1 Б ог возглавляет великое собрание, среди богов произносит суд:

God stands in the assembly of God; in the midst of the magistrates or judges He gives judgment among the gods.

2 « Как долго еще вы будете судить несправедливо и оказывать предпочтение нечестивым? Пауза

How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah!

3 З ащищайте дело слабого и сироты, угнетенному и бедному явите справедливость.

Do justice to the weak (poor) and fatherless; maintain the rights of the afflicted and needy.

4 И збавляйте слабого и нищего, спасайте их от нечестивых.

Deliver the poor and needy; rescue them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 И х знание – ничто, их понимание бессмысленно. Они ходят во тьме. Содрогаются все основания земли.

know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in the darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaking.

6 Я сказал: “Вы – боги, все вы – сыны Всевышнего”

I said, You are gods; indeed, all of you are children of the Most High.

7 н о вы умрете, как все люди, и вы падете, как любой из властителей».

But you shall die as men and fall as one of the princes.

8 В осстань, Боже, и суди землю, потому что Ты наследуешь все народы!

Arise, O God, judge the earth! For to You belong all the nations.
