1 Ч ерез два дня быть Пасхи и опресноков. И искали первосвященники и книжники, как бы взять Его хитростью и убить;

It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the chief priests and the scribes were all the while seeking to arrest by secrecy and deceit and put to death,

2 н о говорили: не в праздник, чтобы не произошло возмущения в народе.

For they kept saying, It must not be during the Feast, for fear that there might be a riot of the people.

3 И когда был Он в Вифании, в доме Симона прокаженного, и возлежал, --пришла женщина с алавастровым сосудом мира из нарда чистого, драгоценного и, разбив сосуд, возлила Ему на голову.

And while He was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as He was reclining, a woman came with an alabaster jar of ointment ( perfume) of pure nard, very costly and precious; and she broke the jar and poured over His head.

4 Н екоторые же вознегодовали и говорили между собою: к чему сия трата мира?

But there were some who were moved with indignation and said to themselves, To what purpose was the ointment ( perfume) thus wasted?

5 И бо можно было бы продать его более нежели за триста динариев и раздать нищим. И роптали на нее.

For it was possible to have sold this for more than 300 denarii and to have given to the poor. And they censured and reproved her.

6 Н о Иисус сказал: оставьте ее; что ее смущаете? Она доброе дело сделала для Меня.

But Jesus said, Let her alone; why are you troubling her? She has done a good and beautiful thing to Me.

7 И бо нищих всегда имеете с собою и, когда захотите, можете им благотворить; а Меня не всегда имеете.

For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you wish you can do good to them; but you will not always have Me.

8 О на сделала, что могла: предварила помазать тело Мое к погребению.

She has done what she could; she came beforehand to anoint My body for the burial.

9 И стинно говорю вам: где ни будет проповедано Евангелие сие в целом мире, сказано будет, в память ее, и о том, что она сделала.

And surely I tell you, wherever the good news (the Gospel) is proclaimed in the entire world, what she has done will be told in memory of her.

10 И пошел Иуда Искариот, один из двенадцати, к первосвященникам, чтобы предать Его им.

Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the Twelve, went off to the chief priests in order to betray and hand Him over to them.

11 О ни же, услышав, обрадовались, и обещали дать ему сребренники. И он искал, как бы в удобное время предать Его.

And when they heard it, they rejoiced and were delighted, and they promised to give him money. And he sought an opportunity to betray Him.

12 В первый день опресноков, когда заколали пасхального, говорят Ему ученики Его: где хочешь есть пасху? мы пойдем и приготовим.

On the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, disciples said to Him, Where do You wish us to go prepare the Passover for You to eat?

13 И посылает двух из учеников Своих и говорит им: пойдите в город; и встретится вам человек, несущий кувшин воды; последуйте за ним

And He sent two of His disciples and said to them, Go into the city, and a man carrying an jar or pitcher of water will meet you; follow him.

14 и куда он войдет, скажите хозяину дома того: Учитель говорит: где комната, в которой бы Мне есть пасху с учениками Моими?

And whatever he enters, say to the master of the house, The Teacher says: Where is My guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?

15 И он покажет вам горницу большую, устланную, готовую: там приготовьте нам.

And he will show you a large upper room, furnished and ready; there prepare for us.

16 И пошли ученики Его, и пришли в город, и нашли, как сказал им; и приготовили пасху.

Then the disciples set out and came to the city and found just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.

17 К огда настал вечер, Он приходит с двенадцатью.

And when it was evening, He came with the Twelve.

18 И , когда они возлежали и ели, Иисус сказал: истинно говорю вам, один из вас, ядущий со Мною, предаст Меня.

And while they were at the table eating, Jesus said, Surely I say to you, one of you will betray Me, who is eating with Me.

19 О ни опечалились и стали говорить Ему, один за другим: не я ли? и другой: не я ли?

And they began to show that they were sad and hurt, and to say to Him one after another, Is it I? or, It is not I, is it?

20 О н же сказал им в ответ: один из двенадцати, обмакивающий со Мною в блюдо.

He replied to them, It is one of the Twelve, one who is dipping into the dish with Me.

21 В прочем Сын Человеческий идет, как писано о Нем; но горе тому человеку, которым Сын Человеческий предается: лучше было бы тому человеку не родиться.

For the Son of Man is going as it stands written concerning Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good (profitable and wholesome) for that man if he had never been born.

22 И когда они ели, Иисус, взяв хлеб, благословил, преломил, дал им и сказал: приимите, ядите; сие есть Тело Мое.

And while they were eating, He took a loaf, praised God and gave thanks and asked Him to bless it to their use. He broke and gave to them and said, Take. Eat. This is My body.

23 И , взяв чашу, благодарив, подал им: и пили из нее все.

He also took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave to them, and they all drank of it.

24 И сказал им: сие есть Кровь Моя Нового Завета, за многих изливаемая.

