1 ( 108-1) ^^Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида.^^ Боже хвалы моей! не премолчи,

O God of my praise! Keep not silence,

2 ( 108-2) ибо отверзлись на меня уста нечестивые и уста коварные; говорят со мною языком лживым;

For the mouths of the wicked and the mouth of deceit are opened against me; they have spoken to me and against me with lying tongues.

3 ( 108-3) отвсюду окружают меня словами ненависти, вооружаются против меня без причины;

They have compassed me about also with words of hatred and have fought against me without a cause.

4 ( 108-4) за любовь мою они враждуют на меня, а я молюсь;

In return for my love they are my adversaries, but I resort to prayer.

5 ( 108-5) воздают мне за добро злом, за любовь мою--ненавистью.

And they have rewarded and laid upon me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

6 ( 108-6) Поставь над ним нечестивого, и диавол да станет одесную его.

Set a wicked man over him, and let accuser stand at his right hand.

7 ( 108-7) Когда будет судиться, да выйдет виновным, и молитва его да будет в грех;

When is judged, let him be condemned, and let his prayer be turned into a sin.

8 ( 108-8) да будут дни его кратки, и достоинство его да возьмет другой;

Let his days be few; and let another take his office and charge.

9 ( 108-9) дети его да будут сиротами, и жена его--вдовою;

Let his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.

10 ( 108-10) да скитаются дети его и нищенствуют, и просят из развалин своих;

Let his children be continual vagabonds and beg; let them seek their bread and be driven far from their ruined homes.

11 ( 108-11) да захватит заимодавец все, что есть у него, и чужие да расхитят труд его;

Let the creditor and extortioner seize all that he has; and let strangers (barbarians and foreigners) plunder the fruits of his labor.

12 ( 108-12) да не будет сострадающего ему, да не будет милующего сирот его;

Let there be none to extend or continue mercy and kindness to him, neither let there be any to have pity on his fatherless children.

13 ( 108-13) да будет потомство его на погибель, и да изгладится имя их в следующем роде;

Let his posterity be cut off, and in the generation following let their names be blotted out.

14 ( 108-14) да будет воспомянуто пред Господом беззаконие отцов его, и грех матери его да не изгладится;

Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

15 ( 108-15) да будут они всегда в очах Господа, и да истребит Он память их на земле,

Let them be before the Lord continually, that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth!—

16 ( 108-16) за то, что он не думал оказывать милость, но преследовал человека бедного и нищего и сокрушенного сердцем, чтобы умертвить его;

Because the man did not remember to show mercy, but pursued and persecuted the poor and needy man, and the broken in heart to slay.

17 ( 108-17) возлюбил проклятие, --оно и придет на него; не восхотел благословения, --оно и удалится от него;

Yes, he loved cursing, and it came upon him; he delighted not in blessing, and it was far from him.

18 ( 108-18) да облечется проклятием, как ризою, и да войдет оно, как вода, во внутренность его и, как елей, в кости его;

He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment, and it seeped into his inward like water, and like oil into his bones.

19 ( 108-19) да будет оно ему, как одежда, в которую он одевается, и как пояс, которым всегда опоясывается.

Let it be to him as the raiment with which he covers himself and as the girdle with which he is girded continually.

20 ( 108-20) Таково воздаяние от Господа врагам моим и говорящим злое на душу мою!

Let this be the reward of my adversaries from the Lord, and of those who speak evil against my life.

21 ( 108-21) Со мною же, Господи, Господи, твори ради имени Твоего, ибо блага милость Твоя; спаси меня,

But You deal with me and act for me, O God the Lord, for Your name’s sake; because Your mercy and loving-kindness are good, O deliver me.

22 ( 108-22) ибо я беден и нищ, и сердце мое уязвлено во мне.

For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded and stricken within me.

23 ( 108-23) Я исчезаю, как уклоняющаяся тень; гонят меня, как саранчу.

I am gone like the shadow when it lengthens and declines; I toss up and down and am shaken off as the locust.

24 ( 108-24) Колени мои изнемогли от поста, и тело мое лишилось тука.

My knees are weak and totter from fasting; and my body is gaunt and has no fatness.

25 ( 108-25) Я стал для них посмешищем: увидев меня, кивают головами.

I have become also a reproach and a taunt to others; when they see me, they shake their heads.

26 ( 108-26) Помоги мне, Господи, Боже мой, спаси меня по милости Твоей,

Help me, O Lord my God; O save me according to Your mercy and loving-kindness!—

27 ( 108-27) да познают, что это--Твоя рука, и что Ты, Господи, соделал это.

That they may know that this is Your hand, that You, Lord, have done it.

28 ( 108-28) Они проклинают, а Ты благослови; они восстают, но да будут постыжены; раб же Твой да возрадуется.

Let them curse, but do You bless. When adversaries arise, let them be put to shame, but let Your servant rejoice.

29 ( 108-29) Да облекутся противники мои бесчестьем и, как одеждою, покроются стыдом своим.

Let my adversaries be clothed with shame and dishonor, and let them cover themselves with their own disgrace and confusion as with a robe.

30 ( 108-30) И я громко буду устами моими славить Господа и среди множества прославлять Его,

I will give great praise and thanks to the Lord with my mouth; yes, and I will praise Him among the multitude.

31 ( 108-31) ибо Он стоит одесную бедного, чтобы спасти его от судящих душу его.

For He will stand at the right hand of the poor and needy, to save him from those who condemn his life.
