1 ( 113-9) Не нам, Господи, не нам, но имени Твоему дай славу, ради милости Твоей, ради истины Твоей.

Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name give glory, for Your mercy and loving-kindness and for the sake of Your truth and faithfulness!

2 ( 113-10) Для чего язычникам говорить: 'где же Бог их'?

Why should the nations say, Where is now their God?

3 ( 113-11) Бог наш на небесах; творит все, что хочет.

But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.

4 ( 113-12) А их идолы--серебро и золото, дело рук человеческих.

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

5 ( 113-13) Есть у них уста, но не говорят; есть у них глаза, но не видят;

They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

6 ( 113-14) есть у них уши, но не слышат; есть у них ноздри, но не обоняют;

They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not;

7 ( 113-15) есть у них руки, но не осязают; есть у них ноги, но не ходят; и они не издают голоса гортанью своею.

They have hands, but they handle not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither can they make a sound with their throats.

8 ( 113-16) Подобны им да будут делающие их и все, надеющиеся на них.

They who make idols are like them; so are all who trust in and lean on them.

9 ( 113-17) Израилев! уповай на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.

O Israel, trust and take refuge in the Lord! He is their Help and their Shield.

10 ( 113-18) Дом Ааронов! уповай на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.

O house of Aaron, trust in and lean on the Lord! He is their Help and their Shield.

11 ( 113-19) Боящиеся Господа! уповайте на Господа: Он наша помощь и щит.

You who fear the Lord, trust in and lean on the Lord! He is their Help and their Shield.

12 ( 113-20) Господь помнит нас, благословляет, благословляет дом Израилев, благословляет дом Ааронов;

The Lord has been mindful of us, He will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron,

13 ( 113-21) благословляет боящихся Господа, малых с великими.

He will bless those who reverently and worshipfully fear the Lord, both small and great.

14 ( 113-22) Да приложит вам Господь более и более, вам и детям вашим.

May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children.

15 ( 113-23) Благословенны вы Господом, сотворившим небо и землю.

May you be blessed of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth!

16 ( 113-24) Небо--небо Господу, а землю Он дал сынам человеческим.

The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men.

17 ( 113-25) Ни мертвые восхвалят Господа, ни все нисходящие в могилу;

The dead praise not the Lord, neither any who go down into silence.

18 ( 113-26) но мы будем благословлять Господа отныне и вовек. Аллилуия.

But we will bless (affectionately and gratefully praise) the Lord from this time forth and forever. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
