1 И я не мог говорить с вами, братия, как с духовными, но как с плотскими, как с младенцами во Христе.

However, brethren, I could not talk to you as to spiritual, but as to nonspiritual, as to mere infants in Christ '> unable to talk yet!]

2 Я питал вас молоком, а не пищею, ибо вы были еще не в силах, да и теперь не в силах,

I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not yet strong enough; but even yet you are not strong enough,

3 п отому что вы еще плотские. Ибо если между вами зависть, споры и разногласия, то не плотские ли вы? и не по человеческому ли поступаете?

For you are still of the flesh. For as long as envying and jealousy and wrangling and factions among you, are you not unspiritual and of the flesh, behaving yourselves after a human standard and like mere (unchanged) men?

4 И бо когда один говорит: 'я Павлов', а другой: 'я Аполлосов', то не плотские ли вы?

For when one says, I belong to Paul, and another, I belong to Apollos, are you not ordinary (unchanged) men?

5 К то Павел? кто Аполлос? Они только служители, через которых вы уверовали, и притом поскольку каждому дал Господь.

What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Ministering servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord appointed to each his task:

6 Я насадил, Аполлос поливал, но возрастил Бог;

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was making it grow and gave the increase.

7 п осему и насаждающий и поливающий есть ничто, а Бог возращающий.

So neither he who plants is anything nor he who waters, but God Who makes it grow and become greater.

8 Н асаждающий же и поливающий суть одно; но каждый получит свою награду по своему труду.

He who plants and he who waters are equal (one in aim, of the same importance and esteem), yet each shall receive his own reward (wages), according to his own labor.

9 И бо мы соработники у Бога, вы Божия нива, Божие строение.

For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, laborers together) with and for God; you are God’s garden and vineyard and field under cultivation, God’s building.

10 Я , по данной мне от Бога благодати, как мудрый строитель, положил основание, а другой строит на; но каждый смотри, как строит.

According to the grace (the special endowment for my task) of God bestowed on me, like a skillful architect and master builder I laid foundation, and now another is building upon it. But let each be careful how he builds upon it,

11 И бо никто не может положить другого основания, кроме положенного, которое есть Иисус Христос.

For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

12 С троит ли кто на этом основании из золота, серебра, драгоценных камней, дерева, сена, соломы, --

But if anyone builds upon the Foundation, whether it be with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,

13 к аждого дело обнаружится; ибо день покажет, потому что в огне открывается, и огонь испытает дело каждого, каково оно есть.

The work of each will become known (shown for what it is); for the day will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done.

14 У кого дело, которое он строил, устоит, тот получит награду.

If the work which any person has built on this Foundation survives, he will get his reward.

15 А у кого дело сгорит, тот потерпит урон; впрочем сам спасется, но так, как бы из огня.

But if any person’s work is burned up, he will suffer the loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

16 Р азве не знаете, что вы храм Божий, и Дух Божий живет в вас?

Do you not discern and understand that you are God’s temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you '> collectively as a church and also individually]?

17 Е сли кто разорит храм Божий, того покарает Бог: ибо храм Божий свят; а этот --вы.

If anyone does hurt to God’s temple or corrupts it '> with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that you '> the believing church and its individual believers] are.

18 Н икто не обольщай самого себя. Если кто из вас думает быть мудрым в веке сем, тот будь безумным, чтобы быть мудрым.

Let no person deceive himself. If anyone among you supposes that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

19 И бо мудрость мира сего есть безумие пред Богом, как написано: уловляет мудрых в лукавстве их.

For this world’s wisdom is foolishness (absurdity and stupidity) with God, for it is written, He lays hold of the wise in their craftiness;

20 И еще: Господь знает умствования мудрецов, что они суетны.

And again, The Lord knows the thoughts and reasonings of the wise and recognizes how futile they are.

21 И так никто не хвались человеками, ибо все ваше:

So let no one exult proudly concerning men, for all things are yours,

22 П авел ли, или Аполлос, или Кифа, или мир, или жизнь, или смерть, или настоящее, или будущее, --все ваше;

Whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas (Peter), or the universe or life or death, or the immediate and threatening present or the future—all are yours,

23 в ы же--Христовы, а Христос--Божий.

And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
