1 В елик Господь и достоин всякой хвалы в городе нашего Бога, на Его святой горе.

Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised in the city of our God! His holy mountain,

2 В ысока она и прекрасна – радость всей земли, гора Сион на окраинах севера, это город великого Царя.

Fair and beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth— Mount Zion, to the northern side, the city of the Great King!

3 Б ог пребывает в ее дворцах, известен как твердыня.

God has made Himself known in her palaces as a Refuge (a High Tower and a Stronghold).

4 С обрались цари и вместе пошли войной,

For, behold, the kings assembled, they came onward and they passed away together.

5 н о увидев Сион, поразились; ужаснулись и обратились в бегство.

They looked, they were amazed; they were stricken with terror and took to flight.

6 О бъяла их дрожь, муки, как женщину в родах.

Trembling took hold of them there, and pain as of a woman in childbirth.

7 Т ы сокрушил их, как ветер с востока разбивает таршишские корабли.

With the east wind You shattered the ships of Tarshish.

8 Ч то мы слышали, то и увидели в городе Господа Сил, в городе нашего Бога: Бог хранит его нерушимым навеки. Пауза

As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it forever. Selah!

9 В храме Твоем, Боже, мы размышляли о Твоей милости.

We have thought of Your steadfast love, O God, in the midst of Your temple.

10 К ак Имя Твое, Боже, так и хвала Тебе достигает краев земли. Правая рука Твоя праведности полна.

As is Your name, O God, so is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness (rightness and justice).

11 Т оржествует гора Сион, и ликуют поселения Иудеи о Твоем правосудии.

Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of Your judgments!

12 П ройдите вокруг Сиона, обойдите его, башни его сосчитайте;

Walk about Zion, and go round about her, number her towers (her lofty and noble deeds of past days),

13 о братите мысли к его укреплениям, рассмотрите дворцы его, чтобы поколению грядущему рассказать.

Consider well her ramparts, go through her palaces and citadels, that you may tell the next generation.

14 В едь Бог – навеки наш Бог, Он будет нашим вождем на века.

For this God is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide until death.
