1 Д ори се чува, че между вас имало блудство, и то такова блудство, каквото не се споменава дори между езичниците, именно, че един от вас има бащината си жена.

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, impurity of a sort that is condemned and does not occur even among the heathen; for a man has father’s wife.

2 И вие сте се възгордели, вместо да скърбите, за да се отлъчи от вас този, който е направил това нещо.

And you are proud and arrogant! And you ought rather to mourn (bow in sorrow and in shame) until the person who has done this thing is removed from your fellowship and your midst!

3 З атова пък аз, ако и да не съм телесно при вас, но с духа си съм при вас и осъдих вече, в името на нашия Господ Исус, онзи, който е извършил това, като че ли съм при вас

As for my attitude, though I am absent in body, I am present in spirit, and I have already decided and passed judgment, as if actually present,

4 ( като се събра моят дух заедно с вас с властта на нашия Господ Исус),

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, on the man who has committed such a deed. When you and my own spirit are met together with the power of our Lord Jesus,

5 д а предадем такъв човек на Сатана за погубване на плътта му, за да се спаси духът му в деня на Господ Исус.

You are to deliver this man over to Satan for physical discipline, that spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

6 Х валбата ви не е добра. Не знаете ли, че малко квас заквасва цялото тесто?

your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven will ferment the whole lump ?

7 О чистете стария квас, за да бъдете ново тесто, тъй като сте безквасни; защото и Христос, нашата Пасха, беше заклан за нас.

Purge (clean out) the old leaven that you may be fresh (new) dough, still uncontaminated, for Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed.

8 З атова нека празнуваме - не със стар квас, нито с квас от злоба и нечестие, а с безквасни хлябове от искреност и истина.

Therefore, let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of vice and malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened of purity (nobility, honor) and sincerity and truth.

9 П исах ви в посланието си да не се събирате заедно с блудници,

I wrote you in my letter not to associate with unchaste (impure) people—

10 н е че съм искал да кажа за блудниците на този свят или за сребролюбците и грабителите, или за идолопоклонниците, понеже тогава би трябвало да излезете от света.

Not altogether shun the immoral people of this world, or the greedy graspers and cheats and thieves or idolaters, since otherwise you would need to get out of the world and human society altogether!

11 Н о в действителност ви писах да не се събирате с никого, който се нарича брат, ако е блудник или сребролюбец, или идолопоклонник, или грабител, с такъв даже да не ядете заедно.

But now I write to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is known to be guilty of immorality or greed, or is an idolater, or is a person with a foul tongue, or is a drunkard or a swindler or a robber. you must not so much as eat with such a person.

12 З ащото каква работа имам да съдя външните човеци ? Не съдите ли вие вътрешните,

What of mine is it and what right have I to judge outsiders? Is it not those inside upon whom you are to pass disciplinary judgment ?

13 д окато външните Бог съди? Отлъчете нечестивия човек отсред вас.

God alone sits in judgment on those who are outside. Drive out that wicked one from among you.
