1 Р одословие Иисуса Христа, сына Давида, сына Авраама:

The book of the ancestry (genealogy) of Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the son (descendant) of David, the son (descendant) of Abraham.

2 А враам был отцом Исаака, Исаак – отцом Иакова, Иаков – отцом Иуды и его братьев,

Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,

3 И уда – отцом Пареца и Зераха, а матерью их была Фамарь, Парец был отцом Хецрона, Хецрон – отцом Рама,

Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar, Perez the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Aram,

4 Р ам был отцом Аминадава, Аминадав – отцом Нахшона, Нахшон – отцом Салмона,

Aram the father of Aminadab, Aminadab the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon,

5 С алмон – отцом Боаза, матерью Боаза была Раав, Боаз был отцом Овида, матерью Овида была Руфь, Овид был отцом Иессея,

Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse,

6 а Иессей – отцом царя Давида. Давид был отцом Соломона, матерью Соломона была бывшая жена Урии,

Jesse the father of King David, King David the father of Solomon, whose mother had been the wife of Uriah,

7 С оломон был отцом Ровоама, Ровоам – отцом Авии, Авия – отцом Асы,

Solomon the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa,

8 А са – отцом Иосафата, Иосафат – отцом Иорама, Иорам – отцом Уззии,

Asa the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, Joram the father of Uzziah,

9 У ззия – отцом Иотама, Иотам – отцом Ахаза, Ахаз – отцом Езекии,

Uzziah the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, Ahaz the father of Hezekiah,

10 Е зекия – отцом Манассии, Манассия – отцом Амона, Амон – отцом Иосии,

Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, Amon the father of Josiah,

11 И осия – отцом Иоакима, Иоаким – отцом Иехонии и его братьев. В это время народ был переселен в Вавилон.

And Josiah became the father of Jeconiah and his brothers about the time of the removal (deportation) to Babylon.

12 П осле переселения в Вавилон Иехония стал отцом Шеалтиила, Шеалтиил был отцом Зоровавеля,

After the exile to Babylon, Jeconiah became the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,

13 З оровавель – отцом Авиуда, Авиуд – отцом Элиакима, Элиаким – отцом Азора,

Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,

14 А зор – отцом Садока, Садок – отцом Ахима, Ахим – отцом Елиуда,

Azor the father of Sadoc, Sadoc the father of Achim, Achim the father of Eliud,

15 Е лиуд – отцом Елеазара, Елеазар – отцом Матфана, Матфан – отцом Иакова,

Eliud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob,

16 И аков – отцом Иосифа, мужа Марии, которая и родила Иисуса, называемого Христом.

Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, Who is called the Christ. (the Messiah, the Anointed)

17 В сего от Авраама до Давида было четырнадцать поколений, от Давида до переселения в Вавилон – тоже четырнадцать и четырнадцать поколений от переселения в Вавилон до Христа. Рождение Иисуса Христа

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen, from David to the Babylonian exile (deportation) fourteen generations, from the Babylonian exile to the Christ fourteen generations.

18 И стория рождения Иисуса такова. Мать Иисуса, Мария, была обручена с Иосифом, но прежде чем они поженились, оказалось, что она беременна. Младенец, которого ей предстояло родить, был от Святого Духа.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place under these circumstances: When His mother Mary had been promised in marriage to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant of the Holy Spirit.

19 Ж ених Марии, Иосиф, был человеком праведным и, узнав об этом, хотел тайно отпустить Марию, не предавая дело огласке, чтобы не опозорить ее.

And her husband Joseph, being a just and upright man and not willing to expose her publicly and to shame and disgrace her, decided to repudiate and dismiss (divorce) her quietly and secretly.

20 Н о когда он принял такое решение, ему во сне явился ангел Господень и сказал: – Иосиф, сын Давидов! Не бойся взять Марию в жены, потому что Младенец, что в ней, – от Святого Духа.

But as he was thinking this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, descendant of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of (from, out of) the Holy Spirit.

21 О на родит Сына, и ты назовешь Его Иисус, потому что Он спасет Свой народ от грехов их!

She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins '> failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God].

22 В се, что произошло, было исполнением того, что Господь сказал через пророка:

All this took place that it might be fulfilled which the Lord had spoken through the prophet,

23 « Вот, дева забеременеет и родит Сына, и назовут Его Еммануил», что значит: «С нами Бог».

Behold, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel—which, when translated, means, God with us.

24 П робудившись от сна, Иосиф сделал так, как велел ему ангел Господень, и Мария стала женой Иосифа,

Then Joseph, being aroused from his sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him: he took his wife.

25 н о супружеской близости между ними не было до тех пор, пока она не родила Сына. Он назвал Его Иисусом.

But he had no union with her as her husband until she had borne her firstborn Son; and he called His name Jesus.
