1 И было ко мне слово Господне в девятом году, в десятом месяце, в десятый день месяца:

Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

2 с ын человеческий! запиши себе имя этого дня, этого самого дня: в этот самый день царь Вавилонский подступит к Иерусалиму.

Son of man, record the name of the day, even of this same day; the king of Babylon set himself against and assailed Jerusalem this same day.

3 И произнеси на мятежный дом притчу, и скажи им: так говорит Господь Бог: поставь котел, поставь и налей в него воды;

And utter a parable against the rebellious house and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Put on a pot; put it on and also pour water into it.

4 с ложи в него куски мяса, все лучшие куски, бедра и плеча, и наполни отборными костями;

Put into it the pieces, all the good pieces, the thigh and the shoulder; fill it with the choice of the bones.

5 о тборных овец возьми, и под ним кости, и кипяти до того, чтобы и кости разварились в нем.

Take the choicest of the flock and burn also the unused bones under it, and make it boil well and seethe its bones in.

6 П осему так говорит Господь Бог: горе городу кровей! горе котлу, в котором есть накипь и с которого накипь его не сходит! кусок за куском его выбрасывайте из него, не выбирая по жребию.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose rust and scum are in it and whose rust and scum have not gone out of it! Take out of it piece by piece, without making any choice.

7 И бо кровь его среди него; он оставил ее на голой скале; не на землю проливал ее, где она могла бы покрыться пылью.

For the blood she has shed remains in the midst of her; she put it upon the bare rock; she did not pour it on the ground to cover it with dust.

8 Ч тобы возбудить гнев для совершения мщения, Я оставил кровь его на голой скале, чтобы она не скрылась.

That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have put her blood upon the bare rock, that it would not be covered.

9 П осему так говорит Господь Бог: горе городу кровей! и Я разложу большой костер.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Woe to the bloodguilty city! Also I will make the pile great.

10 П рибавь дров, разведи огонь, вывари мясо; пусть все сгустится, и кости перегорят.

Heap on wood, kindle the fire and make it hot, boil well the meat and mix the spices, pour out the broth when thick, and let the bones be burned up.

11 И когда котел будет пуст, поставь его на уголья, чтобы он разгорелся, и чтобы медь его раскалилась, и расплавилась в нем нечистота его, и вся накипь его исчезла.

Then set back empty upon the coals, that the bronze of it may be hot and may glow and the filthiness of it may be melted in it and the rust and scum of it may be consumed.

12 Т руд будет тяжелый; но большая накипь его не сойдет с него; и в огне на нем накипь его.

She has wearied herself and Me with toil; yet her great rust and scum go not forth out of her, for however hotly the fire burns, her thick rust and filth will not go out of her by fire.

13 В нечистоте твоей такая мерзость, что, сколько Я ни чищу тебя, ты все нечист; от нечистоты твоей ты и впредь не очистишься, доколе ярости Моей Я не утолю над тобою.

In your filthiness is abomination; because I would have cleansed you and you were not cleansed, you shall not be cleansed from your filthiness any more until I have satisfied My wrath against and upon you.

14 Я Господь, Я говорю: это придет и Я сделаю; не отменю и не пощажу, и не помилую. По путям твоим и по делам твоим будут судить тебя, говорит Господь Бог.

I the Lord have spoken it; it shall come to pass and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I relent; according to your ways and according to your doings shall they judge and punish you, says the Lord God.

15 И было ко мне слово Господне:

Also the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

16 с ын человеческий! вот, Я возьму у тебя язвою утеху очей твоих; но ты не сетуй и не плачь, и слезы да не выступают у тебя;

Son of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes at a single stroke. Yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears flow.

17 в здыхай в безмолвии, плача по умершим не совершай; но обвязывай себя повязкою и обувай ноги твои в обувь твою, и бороды не закрывай, и хлеба от чужих не ешь.

Sigh and groan, but not aloud; make no mourning for the dead; bind your turban upon your head and put your shoes on your feet, and do not cover your beard or eat the bread of mourners.

18 И после того, как говорил я поутру слово к народу, вечером умерла жена моя, и на другой день я сделал так, как повелено было мне.

So I spoke to the people in the morning and in the evening my wife died, and I did the next morning as I was commanded.

19 И сказал мне народ: не скажешь ли нам, какое для нас значение в том, что ты делаешь?

And the people said to me, Will you not tell us what these things are supposed to mean to us, that you are acting as you do?

20 И сказал я им: ко мне было слово Господне:

Then I answered them, The word of the Lord came to me, saying,

21 с кажи дому Израилеву: так говорит Господь Бог: вот, Я отдам на поругание святилище Мое, опору силы вашей, утеху очей ваших и отраду души вашей, а сыновья ваши и дочери ваши, которых вы оставили, падут от меча.

Speak to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will profane My sanctuary— pride as your strength, the desire of your eyes, and the pity and sympathy of your soul; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind shall fall by the sword.

22 И вы будете делать то же, что делал я; бороды не будете закрывать, и хлеба от чужих не будете есть;

And you shall do as I have done; you shall not cover your beard nor eat the bread of mourning,

23 и повязки ваши будут на головах ваших, и обувь ваша на ногах ваших; не будете сетовать и плакать, но будете истаявать от грехов ваших и воздыхать друг перед другом.

And your turbans shall be upon your heads and your shoes upon your feet; you shall not mourn or weep, but you shall pine away for your iniquities (your guilt) and sigh and groan to one another.

24 И будет для вас Иезекииль знамением: все, что он делал, и вы будете делать; и когда это сбудется, узнаете, что Я Господь Бог.

Thus Ezekiel is to you a sign; according to all that he has done you shall do. And when this comes, you shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord God.

25 А что до тебя, сын человеческий, то в тот день, когда Я возьму у них украшение славы их, утеху очей их и отраду души их, сыновей их и дочерей их, --

And you, son of man, on the day when I take from them their strength and their stronghold, their joy and their glory, the delight of their eyes and their hearts’ chief desire, and also their sons and their daughters—

26 в тот день придет к тебе спасшийся, чтобы подать весть в уши твои.

On that day an escaped fugitive shall come to you to cause you to hear of it with your own ears.

27 В тот день при этом спасшемся откроются уста твои, и ты будешь говорить, и не останешься уже безмолвным, и будешь знамением для них, и узнают, что Я Господь.

In that day your mouth shall be open to him who has escaped, and you shall speak and be no more speechless, and you shall be a sign to them and they shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord.
