For the divisions of the gatekeepers: Of the Korahites was: Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

2 С ыновья Мешелемии: первенец Захария, второй Иедиаил, третий Зевадия, четвертый Иафниил,

And Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

3 п ятый Елам, шестой Иегоханан, седьмой Елиегоэнай.

Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.

4 С ыновья Овед-Едома: первенец Шемаия, второй Иегозавад, третий Иоах, четвертый Сахар, пятый Нафанаил,

Obed-edom had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sacar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,

5 ш естой Аммиил, седьмой Иссахар, восьмой Пеульфай, потому что Бог благословил его.

Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth; for God blessed him.

6 У сына его Шемаии родились также сыновья, начальствовавшие в своем роде, потому что они были люди сильные.

Also to Shemaiah his son were sons born, who were rulers in their fathers’ houses, for they were mighty men of ability and courage.

7 С ыновья Шемаии: Офни, Рефаил, Овед и Елзавад, братья его, люди сильные, Елия, Семахия.

The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad, whose brethren were strong and able men, Elihu and Semachiah.

8 В се они из сыновей Овед-Едома; они и сыновья их, и братья их были люди прилежные и к службе способные: их было у Овед-Едома шестьдесят два.

All these were sons of Obed-edom, with their sons and brethren, strong and able men for the service—sixty-two in all.

9 У Мешелемии сыновей и братьев, людей способных, восемнадцать.

Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong and able men—eighteen in all.

10 У Хосы, из сыновей Мерариных, сыновья: Шимри главный, --хотя он не был первенцем, но отец его поставил его главным;

Also Hosah, of the sons of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief (he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him chief),

11 в торой Хелкия, третий Тевалия, четвертый Захария; всех сыновей и братьев у Хосы было тринадцать.

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen in all.

12 В от распределение привратников по главам семейств, способных на службу вместе с братьями их, для служения в доме Господнем.

Of these were the divisions of the gatekeepers, even of the chief men, having duties, as did their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.

13 И бросили они жребии, как малый, так и большой, по своим семействам, на каждые ворота.

And they cast lots by fathers’ houses, small and great alike, for every gate.

14 И выпал жребий на восток Шелемии; и Захарии, сыну его, умному советнику, бросили жребий, и вышел ему жребий на север;

The lot for the east fell to Shelemiah. They cast lots also for Zechariah his son, a wise counselor, and his lot came out for the north.

15 О вед-Едому на юг, а сыновьям его при кладовых.

To Obed-edom it came out for the south, and to his sons the storehouse was allotted.

16 Ш упиму и Хосе на запад, у ворот Шаллехет, где дорога поднимается и где стража против стражи.

To Shuppim and Hosah the lot fell for the west, by the refuse gate that goes into the ascending highway, post opposite post.

17 К востоку по шести левитов, к северу по четыре, к югу по четыре, а у кладовых по два.

On the east were six Levites, on the north four a day, on the south four a day, and two by two at the storehouse.

18 К западу у притвора на дороге по четыре, а у самого притвора по два.

At the colonnade on the west side, there were four at the road and two at the colonnade.

19 В от распределение привратников из сыновей Кореевых и сыновей Мерариных.

These were the divisions of the gatekeepers among the Korahites and the sons of Merari.

20 Л евиты же, братья их, за сокровищами дома Божия и за сокровищницами посвященных вещей.

Of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries of the dedicated gifts.

21 С ыновья Лаедана, сына Герсонова--от Лаедана, главы семейств от Лаедана Герсонского: Иехиел.

The sons of Ladan, the descendants of Gershon through Ladan, the heads of families of Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli,

22 С ыновья Иехиела: Зефам и Иоиль, брат его, за сокровищами дома Господня,

The sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother, who were over the treasuries of the house of the Lord.

23 в месте с потомками Амрама, Ицгара, Хеврона, Озиила.

Of the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites, and Uzzielites:

24 Ш евуил, сын Гирсона, сына Моисеева, главным смотрителем за сокровищницами.

Shebuel son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler over the treasuries.

25 У брата его Елиезера сын Рехавия, у него сын Исаия, у него сын Иорам, у него сын Зихрий, у него сын Шеломиф.

His brethren from Eliezer were his son Rehabiah, his son Jeshaiah, his son Joram, his son Zichri, and his son Shelomoth.

26 Ш еломиф и братья его за всеми сокровищницами посвященных вещей, которые посвятил царь Давид и главы семейств и тысяченачальники, стоначальники и предводители войска.

This Shelomoth and his brethren were over all the treasuries of the dedicated gifts, which King David, the heads of the fathers’ houses, the officers over thousands and hundreds, and the commanders of the army had dedicated.

27 И з завоеваний и из добыч они посвящали на поддержание дома Господня.

From spoil won in battles they dedicated gifts to maintain the house of the Lord.

28 И все, что посвятил Самуил пророк, и Саул, сын Киса, и Авенир, сын Нира, и Иоав, сын Саруи, все посвященное на руках у Шеломифа и братьев его.

Also all that Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah had dedicated, and whatever anyone had dedicated, it was in the charge of Shelomoth and his brethren.

29 И з племени Ицгарова: Хенания и сыновья его на внешнее служение у Израильтян, писцами и судьями.

Of the Izharites: Chenaniah and his sons were appointed to outside duties for Israel, as officers and judges.

30 И з племени Хевронова: Хашавия и братья его, люди мужественные, тысяча семьсот, имели надзор над Израилем по эту сторону Иордана к западу, по всяким делам Господня и по службе царской.

Of the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his brethren, men of courage and ability, 1, 700 in all, were officers over Israel on the west side of the Jordan in all the Lord’s business and the king’s service.

31 У племени Хевронова Иерия главою Хевронян, в их родах, в поколениях. В сороковой год царствования Давида они исчислены, и найдены между ними люди мужественные в Иазере Галаадском.

Of the Hebronites: Jerijah was the chief, according to their generations by fathers’ houses. In the fortieth year of David’s reign a search was made, and men of great courage and ability were found among them at Jazer in Gilead.

32 И братья его, люди способные, две тысячи семьсот, были главы семейств. Их поставил царь Давид над коленом Рувимовым и Гадовым и полуколеном Манассииным, по всем делам Божиим и делам царя.

Jerijah’s kinsmen, men of courage and ability, were 2, 700 heads of fathers’ houses; King David made them overseers of the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, for everything pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.
