Now this is the history of the descendants of Esau, that is, Edom.

2 И сав взял себе жен из Ханаана: Аду, дочь хетта Елона, Оливему, дочь Аны и внучку хиввея Цивеона,

Esau took his wives from the women of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah daughter of Anah, the son of Zibeon the Hivite,

3 а также Басемату, дочь Измаила, сестру Невайота.

And Basemath, Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebaioth.

4 А да родила Исаву Елифаза, Басемата родила Рагуила,

Adah bore to Esau, Eliphaz; Basemath bore Reuel;

5 О ливема родила Иеуша, Ялама и Кораха. Это сыновья Исава, рожденные ему в Ханаане.

And Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau born to him in Canaan.

6 И сав взял своих жен, сыновей, дочерей и всех домашних, взял стада, скот и все имущество, которое он приобрел в Ханаане, и перебрался в другую землю на некоторое расстояние от своего брата Иакова,

Now Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, his cattle, all his beasts, and all his possessions which he had obtained in the land of Canaan, and he went into a land away from his brother Jacob.

7 п отому что у них было слишком много добра, чтобы им оставаться вместе. У них было столько скота, что земля, где они жили пришельцами, не могла прокормить их обоих.

For their great flocks and herds and possessions made it impossible for them to dwell together; the land in which they were strangers could not support them because of their livestock.

8 Т ак Исав (он же Эдом) поселился в нагорьях Сеира.

So Esau dwelt in the hill country of Seir; Esau is Edom.

9 В от родословие Исава, отца эдомитян, жившего в нагорьях Сеира.

And this is the history of the descendants of Esau the father of the Edomites in the hill country of Seir.

10 В от имена сыновей Исава: Елифаз, сын Исава от его жены Ады, Рагуил, сын Исава от его жены Басематы.

These are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz, the son of Adah, Esau’s wife, and Reuel, the son of Basemath, Esau’s wife.

11 С ыновья Елифаза: Теман, Омар, Цефо, Гатам и Кеназ.

And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.

12 У сына Исава Елифаза была наложница по имени Тимна, которая родила ему Амалика. Это внуки Исавовой жены Ады.

And Timna was a concubine of Eliphaz, Esau’s son; and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Adah, Esau’s wife.

13 С ыновья Рагуила: Нахат, Зерах, Шамма и Миза. Это внуки Исавовой жены Басематы.

These are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These are the sons of Basemath, Esau’s wife.

14 С ыновья Исава от его жены Оливемы, дочери Аны и внучки Цивеона, которых она родила Исаву: Иеуш, Ялам и Корах.

And these are the sons of Oholibamah daughter of Anah, the son of Zibeon, Esau’s wife. She bore to Esau: Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

15 В от вожди среди потомков Исава. Сыновья Елифаза, первенца Исава: вожди Теман, Омар, Цефо, Кеназ,

These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau: The sons of Eliphaz the firstborn of Esau: Chiefs Teman, Omar, Zepho, Kenaz,

16 К орах, Гатам и Амалик. Это вожди, произошедшие от Елифаза в Эдоме; они были внуками Ады.

Korah, Gatam, and Amalek. These are the chiefs of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; they are the sons of Adah.

17 С ыновья Рагуила, Исавова сына: вожди Нахат, Зерах, Шамма и Миза. Это вожди, произошедшие от Рагуила в Эдоме; они были внуками Исавовой жены Басематы.

These are the sons of Reuel, Esau’s son: Chiefs Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah. These are the chiefs of Reuel in the land of Edom; they are the sons of Basemath, Esau’s wife.

18 С ыновья Исава от его жены Оливемы: вожди Иеуш, Ялам и Корах. Это вожди, произошедшие от Исавовой жены Оливемы, дочери Аны.

These are the sons of Oholibamah, Esau’s wife: Chiefs Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are the chiefs born of Oholibamah daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.

19 В от сыновья Исава (он же Эдом) и вот их вожди.

These are the sons of Esau, that is, Edom, and these are their chiefs.

20 В от сыновья Сеира хорреянина, жившие в той области: Лотан, Шовал, Цивеон, Ана,

These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

21 Д ишон, Ецер и Дишан. Эти сыновья Сеира в Эдоме были вождями хорреев.

Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs of the Horites, the sons of Seir in the land of Edom.

22 С ыновья Лотана: Хори и Гомам. Тимна была Лотановой сестрой.

The sons of Lotan are Hori and Hemam; and Lotan’s sister is Timna.

23 С ыновья Шовала: Алван, Манахат, Эвал, Шефо и Онам.

The sons of Shobal are these: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.

24 С ыновья Цивеона: Айя и Ана. Это тот Ана, который открыл в пустыне горячие ключи, когда пас ослов своего отца Цивеона.

These are the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is the Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness as he pastured the donkeys of Zibeon his father.

25 Д ети Аны: Дишон и Оливема, дочь Аны.

The children of Anah are these: Dishon and Oholibamah daughter of Anah.

26 С ыновья Дишона: Хемдан, Эшбан, Ифран и Херан.

These are the sons of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.

27 С ыновья Ецера: Билган, Зааван и Акан.

Ezer’s sons are these: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.

28 С ыновья Дишана: Уц и Аран.

The sons of Dishan are these: Uz and Aran.

29 В от вожди хорреев: Лотан, Шовал, Цивеон, Ана,

The Horite chiefs are these: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

30 Д ишон, Ецер и Дишан. Они были вождями хорреев по родам их в земле Сеир. Правители Эдома (1 Пар. 1: 43-54)

Dishon, Ezer, Dishan. These are the Horite chiefs, according to their clans, in the land of Seir.

And these are the kings who reigned in Edom before any king reigned over the Israelites:

32 Б ела, сын Беора, был царем в Эдоме. Его город назывался Дингава.

Bela son of Beor reigned in Edom. And the name of his city was Dinhabah.

33 К огда Бела умер, вместо него стал царем Иовав, сын Зераха из Боцры.

Now Bela died, and Jobab son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

34 К огда Иовав умер, вместо него стал царем Хушам из земли теманитян.

Then Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

35 К огда Хушам умер, вместо него стал царем Гадад, сын Бедада, который разбил мадианитян в Моаве. Его город назывался Авит.

And Husham died, and Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, reigned in his stead. The name of his city was Avith.

36 К огда Гадад умер, вместо него стал царем Самла из Масреки.

Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah succeeded him.

37 К огда Самла умер, вместо него стал царем Саул из Реховота, что у реки.

Then Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his stead.

38 К огда Саул умер, вместо него стал царем Баал-Ханан, сын Ахбора.

And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

39 К огда Баал-Ханан, сын Ахбора, умер, вместо него стал царем Гадад. Его город назывался Пау, а имя его жены было Мегетавеель; она была дочерью Матреды, внучкой Мезагава.

Baal-hanan son of Achbor died, and then Hadar reigned. His city was Pau; his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

40 В от имена вождей – потомков Исава, по их кланам и землям, поименно: Тимна, Алва, Иетет,

And these are the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families and places of residence, by their names: Chiefs Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,

41 О ливема, Эла, Пинон,

Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,

42 К еназ, Теман, Мивцар,

Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,

43 М агдиил и Ирам. Это вожди Эдома по их поселениям в земле, которой они владеют. Это был Исав – отец эдомитян.

Magdiel, and Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom, according to their dwelling places in their land.
