1 И сказал Господь Моисею: пойди к фараону и скажи ему: так говорит Господь: отпусти народ Мой, чтобы он совершил Мне служение;

Then the Lord said to Moses, Go to Pharaoh and say to him, Thus says the Lord, Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

2 е сли же ты не согласишься отпустить, то вот, Я поражаю всю область твою жабами;

And if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite your entire land with frogs;

3 и воскишит река жабами, и они выйдут и войдут в дом твой, и в спальню твою, и на постель твою, и в домы рабов твоих и народа твоего, и в печи твои, и в квашни твои,

And the river shall swarm with frogs which shall go up and come into your house, into your bedchamber and on your bed, and into the houses of your servants and upon your people, and into your ovens, your kneading bowls, and your dough.

4 и на тебя, и на народ твой, и на всех рабов твоих взойдут жабы.

And the frogs shall come up on you and on your people and all your servants.

5 И сказал Господь Моисею: скажи Аарону: простри руку твою с жезлом твоим на реки, на потоки и на озера и выведи жаб на землю Египетскую.

And the Lord said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch out your hand with your rod over the rivers, the streams and canals, and over the pools, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.

6 А арон простер руку свою на воды Египетские; и вышли жабы и покрыли землю Египетскую.

So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land.

7 Т о же сделали и волхвы чарами своими и вывели жаб на землю Египетскую.

But the magicians did the same thing with their enchantments and secret arts, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

8 И призвал фараон Моисея и Аарона и сказал: помолитесь Господу, чтоб Он удалил жаб от меня и от народа моего, и я отпущу народ принести жертву Господу.

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat the Lord, that He may take away the frogs from me and my people; and I will let the people go that they may sacrifice to the Lord.

9 М оисей сказал фараону: назначь мне сам, когда помолиться за тебя, за рабов твоих и за народ твой, чтобы жабы исчезли у тебя, в домах твоих, и остались только в реке.

Moses said to Pharaoh, Glory over me in this: dictate when I shall pray for you, your servants, and your people, that the frogs may be destroyed from you and your houses and remain only in the river.

10 О н сказал: завтра. отвечал: по слову твоему, дабы ты узнал, что нет никого, как Господь Бог наш;

And said, Tomorrow. said, Let it be as you say, that you may know that there is no one like the Lord our God.

11 и удалятся жабы от тебя, от домов твоих, и от рабов твоих и от твоего народа; только в реке они останутся.

And the frogs shall depart from you and your houses and from your servants and your people; they shall remain in the river only.

12 М оисей и Аарон вышли от фараона, и Моисей воззвал к Господу о жабах, которых Он навел на фараона.

So Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried to the Lord concerning the frogs which He had brought against him.

13 И сделал Господь по слову Моисея: жабы вымерли в домах, на дворах и на полях;

And the Lord did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courtyards and villages, and out of the fields.

14 и собрали их в груды, и воссмердела земля.

gathered them together in heaps, and the land was loathsome and stank.

15 И увидел фараон, что сделалось облегчение, и ожесточил сердце свое, и не послушал их, как и говорил Господь.

But when Pharaoh saw that there was temporary relief, he made his heart stubborn and hard and would not listen or heed them, just as the Lord had said.

16 И сказал Господь Моисею: скажи Аарону: простри жезл твой и ударь в персть земную, и сделается мошками по всей земле Египетской.

Then the Lord said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch out your rod and strike the dust of the ground, that it may become biting gnats or mosquitoes throughout all the land of Egypt.

17 Т ак они и сделали: Аарон простер руку свою с жезлом своим и ударил в персть земную, и явились мошки на людях и на скоте. Вся персть земная сделалась мошками по всей земле Египетской.

And they did so; Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and struck the dust of the earth, and there came biting gnats or mosquitoes on man and beast; all the dust of the land became biting gnats or mosquitoes throughout all the land of Egypt.

