1 Н ачалото на благовестието на Исус Христос, Божия Син;

The beginning of the good news (the Gospel) of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

2 к акто е писано в книгата на пророк Исая: "Ето, Аз изпращам пред лицето Ти вестителя Си, който ще устрои Твоя път;

Just as it is written in the prophet Isaiah: Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will make ready Your way—

3 г лас на един, който вика в пустинята: Пригответе пътя за Господа. Прави направете пътеките за Него."

A voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make His beaten tracks straight (level and passable)!

4 Й оан дойде, като кръщаваше в пустинята и проповядваше кръщение на покаяние за опрощаване на греховете.

John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness (desert), preaching a baptism '> obligating] repentance ( a change of one’s mind for the better, heartily amending one’s ways, with abhorrence of his past sins) in order to obtain forgiveness of and release from sins.

5 И излизаха при него цялата Юдейска страна и всички жители на Йерусалим и бяха кръщавани от него в реката Йордан, като изповядваха греховете си.

And there kept going out to him all the country of Judea and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, as they were confessing their sins.

6 А Йоан носеше облекло от камилска козина и кожен пояс около кръста си и се хранеше с акриди и див мед.

And John wore clothing woven of camel’s hair and had a leather girdle around his loins and ate locusts and wild honey.

7 И като проповядваше, казваше: След мене иде Онзи, Който е по-силен от мене, на Когото не съм достоен да се наведа и развържа ремъка на сандалите Му.

And he preached, saying, After me comes He Who is stronger (more powerful and more valiant) than I, the strap of Whose sandals I am not worthy or fit to stoop down and unloose.

8 А з ви кръщавам с вода, а Той ще ви кръсти със Святия Дух. Кръщението на Исус Христос и изкушението

I have baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

9 И в онези дни дойде Исус от Назарет Галилейски и бе кръстен от Йоан в Йордан.

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

10 С лед като излезе веднага от водата, видя, че се разтварят небесата и че Духът като гълъб слиза на Него.

And when He came up out of the water, at once he saw the heavens torn open and the Spirit like a dove coming down '> to enter] into Him.

11 И дойде глас от небесата: Ти си Моят възлюбен Син; в Теб е Моето благоволение.

And there came a voice out from within heaven, You are My Beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.

12 И веднага Духът Го закара в пустинята.

Immediately the Spirit drove Him out into the wilderness (desert),

13 Т ой беше в пустинята четиридесет дни, изкушаван от Сатана, и беше със зверовете; а ангелите Му служеха. Начало на служението на Исус Христос и призоваването на първите апостоли

And He stayed in the wilderness (desert) forty days, being tempted by Satan; and He was with the wild beasts, and the angels ministered to Him.

14 А след като Йоан бе предаден на властта, Исус дойде в Галилея и проповядваше Божието благовестие, като казваше:

Now after John was arrested and put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom of God,

15 В ремето се изпълни и Божието царство наближи; покайте се и повярвайте в благовестието.

And saying, The time is fulfilled (completed), and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ( have a change of mind which issues in regret for past sins and in change of conduct for the better) and believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to) the good news (the Gospel).

16 А когато минаваше край Галилейското езеро, видя Симон и брата на Симон Андрей, че хвърляха мрежи в езерото, понеже бяха рибари.

And passing along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net in the sea, for they were fishermen.

17 И сус им каза: Вървете след Мен и Аз ще ви направя ловци на човеци.

And Jesus said to them, Come after Me and be My disciples, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

18 И те веднага оставиха мрежите и отидоха след Него.

And at once they left their nets and '> yielding up all claim to them] followed Him '> joining Him as disciples and siding with His party].

19 К ато отмина малко, видя Яков Зеведеев и брат му Йоан, които също бяха в ладията си и кърпеха мрежите.

He went on a little farther and saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were in boat putting their nets in order.

20 И веднага ги повика; те оставиха баща си Зеведей в ладията с надничарите и отидоха след Него.

And immediately He called out to them, and '> abandoning all mutual claims] they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and went off after Him '> to be His disciples, side with His party, and follow Him].

21 И дойдоха в Капернаум. И още в първата събота Исус влезе в синагогата и поучаваше.

