1 К аза им една притча как трябва всякога да се молят и да не отслабват:

Also told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).

2 В един град имаше един съдия, който от Бога не се боеше и човека не зачиташе.

He said, In a certain city there was a judge who neither reverenced and feared God nor respected or considered man.

3 В същия град имаше и една вдовица, която идваше при него и му казваше: Отдай ми правото спрямо противника ми.

And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, Protect and defend and give me justice against my adversary.

4 Н о той за известно време не искаше. А после си каза: Въпреки че не се боя от Бога и човеците не зачитам,

And for a time he would not; but later he said to himself, Though I have neither reverence or fear for God nor respect or consideration for man,

5 п ак, понеже тази вдовица ми досажда, ще ѝ отдам правото, за да не ми дотяга с непрестанните си идвания.

Yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will defend and protect and avenge her, lest she give me intolerable annoyance and wear me out by her continual coming or at the last she come and rail on me or assault me or strangle me.

6 И Господ каза: Слушайте какво каза неправедният съдия!

Then the Lord said, Listen to what the unjust judge says!

7 А Бог няма ли да отдаде правото на Своите избрани, които викат към Него ден и нощ, ако и да се бави спрямо тях?

And will not God defend and protect and avenge His elect (His chosen ones), who cry to Him day and night? Will He defer them and delay help on their behalf?

8 К азвам ви, че ще им отдаде правото скоро. Обаче, когато дойде Човешкият Син, ще намери ли вяра на земята?

I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find '> persistence in] faith on the earth?

9 И на някои, които уповаваха на себе си, че са праведни, и презираха другите, каза и тази притча:

He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves and were confident that they were righteous and scorned and made nothing of all the rest of men:

10 Д вама души се изкачиха в храма да се помолят, единият - фарисей, а другият - бирник.

Two men went up into the temple '> enclosure] to pray, the one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.

11 Ф арисеят, като се изправи, молеше се в себе си така: Боже, благодаря Ти, че не съм като другите човеци - грабители, неправедници, прелюбодейци, и особено не като този бирник.

The Pharisee took his stand ostentatiously and began to pray thus before and with himself: God, I thank You that I am not like the rest of men—extortioners (robbers), swindlers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector here.

12 П остя два пъти в седмицата, давам десятък от всичко, което придобия.

I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I gain.

13 А бирникът, като стоеше надалеч, не смееше дори очите си да повдигне към небето, но се удряше в гърди и казваше: Боже, бъди милостив към мене, грешника.

But the tax collector, standing at a distance, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but kept striking his breast, saying, O God, be favorable (be gracious, be merciful) to me, the especially wicked sinner that I am!

14 К азвам ви, че този си отиде у дома оправдан, а не онзи; защото всеки, който въздига себе си, ще се снижи, а който смирява себе си, ще бъде въздигнат. Исус Христос благославя децата

I tell you, this man went down to his home justified (forgiven and made upright and in right standing with God), rather than the other man; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.

15 Д онесоха още при Него младенците си, за да се докосне до тях; а учениците, като видяха това, ги смъмриха.

Now they were also bringing babies to Him that He might touch them, and when the disciples noticed it, they reproved them.

16 Н о Исус ги повика и каза: Оставете дечицата да дойдат при Мен и не ги възпирайте; защото на такива е Божието царство.

But Jesus called them '> the parents] to Him, saying, Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

17 И стина ви казвам: Който не приеме като детенце Божието царство, той никак няма да влезе в него. За опасностите от богатството

Truly I say to you, whoever does not accept and receive and welcome the kingdom of God like a little child shall not in any way enter it.

18 И някой си началник Го попита: Благи Учителю, какво да направя, за да наследя вечен живот?

And a certain ruler asked Him, Good Teacher '> essentially and perfectly morally good], what shall I do to inherit eternal life ?

19 А Исус му отвърна: Защо Ме наричаш благ? Никой не е благ освен Един Бог.

Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me '> essentially and perfectly morally] good? No one is '> essentially and perfectly morally] good—except God only.

20 З наеш заповедите: "Не убивай"; "Не кради"; "Не лъжесвидетелствай"; "Почитай баща си и майка си".

