For the divisions of the gatekeepers: Of the Korahites was: Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

2 А Меселемиеви синове бяха: Захария, първородният; Едиил, вторият; Зевадия, третият; Ятниил, четвъртият;

And Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

3 Е лам, петият; Йоанан, шестият; и Елиоинай, седмият.

Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.

4 И Овид-едомови синове: Семая, първородният; Йозавад, вторият; Йоах, третият; Сахар, четвъртият; Натанаил, петият;

Obed-edom had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sacar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,

5 А миил, шестият; Исахар, седмият; и Феулатай, осмият; защото Бог го благослови.

Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth; for God blessed him.

6 А на сина му Семая се родиха синове, които властваха над бащиния си дом, защото бяха силни и храбри мъже.

Also to Shemaiah his son were sons born, who were rulers in their fathers’ houses, for they were mighty men of ability and courage.

7 С емаевите синове бяха: Офний, Рафаил, Овид, Елзавад, чиито братя Елиу и Семахия бяха храбри мъже.

The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad, whose brethren were strong and able men, Elihu and Semachiah.

8 В сички тези от Овид-едомовите потомци, те, синовете им и братята им от Овид-едом, силни и способни за службата, бяха шестдесет и двама души.

All these were sons of Obed-edom, with their sons and brethren, strong and able men for the service—sixty-two in all.

9 А Меселемия имаше осемнадесет храбри синове и братя.

Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong and able men—eighteen in all.

10 А синовете на Оса от Мерариевите потомци бяха: Симрий, първият (защото, ако и да не беше първороден, пак баща му го направи пръв);

Also Hosah, of the sons of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief (he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him chief),

11 Х елкия, вторият; Тевалия, третият; и Захария, четвъртият. Всичките синове и братя на Оса бяха тринадесет души.

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen in all.

12 О т тях бяха образувани отрядите на вратарите, т. е. на главните мъже, имащи поръчения наравно с братята си да служат в Господния дом.

Of these were the divisions of the gatekeepers, even of the chief men, having duties, as did their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.

13 И за всяка порта хвърлиха жребий, малък и голям, еднакво според бащините си домове.

And they cast lots by fathers’ houses, small and great alike, for every gate.

14 Ж ребият за Селемия падна към изток. Тогава хвърлиха жребий за сина му Захария, мъдър съветник; на него жребият излезе към север;

The lot for the east fell to Shelemiah. They cast lots also for Zechariah his son, a wise counselor, and his lot came out for the north.

15 з а Овид-едом към юг, а за синовете му - дарохранителницата;

To Obed-edom it came out for the south, and to his sons the storehouse was allotted.

16 з а Суфима и Оса към запад, с портата Салехет, при пътя, който върви нагоре, стража срещу стража.

To Shuppim and Hosah the lot fell for the west, by the refuse gate that goes into the ascending highway, post opposite post.

17 К ъм изток бяха шестима левити, към север - четирима на ден, към юг - четирима на ден, и към дарохранителницата - по двама;

On the east were six Levites, on the north four a day, on the south four a day, and two by two at the storehouse.

18 в Парвар към запад, четирима към пътя, който върви нагоре, и двама в Парвар.

At the colonnade on the west side, there were four at the road and two at the colonnade.

19 Т ези бяха отрядите на вратарите между Кореевите потомци и Мерариевите потомци.

These were the divisions of the gatekeepers among the Korahites and the sons of Merari.

20 А от левитите Ахия беше над съкровищата на Божия дом и над съкровищата на посветените неща.

Of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries of the dedicated gifts.

21 Л аданови синове: синовете на гирсонеца Ладан, началници на бащините домове на гирсонеца Ладан, бяха Ехиил

The sons of Ladan, the descendants of Gershon through Ladan, the heads of families of Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli,

22 и Ехииловите синове - Зетан и брат му Йоил, които бяха над съкровищата на Господния дом.

The sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother, who were over the treasuries of the house of the Lord.

23 О т Амрамовите синове, Исааровите синове, Хевроновите синове и Озииловите синове,

Of the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites, and Uzzielites:

24 С уваил, син на Гирсам, Моисеевия син, беше надзирател над съкровищата.

Shebuel son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler over the treasuries.

25 А братята му от Елиезер, чийто син беше Равия, а негов син Исая, негов син Йорам, негов син Зехрий, а негов син Селомит;

His brethren from Eliezer were his son Rehabiah, his son Jeshaiah, his son Joram, his son Zichri, and his son Shelomoth.

26 т ози Селомит и братята му бяха над всичките съкровища на посветените неща, които посветиха цар Давид, първенците на бащините домове, хилядниците, стотниците и военачалниците.

This Shelomoth and his brethren were over all the treasuries of the dedicated gifts, which King David, the heads of the fathers’ houses, the officers over thousands and hundreds, and the commanders of the army had dedicated.

27 О т плячката, вземана в боевете, бяха посветили за построяването на Господния дом.

From spoil won in battles they dedicated gifts to maintain the house of the Lord.

28 С ъщо и всичко, каквото бяха посветили ясновидецът Самуил, Саул, Кисовият син, Авенир, Нировият син, и Йоав, Саруииният син - всичко, посветено от когото и да било, - беше под ръката на Селомит и братята му.

Also all that Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah had dedicated, and whatever anyone had dedicated, it was in the charge of Shelomoth and his brethren.

29 О т Исааровите синове: Ханания и синовете му бяха надзиратели и съдии над Израел за външните дела.

Of the Izharites: Chenaniah and his sons were appointed to outside duties for Israel, as officers and judges.

30 О т Хевроновите синове: Асавий и братята му, хиляда и седемстотин храбри мъже, бяха надзиратели над Израел отсам Йордан, на запад, за всичките Господни дела и за слугуването на царя.

Of the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his brethren, men of courage and ability, 1, 700 in all, were officers over Israel on the west side of the Jordan in all the Lord’s business and the king’s service.

31 М ежду Хевроновите синове Ерия беше началник, между Хевроновите синове според поколенията им, според бащините им домове. В четиридесетата година на Давидовото царуване те бяха прегледани и между тях се намериха силни и храбри мъже в Язир Галаад.

Of the Hebronites: Jerijah was the chief, according to their generations by fathers’ houses. In the fortieth year of David’s reign a search was made, and men of great courage and ability were found among them at Jazer in Gilead.

32 И братята му, храбри мъже, бяха две хиляди и седемстотин началници на бащини домове, които цар Давид постави над Рувимовите синове, Гадовите синове и половината Манасиево племе за всяко Божие дело и за царските работи.

Jerijah’s kinsmen, men of courage and ability, were 2, 700 heads of fathers’ houses; King David made them overseers of the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, for everything pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.
