1 С лово Господа, которое было к Иеремии:

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:

2 – Выслушай условия этого завета и перескажи их народу Иудеи и жителям Иерусалима.

Hear the words of this covenant or solemn pledge, and speak to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

3 С кажи им: «Так говорит Господь, Бог Израиля: Проклят тот человек, который не исполняет условий этого завета,

Say to them, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Cursed is the man who does not heed the words of this covenant or solemn pledge

4 у словий, которые Я поставил вашим предкам, когда Я вывел их из Египта, из этого горна для плавки железа, сказав: “Слушайте Меня и делайте все, что Я вам велю, и вы будете Моим народом, а Я – вашим Богом.

Which I commanded your fathers at the time that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Listen to My voice and do according to all that I command you. So will you be My people, and I will be your God,

5 Т огда Я исполню клятву, данную вашим отцам, дать землю, где течет молоко и мед, землю, которая принадлежит вам и доныне”». И я ответил: – Аминь, Господи.

That I may perform the oath which I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then I answered, Amen (so be it), O Lord.

6 Г осподь сказал мне: – Провозгласи все эти слова в городах Иудеи и на улицах Иерусалима, говоря: Слушайте условия этого завета и исполняйте их.

And the Lord said to me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem: Hear the words of this covenant or solemn pledge and do them.

7 С того дня, как Я вывел ваших предков из Египта, и доныне, Я предостерегал их, говоря: «Слушайтесь Меня».

For I earnestly protested to and warned your fathers at the time that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even to this day, protesting to and warning them persistently, saying, Obey My voice.

8 Н о они не слушали и не внимали, а жили каждый по упрямству своего злого сердца. И Я обрушил на них все проклятия этого завета, который Я велел им исполнять, а они не исполняли.

Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but everyone walked in the stubbornness of his own evil heart. Therefore I brought upon them all the words of this covenant or solemn pledge, which I had commanded, but they did not do.

9 З атем Господь сказал мне: – Среди народа Иудеи и среди жителей Иерусалима возник заговор.

And the Lord said to me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

10 О ни вернулись к грехам своих предков, которые отказались слушаться Моих слов. Они следовали за другими богами, чтобы служить им. И дом Израиля, и дом Иуды расторгли завет, заключенный между Мной и их предками.

They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear My words; they have gone after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken My covenant or solemn pledge which I made with their fathers.

11 П оэтому так говорит Господь: – Я обрушу на них беду, которой они не смогут избежать. Они станут взывать ко Мне, но Я не буду их слушать.

Therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, I am bringing evil and calamity upon them which they will not be able to escape; though they cry to Me, I will not listen to them.

12 Г орода Иудеи и жители Иерусалима пойдут взывать к богам, которым возжигают благовония, но те нисколько не помогут им когда грянет беда.

Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods to whom they offer incense, but they cannot save them at all in the time of their evil trouble.

13 У тебя, Иудея, столько богов, сколько городов, и сколько улиц в Иерусалиме, столько вы наставили жертвенников для возжигания благовоний мерзкому богу Баалу.

For the number of your cities are your gods, O Judah; and the number of the streets of Jerusalem are the altars you have set up to the shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal.

14 А ты не молись за этот народ, не возноси за них ни прошения, ни молитвы, потому что Я не буду слушать, когда они станут взывать ко Мне в беде.

Therefore do not pray for this people or lift up a cry or prayer for them, for I will not listen when they cry out to Me in the time of their evil trouble.

15 – Какое право ты имеешь быть в Моем доме, Мой возлюбленный народ? Может ли мясо жертвенное удалить их? Даже делая зло, вы радуетесь!

What right has My beloved in My house when she has wrought lewdness and done treacherously many times? Can vows and the holy flesh remove from you your wickedness and avert your calamity? Can you by these rejoice exultantly?

16 Г осподь называл тебя, Иудея, зеленеющей маслиной, с плодами, прекрасными по форме, но с ревом могучей бури Он предаст ее пламени, и ветви ее будут сломаны.

The Lord called a green olive tree, fair and of good fruit; but with the roar of a great tempest He will set fire to it, and its branches will be consumed.

17 Г осподь Сил, насадивший тебя, наслал на тебя беду, потому что дом Израиля с домом Иуды делали зло и пробуждали Мой гнев, возжигая благовония Баалу. Заговор против Иеремии

For the Lord of hosts, Who planted you, has pronounced evil and calamity against you because of the evil which the house of Israel and the house of Judah have done against themselves in provoking Me to anger by offering incense to Baal.

18 Г осподь раскрыл мне их заговор, и я знал о нем; в то время Он показал мне, что они делали.

And the Lord gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it; then You showed me their doings.

19 А я был как доверчивый ягненок, которого ведут на бойню; я не понимал, что они замышляют против меня, говоря: «Уничтожим дерево вместе с плодом; срубим его чтобы имя его больше не вспоминалось среди живущих на земле».

But I was like a tame lamb that is brought to the slaughter; I did not know that they had devised inventions and schemes against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

20 Г осподь Сил, судящий праведно и испытывающий сердце и разум. Дай мне увидеть, как Ты отомстишь им, ведь я доверил свое дело Тебе.

But, O Lord of hosts, Who judges rightly and justly, Who tests the heart and the mind, let me see Your vengeance on them, for to You I have revealed and committed my cause.

21 П оэтому так говорит Господь о жителях Анатота, которые хотят отнять твою жизнь и говорят: «Не пророчествуй от Имени Господа, иначе мы своими руками убьем тебя».

Therefore thus says the Lord about the men of Anathoth, who seek your life and say, Prophesy not in the name of the Lord, that you die not by our hands—

22 Т ак говорит Господь Сил: – Я накажу их. Их юноши погибнут от меча, а их сыновья и дочери умрут от голода,

Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: Behold, I will punish them. Their young men will die by the sword, their sons and their daughters will die by famine;

23 и никто из них не уцелеет, потому что Я нашлю беду на жителей Анатота, когда придет год их наказания.

And there will be no remnant left, for I will bring evil and calamity upon the men of Anathoth in the year of their punishment.
