1 T hou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it a city, even Jerusalem:

И ти, сине човешки, вземи си тухла, сложи я пред себе си и начертай на нея града Йерусалим.

2 a nd lay siege against it, and build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it; set camps also against it, and plant battering rams against it round about.

След това постави обсада против него, съгради укрепления против него и издигни могили против него; разположи още стан против него и постави стеноломи против него от всяка страна.

3 A nd take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face toward it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

Вземи си желязна плоча, сложи я като желязна стена между теб и града и насочи лицето си против него, и той ще бъде обсаден; и ти поставѝ обсада против него. Това ще бъде знамение за Израелевия дом.

4 M oreover lie thou upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it; according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity.

Тогава легни на лявата си страна и положи на нея беззаконието на Израелевия дом; колкото дни лежиш на нея, ще носиш беззаконието им.

5 F or I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be unto thee a number of days, even three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

Защото Аз определих годините на беззаконието им да ти бъдат съответно число дни - триста и деветдесет дни, така ще носиш беззаконието на Израелевия дом.

6 A nd again, when thou hast accomplished these, thou shalt lie on thy right side, and shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah: forty days, each day for a year, have I appointed it unto thee.

След като навършиш тези, тогава легни на дясната си страна и носи беззаконието на Юдовия дом четиридесет дни; по един ден ти определих за всяка година.

7 A nd thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with thine arm uncovered; and thou shalt prophesy against it.

И насочи лицето си към обсадата на Йерусалим, с гола мишца, и пророкувай против него.

8 A nd, behold, I lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to the other, till thou hast accomplished the days of thy siege.

Тогава ще сложа на тебе връзки и няма да се обърнеш от едната си страна на другата, докато не навършиш дните, през които ще го обсаждаш.

9 T ake thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof; according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, even three hundred and ninety days, shalt thou eat thereof.

Вземи си и пшеница, и ечемик, боб и леща, просо и бяло жито, и като ги сложиш в един съд, направи си от тях хлябове; и колкото дни лежиш на страната си, триста и деветдесет дни, яж от тях.

10 A nd thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.

А храната, която ще ядеш, да бъде с теглилка, двадесет сикъла на ден; от време на време да ядеш от тях.

11 A nd thou shalt drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.

Също и вода с мярка да пиеш, по една шеста от ин на ден; от време на време да пиеш.

12 A nd thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it in their sight with dung that cometh out of man.

Да ги ядеш като ечемичени пити и да ги печеш с човешки нечистотии пред очите им.

13 A nd Jehovah said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations whither I will drive them.

И Господ каза: Така израелтяните ще ядат хляба си омърсен между народите, където ще ги изгоня.

14 T hen said I, Ah Lord Jehovah! behold, my soul hath not been polluted; for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

Тогава аз казах: Ах! Господи Йехова, ето, душата ми не се е омърсила; понеже от младостта си досега не съм ял мърша или разкъсано от звяр, нито някога е влязло в устата ми мръсно месо.

15 T hen he said unto me, See, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread thereon.

Тогава ми каза: Виж, давам ти говежди нечистотии вместо човешки нечистотии; с тях опечи хляба си.

16 M oreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with fearfulness; and they shall drink water by measure, and in dismay:

Каза ми още: Сине човешки, ето, Аз ще строша подпорката от хляба в Йерусалим; те ще ядат хляб с теглилка и икономично и смаяни ще пият вода с мярка.

17 t hat they may want bread and water, and be dismayed one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.

Това ще направя, за да се лишат от хляб и вода и да се гледат едни други смаяни, и да се изнурят в беззаконието си.