18 С тарались также и волхвы чарами своими произвести мошек, но не могли. И были мошки на людях и на скоте.

The magicians tried by their enchantments and secret arts to bring forth gnats or mosquitoes, but they could not; and there were gnats or mosquitoes on man and beast.

19 И сказали волхвы фараону: это перст Божий. Но сердце фараоново ожесточилось, и он не послушал их, как и говорил Господь.

Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, This is the finger of God! But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened and strong and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.

20 И сказал Господь Моисею: завтра встань рано и явись пред лице фараона. Вот, он пойдет к воде, и ты скажи ему: так говорит Господь: отпусти народ Мой, чтобы он совершил Мне служение.

Then the Lord said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh as he comes forth to the water; and say to him, Thus says the Lord, Let My people go, that they may serve Me.

21 а если не отпустишь народа Моего, то вот, Я пошлю на тебя и на рабов твоих, и на народ твой, и в домы твои песьих мух, и наполнятся домы Египтян песьими мухами и самая земля, на которой они;

Else, if you will not let My people go, behold, I will send swarms upon you, your servants, and your people, and into your houses; and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms, and also the ground on which they stand.

22 и отделю в тот день землю Гесем, на которой пребывает народ Мой, и там не будет песьих мух, дабы ты знал, что Я Господь среди земли;

But on that day I will sever and set apart the land of Goshen in which My people dwell, that no swarms shall be there, so that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth.

23 Я сделаю разделение между народом Моим и между народом твоим. Завтра будет сие знамение.

And I will put a division and a sign of deliverance between My people and your people. By tomorrow shall this sign be in evidence.

24 Т ак и сделал Господь: налетело множество песьих мух в дом фараонов, и в домы рабов его, и на всю землю Египетскую: погибала земля от песьих мух.

And the Lord did so; and there came heavy and oppressive swarms into the house of Pharaoh and his servants’ houses; and in all of Egypt the land was corrupted and ruined by reason of the great invasion.

25 И призвал фараон Моисея и Аарона и сказал: пойдите, принесите жертву Богу вашему в сей земле.

And Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Go, sacrifice to your God in the land.

26 Н о Моисей сказал: нельзя сего сделать, ибо отвратительно для Египтян жертвоприношение наше Господу, Богу нашему: если мы отвратительную для Египтян жертву станем приносить в глазах их, то не побьют ли они нас камнями?

And Moses said, It is not suitable or right to do that; for the animals the Egyptians hold sacred and will not permit to be slain are those which we are accustomed to sacrifice to the Lord our God; if we did this before the eyes of the Egyptians, would they not stone us?

27 м ы пойдем в пустыню, на три дня пути, и принесем жертву Господу, Богу нашему, как скажет нам.

We will go a three days’ journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to the Lord our God, as He will command us.

28 И сказал фараон: я отпущу вас принести жертву Господу Богу вашему в пустыне, только не уходите далеко; помолитесь обо мне.

So Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only you shall not go very far away. Entreat for me.

29 М оисей сказал: вот, я выхожу от тебя и помолюсь Господу, и удалятся песьи мухи от фараона, и от рабов его, и от народа его завтра, только фараон пусть перестанет обманывать, не отпуская народа принести жертву Господу.

Moses said, I go out from you, and I will entreat the Lord that the swarms may depart from Pharaoh, his servants, and his people tomorrow; only let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.

30 И вышел Моисей от фараона и помолился Господу.

So Moses went out from Pharaoh and entreated the Lord.

31 И сделал Господь по слову Моисея и удалил песьих мух от фараона, от рабов его и от народа его: не осталось ни одной.

And the Lord did as Moses had spoken: He removed the swarms from Pharaoh, from his servants, and his people; there remained not one.

32 Н о фараон ожесточил сердце свое и на этот раз и не отпустил народа.

But Pharaoh hardened his heart and made it stubborn this time also, nor would he let the people go.
