1 ( 88-1) ^^Учение Ефама Езрахита.^^ (88-2) Милости, Господи, буду петь вечно, в род и род возвещать истину Твою устами моими.

I will sing of the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness from generation to generation.

2 ( 88-3) Ибо говорю: навек основана милость, на небесах утвердил Ты истину Твою,:

For I have said, Mercy and loving-kindness shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness will You establish in the very heavens.

3 ( 88-4) 'Я поставил завет с избранным Моим, клялся Давиду, рабу Моему:

I have made a covenant with My chosen one, I have sworn to David My servant,

4 ( 88-5) навек утвержу семя твое, в род и род устрою престол твой'.

Your Seed I will establish forever, and I will build up your throne for all generations. Selah!

5 ( 88-6) И небеса прославят чудные дела Твои, Господи, и истину Твою в собрании святых.

Let heaven (the angels) praise Your wonders, O Lord, Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones (the holy angels).

6 ( 88-7) Ибо кто на небесах сравнится с Господом? кто между сынами Божиими уподобится Господу?

For who in the heavens can be compared to the Lord? Who among the mighty can be likened to the Lord,

7 ( 88-8) Страшен Бог в великом сонме святых, страшен Он для всех окружающих Его.

A God greatly feared and revered in the council of the holy (angelic) ones, and to be feared and worshipfully revered above all those who are round about Him?

8 ( 88-9) Господи, Боже сил! кто силен, как Ты, Господи? И истина Твоя окрест Тебя.

O Lord God of hosts, who is a mighty one like unto You, O Lord? And Your faithfulness is round about You.

9 ( 88-10) Ты владычествуешь над яростью моря: когда воздымаются волны его, Ты укрощаешь их.

You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves arise, You still them.

10 ( 88-11) Ты низложил Раава, как пораженного; крепкою мышцею Твоею рассеял врагов Твоих.

You have broken Rahab (Egypt) in pieces; with Your mighty arm You have scattered Your enemies.

11 ( 88-12) Твои небеса и Твоя земля; вселенную и что наполняет ее, Ты основал.

The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; the world and all that is in it, You have founded them.

12 ( 88-13) Север и юг Ты сотворил; Фавор и Ермон о имени Твоем радуются.

The north and the south, You have created them; Mount Tabor and Mount Hermon joyously praise Your name.

13 ( 88-14) Крепка мышца Твоя, сильна рука Твоя, высока десница Твоя!

You have a mighty arm; strong is Your hand, Your right hand is soaring high.

14 ( 88-15) Правосудие и правота--основание престола Твоего; милость и истина предходят пред лицем Твоим.

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and loving-kindness and truth go before Your face.

15 ( 88-16) Блажен народ, знающий трубный зов! Они ходят во свете лица Твоего, Господи,

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the people who know the joyful sound; they walk, O Lord, in the light and favor of Your countenance!

16 ( 88-17) о имени Твоем радуются весь день и правдою Твоею возносятся,

In Your name they rejoice all the day, and in Your righteousness they are exalted.

17 ( 88-18) ибо Ты украшение силы их, и благоволением Твоим возвышается рог наш.

For You are the glory of their strength, and by Your favor our horn is exalted and we walk with uplifted faces!

18 ( 88-19) От Господа--щит наш, и от Святаго Израилева--царь наш.

For our shield belongs to the Lord, and our king to the Holy One of Israel.

19 ( 88-20) Некогда говорил Ты в видении святому Твоему, и сказал: 'Я оказал помощь мужественному, вознес избранного из народа.

Once You spoke in a vision to Your devoted ones and said, I have endowed one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from among the people.

20 ( 88-21) Я обрел Давида, раба Моего, святым елеем Моим помазал его.

I have found David My servant; with My holy oil have I anointed him,

21 ( 88-22) Рука Моя пребудет с ним, и мышца Моя укрепит его.

With whom My hand shall be established and ever abide; My arm also shall strengthen him.

22 ( 88-23) Враг не превозможет его, и сын беззакония не притеснит его.

The enemy shall not exact from him or do him violence or outwit him, nor shall the wicked afflict and humble him.

23 ( 88-24) Сокрушу пред ним врагов его и поражу ненавидящих его.

I will beat down his foes before his face and smite those who hate him.

24 ( 88-25) И истина Моя и милость Моя с ним, и Моим именем возвысится рог его.

My faithfulness and My mercy and loving-kindness shall be with him, and in My name shall his horn be exalted.

25 ( 88-26) И положу на море руку его, и на реки--десницу его.

