1 Т ам Иисуса обступили фарисеи и саддукеи, которые, желая испытать Его, просили, чтобы Он показал им знамение с неба.

Now the Pharisees and Sadducees came up to Jesus, and they asked Him to show them a sign (spectacular miracle) from heaven.

2 И исус ответил: – На закате, увидев, что небо красное, вы говорите: «Будет хорошая погода»,

He replied to them, When it is evening you say, It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,

3 а на рассвете, если небо заволокло багровыми тучами, вы говорите: «Будет буря». Вы знаете, что означают приметы неба, а истолковать знаков времени не можете.

And in the morning, It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and has a gloomy and threatening look. You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.

4 З лое и развратное поколение ищет знамения, но ему не будет дано никакого знамения, кроме знамения Ионы. И, оставив их, Иисус ушел. Иисус предостерегает от ложных учений (Мк. 8: 14-21)

A wicked and morally unfaithful generation craves a sign, but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. Then He left them and went away.

5 П ереправляясь на другую сторону озера, ученики забыли взять с собой хлеба.

When the disciples reached the other side of the sea, they found that they had forgotten to bring any bread.

6 И исус же сказал им: – Смотрите, берегитесь закваски фарисеев и саддукеев.

Jesus said to them, Be careful and on your guard against the leaven (ferment) of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

7 У ченики стали рассуждать между собой: – Он говорит это потому, что мы не взяли с собой хлеба.

And they reasoned among themselves about it, saying, It is because we did not bring any bread.

8 И исус, зная, о чем они говорят, сказал: – Маловеры, почему вы рассуждаете между собой о том, что у вас нет хлеба?

But Jesus, aware of this, asked, Why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread? O you little faith!

9 Н еужели вы еще не поняли? Разве вы не помните, как пяти хлебов хватило на пять тысяч человек? Сколько вы тогда собрали корзин с остатками?

Do you not yet discern (perceive and understand)? Do you not remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many '> small hand] baskets you gathered?

10 А сколько корзин остатков вы собрали, когда четыре тысячи мужчин наелись семью хлебами?

Nor the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many '> large provision] baskets you took up?

11 К ак вы не можете понять, что, говоря: «Берегитесь закваски фарисеев и саддукеев», – Я говорю не о хлебе?

How is it that you fail to understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But beware of the leaven (ferment) of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

12 Т огда ученики поняли, что Он предостерегал их не от закваски, которую кладут в хлеб, а от учения фарисеев и саддукеев. Петр признает Иисуса Мессией (Мк. 8: 27-30; Лк. 9: 18-21)

Then they discerned that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

13 К огда Иисус пришел в окрестности Кесарии Филипповой, Он спросил Своих учеников: – За кого люди принимают Сына Человеческого?

Now when Jesus went into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, Who do people say that the Son of Man is?

14 У ченики ответили: – Одни говорят, что Ты – Иоанн Креститель, другие – что Илия, а третьи – что Иеремия или один из других пророков.

And they answered, Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.

15 – А вы кем считаете Меня? – спросил их Иисус.

He said to them, But who do you say that I am?

16 С имон Петр ответил: – Ты – Христос, Сын живого Бога.

Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 Т огда Иисус сказал: – Блажен ты, Симон, сын Ионы, потому что это было открыто тебе не людьми, а Моим Небесным Отцом.

Then Jesus answered him, Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven.

18 И Я говорю тебе: ты – Петр, и на этой скале Я построю Мою Церковь, и врата ада не одолеют ее.

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock '> huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it.

19 Я дам тебе ключи от Небесного Царства, и что ты запретишь на земле, то будет запрещено на небесах, и все, что ты разрешишь на земле, будет разрешено и на небесах.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.

20 З атем Иисус велел ученикам никому не говорить о том, что Он – Христос. Иисус впервые говорит о Своей смерти и воскресении (Мк. 8: 31-33; Лк. 9: 22)

Then He sternly and strictly charged and warned the disciples to tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.

21 С этого времени Иисус начал объяснять ученикам, что Он должен идти в Иерусалим и там много пострадать от старейшин, первосвященников и учителей Закона, что Он будет убит, но на третий день воскреснет.

From that time forth Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders and the high priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised from death.

22 Т огда Петр отвел Его в сторону и стал возражать: – Да помилует Тебя Бог! Пусть не случится с Тобой этого, Господи!

Then Peter took Him aside to speak to Him privately and began to reprove and charge Him sharply, saying, God forbid, Lord! This must never happen to You!

23 И исус же, обернувшись, сказал Петру: – Прочь от Меня, сатана! Ты Мне камень преткновения, потому что рассуждаешь по-человечески и не понимаешь того, что хочет Бог. Что значит быть последователем Иисуса Христа (Мк. 8: 34 - 9: 1; Лк. 9: 23-27)

But Jesus turned away from Peter and said to him, Get behind Me, Satan! You are in My way; for you are minding what partakes not of the nature and quality of God, but of men.

24 П отом Иисус сказал ученикам: – Если кто желает быть Моим последователем, пусть отречется от самого себя, возьмет свой крест и пусть следует за Мной.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me '> cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also].

25 П отому что тот, кто хочет сберечь свою жизнь, потеряет ее, а кто отдаст свою жизнь ради Меня, тот обретет ее.

For whoever is bent on saving his life shall lose it; and whoever loses his life for My sake shall find it.

26 В едь что пользы человеку, если он приобретет весь мир, но при этом повредит своей душе? Или что даст человек в обмен за свою душу?

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life '> life in the kingdom of God]? Or what would a man give as an exchange for his life ?

27 К огда Сын Человеческий придет в славе Своего Отца, окруженный Своими ангелами, тогда Он воздаст каждому по его делам.

For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory (majesty, splendor) of His Father with His angels, and then He will render account and reward every man in accordance with what he has done.

28 Г оворю вам истину: некоторые из вас, стоящих здесь, не умрут, пока не увидят прежде Сына Человеческого, пришедшего в Своем Царстве.

Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in (into) His kingdom.
