1 С лед това Исус ходеше из Галилея; Той не искаше да ходи из Юдея, понеже юдеите искаха да Го убият.

After this, Jesus went from place to place in Galilee, for He would not travel in Judea because the Jews were seeking to kill Him.

2 А наближаваше юдейският празник Шатроразпъване.

Now the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was drawing near.

3 З атова Неговите братя Му казаха: Замини оттук и иди в Юдея, така че и Твоите ученици да видят делата, които вършиш;

So His brothers said to Him, Leave here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples may also see the works that You do.

4 з ащото никой, който сам иска да бъде известен, не върши нищо скришно. Щом вършиш тези дела, изяви Себе Си на света.

For no one does anything in secret when he wishes to be conspicuous and secure publicity. If You do these things, show Yourself openly and make Yourself known to the world!

5 З ащото дори и братята Му не вярваха в Него.

For His brothers did not believe in or adhere to or trust in or rely on Him either.

6 А Исус им каза: Моето време още не е дошло, а вашето време винаги е готово. Исус Христос и Неговите братя

Whereupon Jesus said to them, My time (opportunity) has not come yet; but any time is suitable for you and your opportunity is ready any time.

7 В ас светът не може да мрази, а Мене мрази, защото Аз свидетелствам за него, че делата му са нечестиви.

The world cannot hate you, but it does hate Me because I denounce it for its wicked works and reveal that its doings are evil.

8 И дете вие на празника; Аз все още няма да отида на този празник, защото времето Ми още не се е изпълнило.

Go to the Feast yourselves. I am not going up to the Festival, because My time is not ripe.

9 И като им каза това, остана в Галилея. Исус Христос на празника Шатроразпъване в Йерусалим

Having said these things to them, He stayed behind in Galilee.

10 А когато братята Му бяха отишли на празника, тогава и Той отиде, не явно, а някак си тайно.

But afterward, when His brothers had gone up to the Feast, He went up also, not publicly, but by Himself quietly and as if He did not wish to be observed.

11 А юдеите Го търсиха на празника и разпитваха: Къде е Онзи?

Therefore the Jews kept looking for Him at the Feast and asking, Where can He be?

12 И за Него имаше голямо брожение сред народа; едни казваха: Добър човек е; други казваха: Не е, но заблуждава хората.

And there was among the mass of the people much whispered discussion and hot disputing about Him. Some were saying, He is good! Others said, No, He misleads and deceives the people!

13 О баче никой не говореше положително за Него поради страха от юдеите.

But no one dared speak out boldly about Him for fear of the Jews.

14 Н о когато празникът вече се преполовяваше, Исус се изкачи в храма и започна да поучава.

When the Feast was already half over, Jesus went up into the temple '> court] and began to teach.

15 З атова юдеите се чудеха и казваха: Как Този знае книга, като не се е учил?

The Jews were astonished. They said, How is it that this Man has learning when He has never studied?

16 Т огава Исус им отговори: Моето учение не е Мое, а на Онзи, Който Ме е пратил.

Jesus answered them by saying, My teaching is not My own, but His Who sent Me.

17 А ко някой иска да върши Неговата воля, ще познае дали учението е от Бога, или Аз от Себе Си говоря.

If any man desires to do His will (God’s pleasure), he will know (have the needed illumination to recognize, and can tell for himself) whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking from Myself and of My own accord and on My own authority.

18 К ойто говори от себе си, търси своята собствена прослава; а който търси славата на Онзи, Който Го е пратил, Той е истинен и в Него няма неправда.

He who speaks on his own authority seeks to win honor for himself. But He Who seeks the glory and is eager for the honor of Him Who sent Him, He is true; and there is no unrighteousness or falsehood or deception in Him.

19 Н е ви ли даде Моисей закона? Но все пак никой от вас не изпълнява закона. Защо искате да Ме убиете?

Did not Moses give you the Law? And yet not one of you keeps the Law. why do you seek to kill Me ?

20 Т ълпата отвърна: Бяс имаш. Кой иска да Те убие?

The crowd answered Him, You are possessed by a demon! Who seeks to kill You?

21 И сус им отговори: Едно дело извърших и всички се чудите на Мене поради него.

Jesus answered them, I did one work, and you all are astounded.

22 М оисей ви даде обрязването (не че е от Моисей, а от бащите); и в събота обрязвате човека.

Now Moses established circumcision among you—though it did not originate with Moses but with the previous patriarchs—and you circumcise a person on the Sabbath day.

23 А ко се обрязва човек в събота, за да не се наруши Моисеевият закон, на Мене ли се гневите за това, че цял човек направих здрав в събота?

If, to avoid breaking the Law of Moses, a person undergoes circumcision on the Sabbath day, have you any cause to be angry with (indignant with, bitter against) Me for making a man’s whole body well on the Sabbath?

24 Н е съдете по външността, но съдете справедливо.

Be honest in your judgment and do not decide at a glance (superficially and by appearances); but judge fairly and righteously.

25 Т огава някои от йерусалимците казаха: Не е ли Този човекът, Когото искат да убият?

Then some of the Jerusalem people said, Is not this the Man they seek to kill?

26 Е то, Той явно говори и нищо не Му казват. Да не би първенците всъщност да знаят, че Този е Христос?

And here He is speaking openly, and they say nothing to Him! Can it be possible that the rulers have discovered and know that this is truly the Christ?

