1 ( По слав. 70.) На Тебе, Господи, уповавам; да не се посрамя никога.

In You, O Lord, do I put my trust and confidently take refuge; let me never be put to shame or confusion!

2 И збави ме в правдата Си и ме освободи; приклони към мен ухото Си и ме спаси.

Deliver me in Your righteousness and cause me to escape; bow down Your ear to me and save me!

3 Б ъди ми канара за прибежище, към което винаги да се обръщам. Ти си разрешил спасението ми, защото канара моя и крепост моя си Ти.

Be to me a rock of refuge in which to dwell, and a sheltering stronghold to which I may continually resort, which You have appointed to save me, for You are my Rock and my Fortress.

4 Б оже мой, избави ме от ръката на нечестивия, от ръката на законопрестъпника и насилника.

Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the unrighteous and ruthless man.

5 З ащото Ти, Господи Йехова, си моя надежда; на Тебе съм уповавал от младостта си.

For You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my trust from my youth and the source of my confidence.

6 Т и си ми бил опора от рождението ми; от утробата на майка ми Ти си бил мой благодетел; за Тебе ще бъде винаги хвалението ми.

Upon You have I leaned and relied from birth; You are He Who took me from my mother’s womb and You have been my benefactor from that day. My praise is continually of You.

7 К ато чудовище съм станал за мнозина; но Ти си ми сигурно прибежище.

I am as a wonder and surprise to many, but You are my strong refuge.

8 У стата ми ще се пълнят всеки ден с хваление и славене към Тебе.

My mouth shall be filled with Your praise and with Your honor all the day.

9 Н е ме отхвърляй по време на старостта ми; не ме оставяй, когато отпада силата ми;

Cast me not off nor send me away in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent and my powers fail.

10 з ащото неприятелите ми за мене говорят и онези, които причакват душата ми, се наговарят помежду си

For my enemies talk against me; those who watch for my life consult together,

11 и казват: Бог го е изоставил; погнете го и го хванете, защото няма кой да го избави.

Saying, God has forsaken him; pursue and persecute and take him, for there is none to deliver him.

12 Б оже, не се отдалечавай от мене; Боже мой, побързай да ми помогнеш.

O God, be not far from me! O my God, make haste to help me!

13 Н ека се посрамят и бъдат изтребени противниците на душата ми; нека се покрият с укор и срам онези, които искат зло за мене.

Let them be put to shame and consumed who are adversaries to my life; let them be covered with reproach, scorn, and dishonor who seek and require my hurt.

14 Н о аз винаги ще се надявам и ще Те хваля все повече и повече.

But I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.

15 У стата ми цял ден ще разказва за правдата Ти и избавлението, което ми вършиш, защото не мога да ги изброя.

My mouth shall tell of Your righteous acts and of Your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is more than I know.

16 Щ е дойда и ще хваля великите дела на Господа Йехова. Ще спомням Твоята правда, само Твоята.

I will come in the strength and with the mighty acts of the Lord God; I will mention and praise Your righteousness, even Yours alone.

17 Б оже, Ти си ме научил от младостта ми; и досега съм разгласявал Твоите чудесни дела.

O God, You have taught me from my youth, and hitherto have I declared Your wondrous works.

18 Д а! Дори до старост и бели коси, Боже, не ме оставяй, докато не разглася силата Ти на бъдещия род, Твоята мощ - на всички бъдещи поколения.

Yes, even when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not, until I have declared Your mighty strength to generation, and Your might and power to all that are to come.

19 С ъщо и правдата Ти, Боже, стигна нависоко. Ти, Боже, Който си извършил велики дела, кой е подобен на Тебе?

Your righteousness also, O God, is very high, You Who have done great things; O God, who is like You, or who is Your equal?

20 Т и, Който си ми показал много и тежки притеснения, пак ще ме съживиш и от дълбочините на земята пак ще ме извадиш.

You Who have shown us troubles great and sore will quicken us again and will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.

21 Щ е уголемиш величието ми и отново ще ме утешиш.

Increase my greatness (my honor) and turn and comfort me.

22 И аз, Боже мой, ще славословя с псалтир Теб и Твоята вярност; на Тебе, Святи Израелев, ще пея хваление с арфа,

I will also praise You with the harp, even Your truth and faithfulness, O my God; unto You will I sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

23 щ е се радват много устните ми, когато Те славословя, също и душата ми, която си изкупил.

My lips shall shout for joy when I sing praises to You, and my inner being, which You have redeemed.

24 Е зикът ми също така ще приказва за правдата Ти всеки ден, защото станаха за срам - защото се смутиха - онези, които искат зло за мене.

My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; for they are put to shame, for they are confounded, who seek and demand my hurt.
