1 П о прошествии дней шести, взял Иисус Петра, Иакова и Иоанна, брата его, и возвел их на гору высокую одних,

And six days after this, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves.

2 и преобразился пред ними: и просияло лице Его, как солнце, одежды же Его сделались белыми, как свет.

And His appearance underwent a change in their presence; and His face shone clear and bright like the sun, and His clothing became as white as light.

3 И вот, явились им Моисей и Илия, с Ним беседующие.

And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, who kept talking with Him.

4 П ри сем Петр сказал Иисусу: Господи! хорошо нам здесь быть; если хочешь, сделаем здесь три кущи: Тебе одну, и Моисею одну, и одну Илии.

Then Peter began to speak and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good and delightful that we are here; if You approve, I will put up three booths here—one for You and one for Moses and one for Elijah.

5 К огда он еще говорил, се, облако светлое осенило их; и се, глас из облака глаголющий: Сей есть Сын Мой Возлюбленный, в Котором Мое благоволение; Его слушайте.

While he was still speaking, behold, a shining cloud '> composed of light] overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, This is My Son, My Beloved, with Whom I am '> have always been] delighted. Listen to Him!

6 И , услышав, ученики пали на лица свои и очень испугались.

When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were seized with alarm and struck with fear.

7 Н о Иисус, приступив, коснулся их и сказал: встаньте и не бойтесь.

But Jesus came and touched them and said, Get up, and do not be afraid.

8 В озведя же очи свои, они никого не увидели, кроме одного Иисуса.

And when they raised their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

9 И когда сходили они с горы, Иисус запретил им, говоря: никому не сказывайте о сем видении, доколе Сын Человеческий не воскреснет из мертвых.

And as they were going down the mountain, Jesus cautioned and commanded them, Do not mention to anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.

10 И спросили Его ученики Его: как же книжники говорят, что Илии надлежит придти прежде?

The disciples asked Him, Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?

11 И исус сказал им в ответ: правда, Илия должен придти прежде и устроить всё;

He replied, Elijah does come and will get everything restored and ready.

12 н о говорю вам, что Илия уже пришел, и не узнали его, а поступили с ним, как хотели; так и Сын Человеческий пострадает от них.

But I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know or recognize him, but did to him as they liked. So also the Son of Man is going to be treated and suffer at their hands.

13 Т огда ученики поняли, что Он говорил им об Иоанне Крестителе.

Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them about John the Baptist.

14 К огда они пришли к народу, то подошел к Нему человек и, преклоняя пред Ним колени,

And when they approached the multitude, a man came up to Him, kneeling before Him and saying,

15 с казал: Господи! помилуй сына моего; он в новолуния и тяжко страдает, ибо часто бросается в огонь и часто в воду,

Lord, do pity and have mercy on my son, for he has epilepsy (is moonstruck) and he suffers terribly; for frequently he falls into the fire and many times into the water.

16 я приводил его к ученикам Твоим, и они не могли исцелить его.

And I brought him to Your disciples, and they were not able to cure him.

17 И исус же, отвечая, сказал: о, род неверный и развращенный! доколе буду с вами? доколе буду терпеть вас? приведите его ко Мне сюда.

And Jesus answered, O you unbelieving ( warped, wayward, rebellious) and thoroughly perverse generation! How long am I to remain with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to Me.

18 И запретил ему Иисус, и бес вышел из него; и отрок исцелился в тот час.

And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was cured instantly.

19 Т огда ученики, приступив к Иисусу наедине, сказали: почему мы не могли изгнать его?

Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked privately, Why could we not drive it out?

20 И исус же сказал им: по неверию вашему; ибо истинно говорю вам: если вы будете иметь веру с горчичное зерно и скажете горе сей: 'перейди отсюда туда', и она перейдет; и ничего не будет невозможного для вас;

He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith '> firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith '> that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

21 с ей же род изгоняется только молитвою и постом.

But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.

22 В о время пребывания их в Галилее, Иисус сказал им: Сын Человеческий предан будет в руки человеческие,

When they were going about here and there in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man is going to be turned over into the hands of men.

23 и убьют Его, и в третий день воскреснет. И они весьма опечалились.

And they will kill Him, and He will be raised again on the third day. And they were deeply and exceedingly grieved and distressed.

24 К огда же пришли они в Капернаум, то подошли к Петру собиратели дидрахм и сказали: Учитель ваш не даст ли дидрахмы?

When they arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the half shekel went up to Peter and said, Does not your Teacher pay the half shekel?

25 О н говорит: да. И когда вошел он в дом, то Иисус, предупредив его, сказал: как тебе кажется, Симон? цари земные с кого берут пошлины или подати? с сынов ли своих, или с посторонних?

He answered, Yes. And when he came home, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, What do you think, Simon? From whom do earthly rulers collect duties or tribute—from their own sons or from others not of their own family?

26 П етр говорит Ему: с посторонних. Иисус сказал ему: итак сыны свободны;

And when Peter said, From other people not of their own family, Jesus said to him, Then the sons are exempt.

27 н о, чтобы нам не соблазнить их, пойди на море, брось уду, и первую рыбу, которая попадется, возьми, и, открыв у ней рот, найдешь статир; возьми его и отдай им за Меня и за себя.

However, in order not to give offense and cause them to stumble '> to judge unfavorably and unjustly] go down to the sea and throw in a hook. Take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find there a shekel. Take it and give it to them to pay the temple tax for Me and for yourself.