And He said to them, This is My blood the new covenant, which is being poured out for (on account of) many.

25 И стинно говорю вам: Я уже не буду пить от плода виноградного до того дня, когда буду пить новое вино в Царствии Божием.

Solemnly and surely I tell you, I shall not again drink of the fruit of the vine till that day when I drink it of a new and a higher quality in God’s kingdom.

26 И , воспев, пошли на гору Елеонскую.

And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

27 И говорит им Иисус: все вы соблазнитесь о Мне в эту ночь; ибо написано: поражу пастыря, и рассеются овцы.

And Jesus said to them, You will all fall away this night, for it stands written, I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.

28 П о воскресении же Моем, Я предваряю вас в Галилее.

But after I am raised, I will go before you into Galilee.

29 П етр сказал Ему: если и все соблазнятся, но не я.

But Peter said to Him, Even if they all fall away and are caused to stumble and distrust and desert You, yet I will not!

30 И говорит ему Иисус: истинно говорю тебе, что ты ныне, в эту ночь, прежде нежели дважды пропоет петух, трижды отречешься от Меня.

And Jesus said to him, Truly I tell you, this very night, before a cock crows twice, you will utterly deny Me three times.

31 Н о он еще с большим усилием говорил: хотя бы мне надлежало и умереть с Тобою, не отрекусь от Тебя. То же и все говорили.

But said more vehemently and repeatedly, if it should be necessary for me to die with You, I will not deny or disown You! And they all kept saying the same thing.

32 П ришли в селение, называемое Гефсимания; и Он сказал ученикам Своим: посидите здесь, пока Я помолюсь.

Then they went to a place called Gethsemane, and He said to His disciples, Sit down here while I pray.

33 И взял с Собою Петра, Иакова и Иоанна; и начал ужасаться и тосковать.

And He took with Him Peter and James and John, and began to be struck with terror and amazement and deeply troubled and depressed.

34 И сказал им: душа Моя скорбит смертельно; побудьте здесь и бодрствуйте.

And He said to them, My soul is exceedingly sad (overwhelmed with grief) so that it almost kills Me! Remain here and keep awake and be watching.

35 И , отойдя немного, пал на землю и молился, чтобы, если возможно, миновал Его час сей;

And going a little farther, He fell on the ground and kept praying that if it were possible the '> fatal] hour might pass from Him.

36 и говорил: Авва Отче! всё возможно Тебе; пронеси чашу сию мимо Меня; но не чего Я хочу, а чего Ты.

And He was saying, Abba, Father, everything is possible for You. Take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You.

37 В озвращается и находит их спящими, и говорит Петру: Симон! ты спишь? не мог ты бодрствовать один час?

And He came back and found them sleeping, and He said to Peter, Simon, are you asleep? Have you not the strength to keep awake and watch one hour?

38 Б одрствуйте и молитесь, чтобы не впасть в искушение: дух бодр, плоть же немощна.

Keep awake and watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

39 И , опять отойдя, молился, сказав то же слово.

He went away again and prayed, saying the same words.

40 И , возвратившись, опять нашел их спящими, ибо глаза у них отяжелели, и они не знали, что Ему отвечать.

And again He came back and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they did not know what answer to give Him.

41 И приходит в третий раз и говорит им: вы всё еще спите и почиваете? Кончено, пришел час: вот, предается Сын Человеческий в руки грешников.

And He came back a third time and said to them, Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinful men (men whose way or nature is to act in opposition to God).

42 В станьте, пойдем; вот, приблизился предающий Меня.

Get up, let us be going! See, My betrayer is at hand!

43 И тотчас, как Он еще говорил, приходит Иуда, один из двенадцати, и с ним множество народа с мечами и кольями, от первосвященников и книжников и старейшин.

And at once, while He was still speaking, Judas came, one of the Twelve, and with him a crowd of men with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

44 П редающий же Его дал им знак, сказав: Кого я поцелую, Тот и есть, возьмите Его и ведите осторожно.

Now the betrayer had given them a signal, saying, The One I shall kiss is; seize Him and lead away safely.

45 И , придя, тотчас подошел к Нему и говорит: Равви! Равви! и поцеловал Его.

And when he came, he went up to Jesus immediately and said, Master! Master! and he embraced Him and kissed Him fervently.

46 А они возложили на Него руки свои и взяли Его.

And they threw their hands on Him and arrested Him.

47 О дин же из стоявших тут извлек меч, ударил раба первосвященникова и отсек ему ухо.

But one of the bystanders drew his sword and struck the bond servant of the high priest and cut off his ear.

48 Т огда Иисус сказал им: как будто на разбойника вышли вы с мечами и кольями, чтобы взять Меня.

And Jesus said to them, Have you come out with swords and clubs as against a robber to capture Me?

49 К аждый день бывал Я с вами в храме и учил, и вы не брали Меня. Но да сбудутся Писания.