I will set his hand in control also on the Sea, and his right hand on the rivers.

26 ( 88-27) Он будет звать Меня: Ты отец мой, Бог мой и твердыня спасения моего.

He shall cry to Me, You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation!

27 ( 88-28) И Я сделаю его первенцем, превыше царей земли,

Also I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

28 ( 88-29) вовек сохраню ему милость Мою, и завет Мой с ним будет верен.

My mercy and loving-kindness will I keep for him forevermore, and My covenant shall stand fast and be faithful with him.

29 ( 88-30) И продолжу вовек семя его, и престол его--как дни неба.

His Offspring also will I make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

30 ( 88-31) Если сыновья его оставят закон Мой и не будут ходить по заповедям Моим;

If his children forsake My law and walk not in My ordinances,

31 ( 88-32) если нарушат уставы Мои и повелений Моих не сохранят:

If they break or profane My statutes and keep not My commandments,

32 ( 88-33) посещу жезлом беззаконие их, и ударами--неправду их;

Then will I punish their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

33 ( 88-34) милости же Моей не отниму от него, и не изменю истины Моей.

Nevertheless, My loving-kindness will I not break off from him, nor allow My faithfulness to fail.

34 ( 88-35) Не нарушу завета Моего, и не переменю того, что вышло из уст Моих.

My covenant will I not break or profane, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips.

35 ( 88-36) Однажды Я поклялся святостью Моею: солгу ли Давиду?

Once have I sworn by My holiness, which cannot be violated; I will not lie to David:

36 ( 88-37) Семя его пребудет вечно, и престол его, как солнце, предо Мною,

His Offspring shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me.

37 ( 88-38) вовек будет тверд, как луна, и верный свидетель на небесах'.

It shall be established forever as the moon, the faithful witness in the heavens. Selah!

38 ( 88-39) Но Ты отринул и презрел, прогневался на помазанника Твоего;

But You have cast off and rejected; You have been full of wrath against Your anointed.

39 ( 88-40) пренебрег завет с рабом Твоим, поверг на землю венец его;

You have despised and loathed and renounced the covenant with Your servant; You have profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.

40 ( 88-41) разрушил все ограды его, превратил в развалины крепости его.

You have broken down all his hedges and his walls; You have brought his strongholds to ruin.

41 ( 88-42) Расхищают его все проходящие путем; он сделался посмешищем у соседей своих.

All who pass along the road spoil and rob him; he has become the scorn and reproach of his neighbors.

42 ( 88-43) Ты возвысил десницу противников его, обрадовал всех врагов его;

You have exalted the right hand of his foes; You have made all his enemies rejoice.

43 ( 88-44) Ты обратил назад острие меча его и не укрепил его на брани;

Moreover, You have turned back the edge of his sword and have not made him to stand in battle.

44 ( 88-45) отнял у него блеск и престол его поверг на землю;

You have made his glory and splendor to cease and have hurled to the ground his throne.

45 ( 88-46) сократил дни юности его и покрыл его стыдом.

The days of his youth have You shortened; You have covered him with shame. Selah!

46 ( 88-47) Доколе, Господи, будешь скрываться непрестанно, будет пылать ярость Твоя, как огонь?

How long, O Lord? Will You hide Yourself forever? How long shall Your wrath burn like fire?

47 ( 88-48) Вспомни, какой мой век: на какую суету сотворил Ты всех сынов человеческих?

O remember how short my time is and what a mere fleeting life mine is. For what emptiness, falsity, futility, and frailty You have created all men!

48 ( 88-49) Кто из людей жил--и не видел смерти, избавил душу свою от руки преисподней?

What man can live and shall not see death, or can deliver himself from the hand of Sheol (the place of the dead)? Selah!

49 ( 88-50) Где прежние милости Твои, Господи? Ты клялся Давиду истиною Твоею.

Lord, where are Your former loving-kindnesses, which You swore to David in Your faithfulness?

50 ( 88-51) Вспомни, Господи, поругание рабов Твоих, которое я ношу в недре моем от всех сильных народов;

Remember, Lord, and earnestly imprint the reproach of Your servants, scorned and insulted, how I bear in my bosom the reproach of all the many and mighty peoples,

51 ( 88-52) как поносят враги Твои, Господи, как бесславят следы помазанника Твоего.

With which Your enemies have taunted, O Lord, with which they have mocked the footsteps of Your anointed.

52 ( 88-53) Благословен Господь вовек! Аминь, аминь.

Blessed be the Lord forevermore! Amen and Amen.