27 О баче Този знаем откъде е; а когато дойде Христос, никой няма да знае откъде е.

No, we know where this Man comes from; when the Christ arrives, no one is to know from what place He comes.

28 З атова Исус, като поучаваше в храма, издигна глас и каза: И Мене познавате, и откъде съм знаете; и Аз от само Себе Си не съм дошъл, но истинен е Този, Който Ме е пратил, Когото вие не познавате.

Whereupon Jesus called out as He taught in the temple '> porches], Do you know Me, and do you know where I am from? I have not come on My own authority and of My own accord and as self-appointed, but the One Who sent Me is true (real, genuine, steadfast); and Him you do not know!

29 А з Го познавам, защото съм от Него и Той Ме е пратил.

I know Him because I come from His presence, and it was He Who sent Me.

30 И така, искаха да Го хванат; но никой не сложи ръка на Него, защото часът Му още не беше дошъл.

Therefore they were eager to arrest Him, but no one laid a hand on Him, for His hour (time) had not yet come.

31 О баче мнозина от народа повярваха в Него и казваха: Когато дойде Христос, нима ще извърши повече знамения от тези, които Този е извършил?

And besides, many of the multitude believed in Him. And they kept saying, When the Christ comes, will He do more miracles and produce more proofs and signs than what this Man has done?

32 Ф арисеите чуха, че така мълвял народът за Него; и главните свещеници и фарисеите пратиха служители да Го хванат.

The Pharisees learned how the people were saying these things about Him under their breath; and the chief priests and Pharisees sent attendants (guards) to arrest Him.

33 А Исус им каза: Още малко време съм с вас и тогава ще отида при Онзи, Който Ме е пратил.

Therefore Jesus said, For a little while I am with you, and then I go back to Him Who sent Me.

34 Щ е Ме търсите и няма да Ме намерите; и където съм Аз, вие не можете да дойдете.

You will look for Me, but you will not find Me; where I am, you cannot come.

35 Н а това юдеите казаха помежду си: Къде ще отиде Този, че няма да можем да Го намерим? Да не би да отиде при разпръснатите между гърците и да поучава гърците?

Then the Jews said among themselves, Where does this Man intend to go that we shall not find Him? Will He go to the Jews who are scattered in the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

36 К акво значат тези думи, които каза: Ще Ме търсите и няма да Ме намерите; и където съм Аз, вие не можете да дойдете? Исус Христос - Извор на живата вода

What does this statement of His mean, You will look for Me and not be able to find Me, and, Where I am, you cannot come?

37 А в последния ден, великия ден на празника, Исус застана, издигна глас и каза: Ако някой е жаден, нека дойде при Мен и да пие.

Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink!

38 А ко някой вярва в Мене, реки от жива вода ще потекат от утробата му, както казва Писанието.

He who believes in Me as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow springs and rivers of living water.

39 А това каза за Духа, Когото вярващите в Него щяха да приемат; защото Святият Дух още не бе даден, понеже Исус още не бе се прославил. Разделението сред народа относно Исус Христос

But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. For the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).

40 З атова някои от множеството, които чуха тези думи, казваха: Наистина Този е Пророкът.

Listening to those words, some of the multitude said, This is certainly and beyond doubt the Prophet!

41 Д руги казваха: Този е Христос. Някои пък се чудеха: Нима от Галилея ще дойде Христос?

Others said, This is the Christ (the Messiah, Anointed One)! But some said, What? Does the Christ come out of Galilee?

42 Н е казва ли Писанието, че Христос ще дойде от Давидовото потомство и от градчето Витлеем, където беше Давид?

Does not the Scripture tell us that the Christ will come from the offspring of David and from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?

43 И така възникна раздор между народа за Него.

So there arose a division and dissension among the people concerning Him.

44 И някои от тях искаха да Го хванат; но никой не сложи ръце на Него.

Some of them wanted to arrest Him, but no one laid hands on Him.

45 Т огава служителите дойдоха при главните свещеници и фарисеите; и те им казаха: Защо не Го доведохте?

Meanwhile the attendants (guards) had gone back to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, Why have you not brought Him here with you?

46 С лужителите отговориха: Никой не е говорил така, както Този Човек.

The attendants replied, Never has a man talked as this Man talks!

47 А фарисеите им отговориха: И вие ли сте заблудени?

The Pharisees said to them, Are you also deluded and led astray?

48 П овярвал ли е в Него някой от първенците или от фарисеите?

Has any of the authorities or of the Pharisees believed in Him?

49 Н о това простолюдие, което не знае закона, е проклето.

As for this multitude (rabble) that does not know the Law, they are contemptible and doomed and accursed!

50 Н икодим, който беше един от тях, същият, който по-рано беше ходил при Исус през нощта, им каза:

Then Nicodemus, who came to Jesus before at night and was one of them, asked,

51 Н ашият закон осъжда ли човек, преди да го изслуша и да разбере какво върши?

Does our Law convict a man without giving him a hearing and finding out what he has done?

52 Т е му отговориха: Да не си и ти от Галилея? Изследвай писаното и виж, че от Галилея пророк не се издига.

They answered him, Are you too from Galilee? Search, and you will see that no prophet comes (will rise to prominence) from Galilee.

53 И всеки отиде у дома си.

And they went, each to his own house.