I was with you daily in the temple '> porches and courts] teaching, and you did not seize Me; but that the Scriptures might be fulfilled.

50 Т огда, оставив Его, все бежали.

Then, forsaking Him, fled, all.

51 О дин юноша, завернувшись по нагому телу в покрывало, следовал за Ним; и воины схватили его.

And a young man was following Him, with nothing but a linen cloth ( sheet) thrown about naked; and they laid hold of him,

52 Н о он, оставив покрывало, нагой убежал от них.

But, leaving behind the linen cloth ( sheet), he fled from them naked.

53 И привели Иисуса к первосвященнику; и собрались к нему все первосвященники и старейшины и книжники.

And they led Jesus away to the high priest, and all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes were gathered together.

54 П етр издали следовал за Ним, даже внутрь двора первосвященникова; и сидел со служителями, и грелся у огня.

And Peter followed Him at a distance, even right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he was sitting '> in the firelight] with the guards and warming himself at the fire.

55 П ервосвященники же и весь синедрион искали свидетельства на Иисуса, чтобы предать Его смерти; и не находили.

Now the chief priests and the entire council (the Sanhedrin) were constantly seeking testimony against Jesus with a view to condemning Him and putting Him to death, but they did not find any.

56 И бо многие лжесвидетельствовали на Него, но свидетельства сии не были достаточны.

For many were repeatedly bearing false witness against Him, but their testimonies did not agree.

57 И некоторые, встав, лжесвидетельствовали против Него и говорили:

And some stood up and were bearing false witness against Him, saying,

58 м ы слышали, как Он говорил: Я разрушу храм сей рукотворенный, и через три дня воздвигну другой, нерукотворенный.

We heard Him say, I will destroy this temple (sanctuary) which is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, made without hands.

59 Н о и такое свидетельство их не было достаточно.

Still not even did their testimony agree.

60 Т огда первосвященник стал посреди и спросил Иисуса: что Ты ничего не отвечаешь? что они против Тебя свидетельствуют?

And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, Have You not even one answer to make? What these are testifying against You?

61 Н о Он молчал и не отвечал ничего. Опять первосвященник спросил Его и сказал Ему: Ты ли Христос, Сын Благословенного?

But He kept still and did not answer at all. Again the high priest asked Him, Are You the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), the Son of the Blessed?

62 И исус сказал: Я; и вы узрите Сына Человеческого, сидящего одесную силы и грядущего на облаках небесных.

And Jesus said, I Am; and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power ( the Almighty) and coming on the clouds of heaven.

63 Т огда первосвященник, разодрав одежды свои, сказал: на что еще нам свидетелей?

Then the high priest tore his garments and said, What need have we for more witnesses?

64 В ы слышали богохульство; как вам кажется? Они же все признали Его повинным смерти.

You have heard His blasphemy. What is your decision? And they all condemned Him as being guilty and deserving of death.

65 И некоторые начали плевать на Него и, закрывая Ему лице, ударять Его и говорить Ему: прореки. И слуги били Его по ланитам.

And some of them began to spit on Him and to blindfold Him and to strike Him with their fists, saying to Him, Prophesy! And the guards received Him with blows and by slapping Him.

66 К огда Петр был на дворе внизу, пришла одна из служанок первосвященника

While Peter was down below in the courtyard, one of the maids of the high priest came;

67 и , увидев Петра греющегося и всмотревшись в него, сказала: и ты был с Иисусом Назарянином.

And when she saw Peter warming himself, she gazed intently at him and said, You were with Jesus of Nazareth too.

68 Н о он отрекся, сказав: не знаю и не понимаю, что ты говоришь. И вышел вон на передний двор; и запел петух.

But he denied it falsely and disowned Him, saying, I neither know nor understand what you say. Then he went outside into the vestibule. And a cock crowed.

69 С лужанка, увидев его опять, начала говорить стоявшим тут: этот из них.

And the maidservant saw him, and began again to say to the bystanders, This is of them.

70 О н опять отрекся. Спустя немного, стоявшие тут опять стали говорить Петру: точно ты из них; ибо ты Галилеянин, и наречие твое сходно.

But again he denied it falsely and disowned Him. And after a short while, again the bystanders said to Peter, Really, you are one of them, for you are a Galilean and your dialect shows it.

71 О н же начал клясться и божиться: не знаю Человека Сего, о Котором говорите.

Then he commenced invoking a curse on himself and swearing, I do not know the Man about Whom you are talking!

72 Т огда петух запел во второй раз. И вспомнил Петр слово, сказанное ему Иисусом: прежде нежели петух пропоет дважды, трижды отречешься от Меня; и начал плакать.

And at once for the second time a cock crowed. And Peter remembered how Jesus said to him, Before a cock crows twice, you will utterly deny Me three times. And having put his thought upon it, he broke down and wept aloud and lamented.
