1 Ч ерез шесть дней Иисус взял с Собой Петра, Иакова, его брата Иоанна и привел их одних на высокую гору.

And six days after this, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves.

2 И на глазах учеников вдруг Его облик изменился: лицо Его засияло, как солнце, а одежда стала белой, как свет.

And His appearance underwent a change in their presence; and His face shone clear and bright like the sun, and His clothing became as white as light.

3 И вот они увидели Моисея и Илию, беседующих с Ним.

And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, who kept talking with Him.

4 П етр сказал: – Господи, нам здесь так хорошо! Если Ты хочешь, я сделаю три шалаша: один Тебе, один Моисею и один Илии!

Then Peter began to speak and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good and delightful that we are here; if You approve, I will put up three booths here—one for You and one for Moses and one for Elijah.

5 П ока он говорил, светлое облако накрыло их, и из облака прозвучал голос: – Это Мой любимый Сын, в Котором Моя радость. Слушайте Его!

While he was still speaking, behold, a shining cloud '> composed of light] overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, This is My Son, My Beloved, with Whom I am '> have always been] delighted. Listen to Him!

6 У слышав эти слова, ученики в ужасе пали на лица свои.

When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were seized with alarm and struck with fear.

7 И исус подошел и прикоснулся к ним: – Встаньте, не бойтесь.

But Jesus came and touched them and said, Get up, and do not be afraid.

8 О ни подняли взгляд и уже никого, кроме Иисуса, не увидели.

And when they raised their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

9 К огда они спускались с горы, Иисус сказал им: – Никому не говорите о том, что вы видели здесь, до тех пор, пока Сын Человеческий не воскреснет из мертвых.

And as they were going down the mountain, Jesus cautioned and commanded them, Do not mention to anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.

10 У ченики спросили Его: – Почему же учители Закона говорят, что прежде должен прийти Илия?

The disciples asked Him, Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?

11 И исус ответил: – Илия действительно должен прийти и все приготовить.

He replied, Elijah does come and will get everything restored and ready.

12 Н о, говорю вам, Илия уже пришел, только его не узнали и поступили с ним по своему произволу. Так же и Сыну Человеческому предстоит пострадать от их рук.

But I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know or recognize him, but did to him as they liked. So also the Son of Man is going to be treated and suffer at their hands.

13 Т огда ученики поняли, что Он говорил об Иоанне Крестителе. Исцеление мальчика, одержимого нечистым духом (Мк. 9: 14-29; Лк. 9: 37-42)

Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them about John the Baptist.

14 К огда они подошли к месту, где собрался народ, один мужчина пал перед Иисусом на колени

And when they approached the multitude, a man came up to Him, kneeling before Him and saying,

15 с о словами: – Господи, сжалься над моим сыном, у него судороги, и он сильно мучается, часто бросается то в огонь, то в воду.

Lord, do pity and have mercy on my son, for he has epilepsy (is moonstruck) and he suffers terribly; for frequently he falls into the fire and many times into the water.

16 Я привел его к Твоим ученикам, но они не смогли исцелить его.

And I brought him to Your disciples, and they were not able to cure him.

17 И исус в ответ сказал: – Какое же вы неверующее и испорченное поколение! Сколько Мне еще быть с вами? Сколько Мне еще терпеть вас? Приведите мальчика ко Мне.

And Jesus answered, O you unbelieving ( warped, wayward, rebellious) and thoroughly perverse generation! How long am I to remain with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to Me.

18 И исус приказал демону выйти, и тот вышел из мальчика; в тот же миг ребенок стал совершенно здоров.

And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was cured instantly.

19 П отом, оставшись с Иисусом наедине, ученики спросили: – Почему же мы не смогли изгнать демона?

Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked privately, Why could we not drive it out?

20 И исус ответил: – Потому что у вас мало веры. Говорю вам истину: если бы ваша вера была величиной хоть с горчичное зерно, то вы могли бы этой горе сказать: «Передвинься отсюда туда», – и она бы передвинулась; для вас не было бы ничего невозможного.

He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith '> firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith '> that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

21 Э тот же вид демонов изгоняется только молитвой и постом. Иисус снова предсказывает Свою смерть и воскресение (Мк. 9: 30-32; Лк. 9: 43-45)

But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.

22 В о время пребывания в Галилее Иисус сказал ученикам: – Сын Человеческий будет предан в руки людей,

When they were going about here and there in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man is going to be turned over into the hands of men.

23 к оторые убьют Его, но на третий день Он воскреснет. Учеников это сильно опечалило. Налог на храм

And they will kill Him, and He will be raised again on the third day. And they were deeply and exceedingly grieved and distressed.

24 К огда они вернулись в Капернаум, к Петру подошли сборщики налога на нужды храма и спросили: – А ваш Учитель платит налог на храм?

When they arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the half shekel went up to Peter and said, Does not your Teacher pay the half shekel?

25 – Платит, – ответил он. Петр вошел в дом и еще не успел ничего сказать, как Иисус спросил: – Симон, как тебе кажется, с кого земные цари взимают пошлины или дань, со своих сыновей или с чужеземцев?

He answered, Yes. And when he came home, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, What do you think, Simon? From whom do earthly rulers collect duties or tribute—from their own sons or from others not of their own family?

26 – С чужеземцев, – ответил Петр. – Значит, сыновья свободны, – заключил Иисус. –

And when Peter said, From other people not of their own family, Jesus said to him, Then the sons are exempt.

27 Н о чтобы нам никого не обидеть, пойди к озеру, забрось удочку, вытащи первую рыбу, что попадется на крючок, открой ей рот, и там ты найдешь монету достоинством в четыре драхмы. Возьми ее и заплати за Меня и за себя.

However, in order not to give offense and cause them to stumble '> to judge unfavorably and unjustly] go down to the sea and throw in a hook. Take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find there a shekel. Take it and give it to them to pay the temple tax for Me and for yourself.
