казва Господ Йехова: Аз се заклех, че народите, които са около вас, непременно ще носят срама си.

8 B ut ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.

А вие, Израелеви планини, ще израстете клоните си; и ще давате плода си на народа Ми Израел; защото те скоро ще дойдат.

9 F or, behold, I am for you, and I will turn into you, and ye shall be tilled and sown;

Защото, ето, Аз съм за вас и ще се обърна към вас, и вие ще бъдете обработвани и засявани.

10 a nd I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded;

И ще заселя върху вас много хора, целия Израелев дом - да!, - целия; и градовете ще бъдат населени и запустелите места ще бъдат съградени.

11 a nd I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

Ще заселя върху вас много хора и животни, които ще се умножат и ще се наплодят; и ще ви населя, както бяхте преди, и ще ви сторя по-голямо добро, отколкото в началото; и ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

12 Y ea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children.

Да! Ще направя да ходят по вас хора, народът Ми Израел; те ще ви владеят и вие ще им бъдете наследство, и занапред няма да ги оставите без деца.

13 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because they say unto you, Thou land art a devourer of men, and hast been a bereaver of thy nation;

Така казва Господ Йехова: Понеже ви казват: Ти си земя, която поглъщаш хора и оставяш без деца народа си,

14 t herefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nation any more, saith the Lord Jehovah;

затова няма вече да поглъщаш хора, нито да оставяш вече без деца народа си, казва Господ Йехова;

15 n either will I let thee hear any more the shame of the nations, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nation to stumble any more, saith the Lord Jehovah.

и няма вече да допусна да понесеш укор от народите, нито ще носиш поругание от племената, и няма вече да направиш народа си да се препъва, казва Господ Йехова.

16 M oreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

При това Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

17 S on of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.

Сине човешки, когато Израелевият дом живееха в земята си, те я оскверниха с постъпките и делата си; техните постъпки бяха отвратителни пред Мене като нечистотата на отлъчена жена.

18 W herefore I poured out my wrath upon them for the blood which they had poured out upon the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols;

Затова излях яростта Си върху тях поради кръвта, която бяха пролели на земята, и поради идолите, с които я бяха омърсили;

19 a nd I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

разсях ги между народите и те бяха разпръснати по страните; според постъпките и делата им ги съдих.

20 A nd when they came unto the nations, whither they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, These are the people of Jehovah, and are gone forth out of his land.

А когато влязоха между народите, където отидоха, омърсиха Моето свято име, така че се говореше за тях: Тези са народът на Йехова и от земята Му излязоха.

21 B ut I had regard for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, whither they went.

Смилих се, обаче, за святото Си име, което Израелевият дом бяха омърсили между народите, при които отидоха.

22 T herefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I do not this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye went.

Затова кажи на Израелевия дом: Така казва Господ Йехова: Аз не правя това заради вас, доме Израелев, а заради Моето свято име, което омърсихте между народите, при които отидохте.

23 A nd I will sanctify my great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

Аз ще осветя великото Си име, което е било омърсено между народите, което вие омърсихте между тях; и народите ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ, казва Господ Йехова, когато се осветя у вас пред очите им.

24 F or I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Защото ще ви взема от народите и ще ви събера от всички страни, и ще ви доведа в земята ви.

25 A nd I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Тогава ще поръся върху вас чиста вода и ще се очистите; ще ви очистя от всичките ви нечистотии и от всичките ви идоли.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

Ще ви дам и ново сърце и нов дух ще вложа вътре у вас, и като отнема каменното сърце от плътта ви, ще ви дам меко сърце.

27 A nd I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep mine ordinances, and do them.

И ще вложа Духа Си вътре у вас и ще ви направя да постъпвате според наредбите Ми, да пазите законите Ми и да ги извършвате.

28 A nd ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Ще живеете в земята, която дадох на бащите ви; и вие ще Ми бъдете народ и Аз ще бъда ваш Бог.

29 A nd I will save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine upon you.

Ще ви спася от всичките ви нечистоти; и като призова житото, ще го умножа и няма вече да ви докарам глад.

30 A nd I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.

Ще умножа плода на дървото и рожбите на полето, за да не ви се присмиват вече народите затова, че гладувате.

31 T hen shall ye remember your evil ways, and your doings that were not good; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

Тогава, като си спомните нечестивите си постъпки и недобрите си дела, ще се отвратите сами от себе си пред очите си поради беззаконията и мерзостите си.

32 N or for your sake do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.

Не заради вас правя Аз това, казва Господ Йехова, нека ви бъде известно. Засрамете се и се смутете поради постъпките си, доме Израелев!

33 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded.

Така казва Господ Йехова: В деня, когато ви очистя от всичките ви беззакония, ще направя и да се населят градовете и запустелите места ще бъдат съградени.

34 A nd the land that was desolate shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all that passed by.

Опустошената земя ще бъде обработена, макар че е била пуста пред очите на всеки, който минаваше.

35 A nd they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.

И ще казват: Тази земя, която беше запустяла, стана като Едемската градина и запустелите, опустошените и разорените градове се укрепиха и населиха.

36 T hen the nations that are left round about you shall know that I, Jehovah, have builded the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, Jehovah, have spoken it, and I will do it.

Тогава народите, останали около вас, ще познаят, че Аз, Господ, съградих разореното и насадих запустялото. Аз, Господ, изговорих това и ще го извърша.

37 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: For this, moreover, will I be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.

Така казва Господ Йехова: При това Израелевият дом ще Ме потърси, за да им го сторя. Ще ги умножа с хора като стадо;

38 A s the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

както стадото за жертва, както стадото, което пълни Йерусалим по време на определените празници, така човешките стада ще пълнят запустелите градове; и ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ.