You know the commandments: Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not witness falsely, honor your father and your mother.

21 А той каза: Всичко това съм опазил от младостта си.

And he replied, All these I have kept from my youth.

22 И сус, като го чу, му каза: Едно още не ти достига. Продай всичко, което имаш, и го раздай на сиромасите, и ще имаш съкровище на небето; и ела и Ме следвай.

And when Jesus heard it, He said to him, One thing you still lack. Sell everything that you have and divide among the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come back follow Me.

23 И той, като чу това, много се наскърби, защото беше твърде богат.

But when he heard this, he became distressed and very sorrowful, for he was rich—exceedingly so.

24 И Исус, като го видя, каза: Колко трудно ще влязат в Божието царство онези, които имат богатство!

Jesus, observing him, said, How difficult it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!

25 З ащото по-лесно е камила да мине през иглени уши, отколкото богат да влезе в Божието царство.

For it is easier for a camel to enter through a needle’s eye than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

26 А онези, които чуха това, казаха: Тогава кой може да се спаси?

And those who heard it said, Then who can be saved?

27 Т ой отговори: Невъзможното за човеците е възможно за Бога.

But He said, What is impossible with men is possible with God.

28 А Петър каза: Ето, ние оставихме своите домове и Те последвахме.

And Peter said, See, we have left our own and have followed You.

29 А Той им каза: Истина ви казвам, няма никой, който да е оставил къща или жена, или братя, или родители, или деца заради Божието царство,

And He said to them, I say to you truly, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God

30 к ойто да не получи многократно повече в настоящото време, а в идещия свят - вечен живот. Трето предсказание за страданията и възкресението

Who will not receive in return many times more in this world and, in the coming age, eternal life.

31 И като повика дванадесетте при Себе Си, им каза: Ето, изкачваме се към Йерусалим и всичко, което е писано чрез пророците за Човешкия Син, ще се изпълни.

Then taking the Twelve aside, He said to them, Listen! We are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written about the Son of Man through and by the prophets will be fulfilled.

32 З ащото ще бъде предаден на езичниците, които ще се подиграят с Него и безсрамно ще Го оскърбят, и ще Го заплюят,

For He will be handed over to the Gentiles and will be made sport of and scoffed and jeered at and insulted and spit upon.

33 и ще Го бият, и ще Го убият; и на третия ден ще възкръсне.

They will flog Him and kill Him; and on the third day He will rise again.

34 Н о те не разбираха нищо от това; и тези думи бяха скрити за тях и не разбираха това, което се казваше. Излекуването на слепия в Йерихон

But they understood nothing of these things; His words were a mystery and hidden from them, and they did not comprehend what He was telling them.

35 А когато Той се приближаваше до Йерихон, един слепец седеше край пътя да проси.

As He came near to Jericho, it occurred that a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging.

36 И като чу, че минава множество хора, попита какво е това.

And hearing a crowd going by, he asked what it meant.

37 К азаха му, че Исус Назарянинът минава.

They told him, Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.

38 Т огава той извика: Исусе, сине Давидов, смили се над мен!

And he shouted, saying, Jesus, Son of David, take pity and have mercy on me!

39 А тези, които вървяха отпред, го смъмриха да мълчи; но той още повече викаше: Сине Давидов, смили се над мен!

But those who were in front reproved him, telling him to keep quiet; yet he screamed and shrieked so much the more, Son of David, take pity and have mercy on me!

40 И така, Исус се спря и заповяда да Му го доведат. И като се приближи, го попита:

Then Jesus stood still and ordered that he be led to Him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him,

41 К акво искаш да направя за теб? А той каза: Господи, да прогледам.

What do you want Me to do for you? He said, Lord, let me receive my sight!

42 И сус му каза: Прогледай; твоята вяра те изцели.

And Jesus said to him, Receive your sight! Your faith ( your trust and confidence that spring from your faith in God) has healed you.

43 И той веднага прогледа и тръгна след Него, като славеше Бога. И всички хора, като видяха това, въздадоха хвала на Бога.

And instantly he received his sight and began to follow Jesus, recognizing, praising, and honoring God; and all the people, when they saw it, praised God.
