1 Г оре мне, горе! Я словно тот, кто после сбора летних плодов, после уборки винограда, не находит ни грозди, чтобы поесть, ни инжирины ранней зрелости, которой мне хочется.

Woe is me! For I am as when the summer fruits have been gathered, as when the vintage grapes have been gleaned and there is no cluster to eat, no first-ripe fig for which my appetite craves.

2 И счезли верные на земле; нет праведных среди людей. Все сидят в засаде, чтобы пролить кровь; все расставляют друг другу сети.

The godly man has perished from the earth, and there is none upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; each hunts his brother with a net.

3 Р уки их искусны творить зло; правитель подарков требует, судья принимает взятки, и сильные волю свою диктуют – так извращают они правосудие.

Both their hands are put forth and are upon what is evil to do it diligently; the prince and the judge ask for a bribe, and the great man utters his evil desire. Thus they twist between them.

4 Л учший из них – что терновник, самый праведный – хуже колючей изгороди. Наступает день, который предсказывали их стражи, день когда Он придет для наказания; ныне охватит их смятение.

The best of them is like a brier; the most upright or the straightest is like a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, even of judgment and your punishment, has come; now shall be their perplexity and confusion.

5 Н е полагайтесь на ближнего, не доверяйте другу. Даже с той, что лежит в твоих объятьях, будь осторожен в словах.

Trust not in a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Keep the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom.

6 С ын позорит отца, дочь восстает против матери, и невестка – против свекрови: врагами человека станут его домашние.

For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—a man’s enemies are the men (members) of his own house.

7 А что до меня, я буду взирать на Господа, ждать Бога спасения моего; Бог мой меня услышит. Возрождение Израиля

But as for me, I will look to the Lord and confident in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with hope and expectancy for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.

8 Н е ликуй надо мной, неприятель! Пусть упал я – встану опять. Пусть во мраке сижу – светом будет мне Господь.

Rejoice not against me, O my enemy! When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me.

9 Я согрешил перед Ним, потому я должен нести гнев Господень, пока Он не разрешит мое дело и не оправдает меня. Он меня выведет к свету; я увижу Его праведность.

I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my cause and executes judgment for me. He will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold His righteous deliverance.

10 У видит это неприятель и бесчестьем покроется; тот, кто мне говорил: «Где Господь, твой Бог?» Я своими глазами увижу его падение топтать его будут, словно грязь на улицах.

Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, Where is the Lord your God? My eyes will see my desire upon her; now she will be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

11 П ридет день отстроить твои стены, расширить твои границы.

In the day that your walls are to be built, in that day shall the boundary be far extended and the decree be far removed.

12 В тот день к тебе придут из Ассирии и из городов Египта, от Египта и до реки Евфрата, от моря и до моря, от горы и до горы.

In that day they will come to you from Assyria and from the cities of Matzor and from Egypt even to the river, from sea to sea and from mountain to mountain.

13 Н о земля подвергнется разорению из-за жителей и их злых дел. Молитва

Yet shall the earth be desolate because of those who dwell in it, for the fruit of their doings.

14 П аси Своим посохом народ Свой, отару наследия Твоего, что живет одиноко в зарослях, а вокруг плодородные пастбища. Пусть пасутся в Башане и Галааде, как в давно минувшие дни.

Rule and feed Your people with Your rod and scepter, the flock of Your inheritance who dwell alone in a forest in the midst of Carmel; they shall feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

15 – Как в те дни, когда ты вышел из Египта, Я покажу тебе Свои чудеса.

As in the days of your coming forth from the land of Egypt, I will show them marvelous things.

16 Н ароды увидят и устыдятся, при всей своей силе. Рукой они прикроют себе рот, уши их станут глухи.

The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might. They shall lay their hands upon their mouths in consternation; their ears shall be deaf.

17 О ни будут лизать пыль, как змея, как ползучие твари земные. Они выйдут, дрожа, из своих крепостей, обратятся в страхе к Господу, нашему Богу, и будут Тебя бояться.

They shall lick the dust like a serpent; like crawling things of the earth they shall come trembling out of their strongholds and close places. They shall turn and come with fear and dread to the Lord our God and shall be afraid and stand in awe because of You.

18 Е сть ли Бог, подобный Тебе, Кто отпускает грех и прощает беззаконие уцелевшим из наследия Твоего? Не вечно Он гневается, потому что миловать любит.

Who is a God like You, Who forgives iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retains not His anger forever, because He delights in mercy and loving-kindness.

19 О н опять будет к нам милосерден; Он растопчет наши грехи и все наши беззакония бросит в морскую бездну.

He will again have compassion on us; He will subdue and tread underfoot our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

20 Т ы будешь верен Иакову и помилуешь Авраама, как Ты и клялся нашим отцам в дни минувшие.

You will show Your faithfulness and perform the sure promise to Jacob and loving-kindness and mercy to Abraham, as You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
