1 П ак Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

The word of the Lord came again to me, saying,

2 С ине човешки, пророкувай и кажи: Така казва Господ Йехова: Ридайте - олеле за деня!

Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord God: Wail, Alas for the day!

3 З ащото е близо денят, дори е близо денят на Господа, облачен ден; ще бъде времето на езичниците.

For the day is near, even the day of the Lord is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time for the nations.

4 М еч ще дойде върху Египет и голямо мъчение ще настане в Етиопия, когато убитите паднат в Египет и когато откарат голямото му население и сринат основите му.

And a sword shall come upon Egypt, and anguish and great sorrow shall be in Ethiopia (Cush), when the slain fall in Egypt and they carry away her great mass of people and of things and her foundations are broken down.

5 Е тиопци, ливийци, лидийци и всички разноплеменни народи, Хув и жителите на съюзните земи ще паднат заедно с тях от меч.

Ethiopia (Cush) and Put, Lud and all the mingled people, Cub (Lub, Libya) and the children of the land of the covenant shall fall with by the sword.

6 Т ака казва Господ: Ще паднат и онези, които подпират Египет, и гордата му сила ще се сниши; от Мигдол до Сиина ще паднат в него от меч, казва Господ Йехова.

Thus says the Lord: They also who uphold or lean upon and are supported by Egypt shall fall, and the pride of her power shall come down; from Migdol to Syene they shall fall within her by the sword, says the Lord God.

7 И те ще запустеят между опустошените земи и градовете му ще бъдат между разорените градове.

And they shall be desolated in the midst of countries that are desolated, and her cities shall be in the midst of cities that are wasted.

8 И ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ, когато изпратя огън срещу Египет и бъдат смазани всички, които му помагат.

And they shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord, when I have set a fire in Egypt and all her helpers are broken and destroyed.

9 В онзи ден вестители ще излязат от Мене с кораби, за да стреснат безгрижните етиопци; и голямо мъчение ще ги нападне, както в деня на Египет; защото, ето, иде.

In that day shall messengers go forth from Me in ships to terrify the careless and unsuspecting Ethiopians, and there shall be anguish and great sorrow upon them as in the day of Egypt’s, for behold, comes!

10 Т ака казва Господ Йехова: При това Аз ще погубя голямото египетско население чрез ръката на вавилонския цар Навуходоносор.

Thus says the Lord God: I will also make the tumult and the wealth and the large population of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.

11 Т ой и народът му с него, страшните между народите, ще бъдат доведени, за да разорят земята; и ще изтеглят мечовете си против Египет и ще изпълнят земята с убити.

He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought in to destroy the land, and they shall draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain.

12 А з ще пресуша реките, ще предам земята в ръцете на зли хора; и ще запустя земята и всичко, което има в нея, чрез ръката на чужденци; Аз, Господ, го изрекох.

And I will make the streams dry and will sell the land into the hand of evil men, and I will make the land desolate, and all that is in it, by the hand of strangers. I the Lord have spoken it.

13 Т ака казва Господ Йехова: Ще погубя и кумирите и ще махна от Мемфис нищожните идоли; няма да има вече княз от Египетската земя и ще всея страх в Египетската земя.

Thus says the Lord God: I will also destroy the idols and I will put an end to the images in Noph or Memphis, and there shall be no longer a prince of the land of Egypt. And I will put fear in the land of Egypt.

14 А з ще запустя Патрос, ще запаля огън в Танис и ще извърша съд в Но.

And I will make Pathros desolate and will set fire to Zoan and will execute judgments and punishments upon No or Thebes.

15 Щ е излея яростта Си върху египетската крепост Син и ще изтребя голямото население на Но.

And I will pour My wrath upon Pelusium, the stronghold of Egypt, and I will cut off the tumult, the prosperity and the population of No or Thebes.

16 И ще запаля огън в Египет; Син ще бъде в голямо мъчение, Но ще бъде съкрушен и Мемфис ще има противници сред бял ден.

And I will set fire to Egypt; Pelusium shall have great anguish and No or Thebes shall be torn open and Noph or Memphis shall have adversaries in the daytime and all the day long.

17 М ладежите на Илиопол и Пивесет ще паднат от меч; а останалите ще отидат в плен.

The young men of Aven or On and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword, and the shall go into captivity.

18 В Тафнес денят ще се помрачи, когато строша там хомотите на Египет и гордата му сила ще престане в него; а него облак ще го покрие и дъщерите му ще отидат в плен.

At Tehaphnehes also the day shall withdraw itself and be dark when I break there the yokes and dominion of Egypt, and the pride of her power shall come to an end. As for her, a cloud shall cover her and her daughters shall go into captivity.

19 Т ака ще извърша съд над Египет; и ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ.

Thus will I execute judgments and punishments upon Egypt. Then shall they know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord.

20 А в единадесетата година, в първия месец, на седмия ден от месеца, Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

And in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

21 С ине човешки, строших мишцата на египетския цар фараона; и, ето, тя не е била превързана за церене или за да я обвият в превръзки, за да ѝ се даде сила да държи меч.

Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and behold, it has not been bound up to heal it by binding it with a bandage, to make it strong to hold and wield the sword.

22 З атова така казва Господ Йехова: Ето, Аз съм против египетския цар фараона и ще строша двете му мишци - и здравата, и онази, която вече беше строшена; и ще направя мечът да падне от ръката му.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt and will break his arms, both the strong one and the one which was broken, and I will cause the sword to fall from his hand.

23 И ще разсея египтяните между народите и ще ги разпръсна по страните.

And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and will disperse them throughout the countries.

24 Н о ще укрепя мишците на вавилонския цар и ще сложа меча Си в ръката му; а мишците на фараона ще строша и той ще охка пред него, както охка смъртно ранен човек.

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put My sword in his hand, but I will break Pharaoh’s arms and he will groan before with the groanings of a mortally wounded man.

25 О баче мишците на вавилонския цар ще засиля, а фараоновите мишци ще отпаднат; и ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ, когато сложа меча Си в ръката на вавилонския цар и той я простре върху Египетската земя.

But I will strengthen and hold up the arms of the king of Babylon and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down, and they shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord, when I put My sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.

26 И ще разсея египтяните между народите и ще ги разпръсна по страните; и те ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ.

And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them through the countries, and they shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord.
