1 К огда Иисус спустился с горы, за Ним последовало множество людей.

When Jesus came down from the mountain, great throngs followed Him.

2 Т ут к Нему подошел человек, больной проказой, поклонился Ему и сказал: – Господи, если Ты захочешь, Ты можешь меня очистить.

And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me by curing me.

3 И исус протянул руку и прикоснулся к нему, сказав: – Хочу, очистись! В тот же миг человек исцелился от проказы.

And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed.

4 И исус тогда сказал ему: – Смотри, никому не говори об этом, но пойди, покажись священнику и принеси в жертву дар, как это повелел Моисей. Это будет твоим свидетельством для других. Вера офицера (Лк. 7: 1-10; Лк. 13: 28-29)

And Jesus said to him, See that you tell nothing about this to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, for a testimony and as an evidence to the people.

5 К огда Иисус пришел в Капернаум, к Нему подошел сотник и попросил о помощи.

As Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came up to Him, begging Him,

6 – Господин, – сказал он, – мой слуга лежит дома парализованный и ужасно мучается.

And saying, Lord, my servant boy is lying at the house paralyzed and distressed with intense pains.

7 И исус ответил ему: – Хорошо, Я приду и исцелю его.

And Jesus said to him, I will come and restore him.

8 С отник возразил Иисусу: – Господи, я не достоин, чтобы Ты вошел под крышу моего дома. Скажи только слово, и мой слуга выздоровеет.

But the centurion replied to Him, Lord, I am not worthy or fit to have You come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant boy will be cured.

9 В едь и сам я подчиняюсь приказам, и у меня в подчинении тоже есть воины. Я говорю одному: «Иди!», и он идет, другому: «Ко мне!», и тот приходит. Слуге моему говорю: «Сделай это!», и он делает.

For I also am a man subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it.

10 И исус, выслушав его, удивился и сказал тем, кто шел за Ним: – Говорю вам истину, что даже в Израиле Я не встречал такой сильной веры!

When Jesus heard him, He marveled and said to those who followed Him '> who adhered steadfastly to Him, conforming to His example in living and, if need be, in dying also], I tell you truly, I have not found so much faith as this with anyone, even in Israel.

11 Г оворю вам, что многие из других народов придут с востока и запада, займут свои места на пиру с Авраамом, Исааком и Иаковом в Небесном Царстве.

I tell you, many will come from east and west, and will sit at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,

12 С ыны же Царства будут выброшены вон, во тьму, где будет плач и скрежет зубов.

While the sons and heirs of the kingdom will be driven out into the darkness outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.

13 И Иисус сказал сотнику: – Иди! По твоей вере будет тебе. И в тот же час слуга выздоровел. Исцеления больных (Мк. 1: 29-34; Лк. 4: 38-41)

Then to the centurion Jesus said, Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed. And the servant boy was restored to health at that very moment.

14 П ридя в дом Петра, Иисус увидел, что его теща лежит в горячке.

And when Jesus went into Peter’s house, He saw his mother-in-law lying ill with a fever.

15 О н прикоснулся к ее руке, и жар оставил ее, она встала и начала накрывать для Него на стол.

He touched her hand and the fever left her; and she got up and began waiting on Him.

16 К огда же наступил вечер, к Иисусу привели много людей, одержимых демонами. Он изгнал духов словом и исцелил всех больных.

When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick.

17 Э то было исполнением слов пророка Исаии: «Он взял наши немощи и понес наши болезни». Будущие последователи Иисуса (Лк. 9: 57-60)

And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took '> in order to carry away] our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases.

18 К огда Иисус увидел, что вокруг Него собралась большая толпа, Он велел ученикам переправиться на другую сторону озера.

Now Jesus, when He saw the great throngs around Him, gave orders to cross to the other side.

19 Т ут к Нему подошел один из учителей Закона и сказал: – Учитель, я пойду за Тобой, куда бы Ты ни пошел.

And a scribe came up and said to Him, Master, I will accompany You wherever You go.

20 И исус ответил: – У лисиц есть норы, и у птиц небесных – гнезда, а Сыну Человеческому негде и голову приклонить.

And Jesus replied to him, Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have lodging places, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.

21 А другой человек, из Его учеников, сказал: – Господи, разреши мне прежде пойти и похоронить отца моего.

Another of the disciples said to Him, Lord, let me first go and bury '> care for till death] my father.

22 Н о Иисус ответил ему: – Следуй за Мной, пусть мертвые сами хоронят своих мертвецов. Иисус усмиряет шторм (Мк. 4: 36-41; Лк. 8: 22-25)

But Jesus said to him, Follow Me, and leave the dead '> in sin] to bury their own dead.

23 И исус вошел в лодку, и ученики сели вместе с Ним.

And after He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.

24 В незапно на озере поднялся такой сильный шторм, что лодку захлестывало волнами. А Иисус в это время спал.

And suddenly, behold, there arose a violent storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered up by the waves; but He was sleeping.

25 У ченики разбудили Его, говоря: – Господи, спаси нас! Мы гибнем!

And they went and awakened Him, saying, Lord, rescue and preserve us! We are perishing!

26 И исус ответил: – Маловеры, ну что вы испугались? Он встал, запретил ветру и волнам, и наступил полный штиль.

And He said to them, Why are you timid and afraid, O you of little faith? Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great and wonderful calm ( a perfect peaceableness).

27 У ченики удивленно спрашивали: – Кто же Он, что даже ветер и волны повинуются Ему? Иисус изгоняет демонов в стадо свиней (Мк. 5: 1-17; Лк. 8: 26-37)

And the men were stunned with bewildered wonder and marveled, saying, What kind of Man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!

28 К огда Иисус прибыл на другую сторону озера, в Гадаринскую землю, навстречу Ему из могильных пещер вышли два человека, одержимых демонами. Они были такие буйные, что никто не решался проходить той дорогой.

And when He arrived at the other side in the country of the Gadarenes, two men under the control of demons went to meet Him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce and savage that no one was able to pass that way.

29 – Что Ты от нас хочешь, Сын Божий? – закричали они. – Ты пришел мучить нас еще до назначенного срока?

And behold, they shrieked and screamed, What have You to do with us, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come to torment us before the appointed time?

30 Н еподалеку от них паслось большое стадо свиней.

Now at some distance from there a drove of many hogs was grazing.

31 Д емоны попросили Иисуса: – Если Ты нас выгонишь, то пошли нас в это стадо свиней.

And the demons begged Him, If You drive us out, send us into the drove of hogs.

32 И исус сказал им: – Идите! Выйдя из людей, демоны вошли в свиней. Все стадо бросилось с обрыва в озеро и погибло в воде.

And He said to them, Begone! So they came out and went into the hogs, and behold, the whole drove rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the water.

33 А свинопасы побежали в город и все рассказали, включая и то, что произошло с одержимыми.

The herdsmen fled and went into the town and reported everything, including what had happened to the men under the power of demons.

34 Т огда все жители города вышли навстречу Иисусу и, увидев Его, попросили покинуть их края.

And behold, the whole town went out to meet Jesus; and as soon as they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their locality.
