1 В от, Господь, Господь Саваоф, отнимет у Иерусалима и у Иуды посох и трость, всякое подкрепление хлебом и всякое подкрепление водою,

For behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, is taking away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread and the whole stay of water,

2 х раброго вождя и воина, судью и пророка, и прозорливца и старца,

The mighty man and the man of war, the judge and the prophet, the one who foretells by divination and the old man,

3 п ятидесятника и вельможу и советника, и мудрого художника и искусного в слове.

The captain of fifty and the man of rank, the counselor and the expert craftsman and the skillful enchanter.

4 И дам им отроков в начальники, и дети будут господствовать над ними.

And I will make boys their princes, and with childishness shall they rule over them.

5 И в народе один будет угнетаем другим, и каждый--ближним своим; юноша будет нагло превозноситься над старцем, и простолюдин над вельможею.

And the people shall be oppressed, each one by another, and each one by his neighbor; the child shall behave himself proudly and with insolence against the old man, and the lowborn against the honorable.

6 Т огда ухватится человек за брата своего, в семействе отца своего,: у тебя одежда, будь нашим вождем, и да будут эти развалины под рукою твоею.

When a man shall take hold of his brother in the house of his father, saying, You have a robe, you shall be our judge and ruler, and this heap of ruins shall be under your control—

7 А с клятвою скажет: не могу исцелить; и в моем доме нет ни хлеба, ни одежды; не делайте меня вождем народа.

In that day he will answer, saying, I will not be a healer and one who binds up; I am not a physician. For in my house is neither bread nor clothing; you shall not make me judge and ruler of the people.

8 Т ак рушился Иерусалим, и пал Иуда, потому что язык их и дела их--против Господа, оскорбительны для очей славы Его.

For Jerusalem is ruined and Judah is fallen, because their speech and their deeds are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of His glory and defy His glorious presence.

9 В ыражение лиц их свидетельствует против них, и о грехе своем они рассказывают открыто, как Содомляне, не скрывают: горе душе их! ибо сами на себя навлекают зло.

Their respecting of persons and showing of partiality witnesses against them; they proclaim their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! For they have brought evil.

10 С кажите праведнику, что благо, ибо он будет вкушать плоды дел своих;

Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

11 а беззаконнику--горе, ибо будет ему возмездие за рук его.

Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with them, for what their hands have done shall be done to them.

12 П ритеснители народа Моего--дети, и женщины господствуют над ним. Народ Мой! вожди твои вводят тебя в заблуждение и путь стезей твоих испортили.

As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people, your leaders cause you to err, and they confuse (destroy and swallow up) the course of your paths.

13 В осстал Господь на суд--и стоит, чтобы судить народы.

The Lord stands up to contend, and stands to judge the peoples and His people.

14 Г осподь вступает в суд со старейшинами народа Своего и с князьями его: вы опустошили виноградник; награбленное у бедного--в ваших домах;

The Lord enters into judgment with the elders of His people and their princes: For you have devoured the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

15 ч то вы тесните народ Мой и угнетаете бедных? говорит Господь, Господь Саваоф.

What do you mean by crushing My people and grinding the faces of the poor? says the Lord God of hosts.

16 И сказал Господь: за то, что дочери Сиона надменны и ходят, подняв шею и обольщая взорами, и выступают величавою поступью и гремят цепочками на ногах, --

Moreover, the Lord said, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks and with undisciplined (flirtatious and alluring) eyes, tripping along with mincing and affected gait, and making a tinkling noise with their feet,

17 о голит Господь темя дочерей Сиона и обнажит Господь срамоту их;

Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will cause them to be stripped naked.

18 в тот день отнимет Господь красивые цепочки на ногах и звездочки, и луночки,

In that day the Lord will take away the finery of their tinkling anklets, the caps of network, the crescent head ornaments,

19 с ерьги, и ожерелья, и опахала, увясла и запястья, и пояса, и сосудцы с духами, и привески волшебные,

The pendants, the bracelets or chains, and the spangled face veils and scarfs,

20 п ерстни и кольца в носу,

The headbands, the short ankle chains, the sashes, the perfume boxes, the amulets or charms,

21 в ерхнюю одежду и нижнюю, и платки, и кошельки,

The signet rings and nose rings,

22 с ветлые тонкие епанчи и повязки, и покрывала.

The festal robes, the cloaks, the stoles and shawls, and the handbags,

23 И будет вместо благовония зловоние, и вместо пояса будет веревка, и вместо завитых волос--плешь, и вместо широкой епанчи--узкое вретище, вместо красоты--клеймо.

The hand mirrors, the fine linen, the turbans, and the veils.

24 М ужи твои падут от меча, и храбрые твои--на войне.

And it shall come to pass that instead of the sweet odor of spices there shall be the stench of rottenness; and instead of a girdle, a rope; and instead of well-set hair, baldness; and instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; and searing instead of beauty.

25 И будут воздыхать и плакать ворота,

Your men shall fall by the sword, and your mighty men in battle.

26 и будет она сидеть на земле опустошенная.

And gates shall lament and mourn; and she, being ruined and desolate, shall sit upon the ground.
