1 К ой е Този, Който идва от Едом с боядисани в червено дрехи от Восора, Този, славен в облеклото Си, Който ходи във величието на силата Си? Аз съм, Който говоря с правда, мощен да спасявам.

Who is this Who comes from Edom, with crimson-stained garments from Bozrah ? This One Who is glorious in His apparel, striding triumphantly in the greatness of His might? It is I, Who speaks in righteousness, mighty to save!

2 З ащо е червено облеклото Ти и дрехите Ти са подобни на онези на човек, който тъпче в лин?

Why is Your apparel splashed with red, and Your garments like the one who treads in the winepress?

3 А з сам изтъпках лина и от племената не беше с Мене нито един човек. Да! Стъпках ги в гнева Си и ги смазах в яростта Си, така че кръвта им изпръска дрехите Ми и изцапах цялото Си облекло.

I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples there was no one with Me. I trod them in My anger and trampled them in My wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I stained all My raiment.

4 З ащото денят за въздаянието беше в сърцето Ми и годината Ми за изкупване настана.

For the day of vengeance was in My heart, and My year of redemption has come.

5 А з разгледах, но нямаше кой да помага, и се зачудих, че нямаше кой да подкрепя; затова Моята мишца Ми изработи спасение и Моята ярост - тя Ме подкрепи.

And I looked, but there was no one to help; I was amazed and appalled that there was no one to uphold. So My own arm brought Me victory, and My wrath upheld Me.

6 А з стъпках племената в гнева Си, опих ги с яростта Си и излях кръвта им в земята.

I trod down the peoples in My anger and made them drink of the cup of My wrath until they were intoxicated, and I spilled their lifeblood upon the earth.

7 Щ е спомена милосърдията Господни, причините за хвалене на Господа за всичко, което ни е подарил Господ, и за голямата благост към Израелевия дом, която им показа според щедростите Си и според премногото Си милости.

I will recount the loving-kindnesses of the Lord and the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel, which He has granted them according to His mercy and according to the multitude of His loving-kindnesses.

8 З ащото каза: Наистина те са Мой народ, деца, които няма да постъпят невярно; така им стана Спасител.

For He said, Surely they are My people, sons who will not lie; and so He was to them a Savior.

9 В ъв всичките им скърби Той скърбеше и ангелът на присъствието Му ги избави; поради любовта Си и милосърдието Си Той сам ги изкупи, вдигна ги и ги носи през всички древни дни.

In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

10 Н о те се разбунтуваха и оскърбиха Святия Негов Дух; затова Той се обърна и им стана неприятел, и сам воюва против тях.

But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; therefore He turned to become their enemy and Himself fought against them.

11 Т огава народът Му си спомни за старите Моисееви времена и казваха: Къде е Онзи, Който ги изведе от морето чрез пастирите на стадото Си? Къде е онзи, който положи Святия Си Дух сред тях?

Then His people remembered the days of old, of Moses and his people, Where is He Who brought up out of the Sea, with shepherds of His flock? Where is He Who put His Holy Spirit within their midst,

12 К ойто направи славната Си мишца да върви до Моисеевата десница? Който раздели водата пред тях, за да си придобие вечно име?

Who caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, dividing the waters before them, to make for Himself an everlasting name,

13 К ойто ги водѝ през бездната, като кон през пасбище, без да се препънат?

Who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they did not stumble?

14 Д ухът Господен ги успокои като добитъка, който слиза в долината; така си водил народа Си, за да си придобиеш славно име. Молитва за милост и помощ

Like the cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of the Lord caused them to rest. So did You lead Your people to make for Yourself a beautiful and glorious name.

15 П огледни от небесата и виж от святото Си и славно обиталище, къде са ревността Ти и могъщите Ти дела? Твоите милосърдие и щедрости не достигат до мене.

Look down from heaven and see from the dwelling place of Your holiness and Your glory. Where are Your zeal and Your jealousy and Your mighty acts ? Your yearning pity and the compassions of Your heart are restrained and withheld from me.

16 З ащото Ти си наш Отец, ако и да не ни знае Авраам и да не ни признае Израел; Ти, Господи, си наш Отец; Твоето име е наш вечен Изкупител.

For You are our Father, even though Abraham does not know us and Israel (Jacob) does not acknowledge us; You, O Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from everlasting is Your name.

17 З ащо си допуснал, Господи, да се отклоняваме от пътищата Ти, да ожесточаваме сърцата си, за да не се боим от Тебе? Върни се заради слугите Си - племената на Твоето наследство.

O Lord, why have You made us to err from Your ways and hardened our hearts to fear of You? Return for Your servants’ sake, the tribes of Your heritage.

18 М алко време го владя Твоят свят народ; противниците ни потъпкаха светилището Ти.

Your holy people possessed Your sanctuary but a little while; our adversaries have trodden it down.

19 Н ие сме станали като онези, над които Ти никога не си владял, като онези, които не са били наричани с името Ти.

We have become like those over whom You never exercised rule, like those who were not called by Your name.