And they entered into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He went into the synagogue and began to teach.

22 А те се чудеха на учението Му; защото ги поучаваше като Един, Който има власт, а не като книжниците.

And they were completely astonished at His teaching, for He was teaching as One Who possessed authority, and not as the scribes.

23 И скоро след това в синагогата им дойде човек с нечист дух, който извика:

Just at that time there was in their synagogue a man of an unclean spirit; and now he raised a deep and terrible cry from the depths of his throat, saying,

24 О стави ни! Какво общо имаш Ти с нас, Исусе Назарянино? Нима си дошъл да ни погубиш? Познавам Те Кой си - Святият Божий.

What have You to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!

25 Н о Исус го смъмра, като каза: Млъкни и излез от него!

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hush up (be muzzled, gagged), and come out of him!

26 Т огава нечистият дух, като го хвърли в гърчове, изкрещя със силен глас и излезе от него.

And the unclean spirit, throwing the man into convulsions and screeching with a loud voice, came out of him.

27 И всички се смаяха и започнаха да разискват помежду си: Какво е това? Едно ново учение! С власт заповядва и на нечистите духове и те Му се покоряват!

And they were all so amazed and almost terrified that they kept questioning and demanding one of another, saying, What is this? What new (fresh) teaching! With authority He gives orders even to the unclean spirits and they obey Him!

28 И слухът за Него се разнесе скоро навред по цялата Галилейска област. Излекуването на тъщата на Петър и на други болни

And immediately rumors concerning Him spread throughout all the region surrounding Galilee.

29 И щом излязоха от синагогата, дойдоха с Яков и Йоан в къщата на Симон и Андрей.

And at once He left the synagogue and went into the house of Simon and Andrew, accompanied by James and John.

30 А Симоновата тъща лежеше болна от треска; и веднага Му казаха за нея.

Now Simon’s mother-in-law had for some time been lying sick with a fever, and at once they told Him about her.

31 Т ой се приближи и като я хвана за ръка, я вдигна; и веднага треската я остави и тя им прислужваше.

And He went up to her and took her by the hand and raised her up; and the fever left her, and she began to wait on them.

32 А като се свечери, когато залезе слънцето, доведоха при Него всички болни и обладани от бесове.

Now when it was evening, after the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those under the power of demons,

33 И целият град се събра пред вратата.

Until the whole town was gathered together about the door.

34 И Той изцели мнозина, които страдаха от разни болести, и изгони много бесове; и не позволяваше на бесовете да говорят, понеже Го познаваха.

And He cured many who were afflicted with various diseases; and He drove out many demons, but would not allow the demons to talk because they knew Him '> intuitively].

35 И на сутринта, когато беше още тъмно, стана и излезе, и отиде в уединено място, и там се молеше.

And in the morning, long before daylight, He got up and went out to a deserted place, and there He prayed.

36 А Симон и онези, които бяха с Него, изтичаха след Него.

And Simon and those who were with him followed Him '> pursuing Him eagerly and hunting Him out],

37 И като Го намериха, казаха Му: Всички Те търсят.

And they found Him and said to Him, Everybody is looking for You.

38 А Той им каза: Да идем другаде в близките градчета и там да проповядвам; защото затова съм излязъл.

And He said to them, Let us be going on into the neighboring country towns, that I may preach there also; for that is why I came out.

39 И влизаше в синагогите им по цяла Галилея, като проповядваше и изгонваше бесовете.

He went throughout the whole of Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.

40 И дойде при Него един прокажен и Му се молеше, коленичил пред Него, с думите: Ако искаш, можеш да ме очистиш.

And a leper came to Him, begging Him on his knees and saying to Him, If You are willing, You are able to make me clean.

41 А Той се смили, простря ръка и се допря до него, и му каза: Искам, бъди очистен.

And being moved with pity and sympathy, Jesus reached out His hand and touched him, and said to him, I am willing; be made clean!

42 И веднага проказата го остави и той стана чист.

And at once the leprosy left him and he was made clean.

43 И сус веднага го отпрати и го предупреди строго, като му каза:

And Jesus charged him sternly (sharply and threateningly, and with earnest admonition) and sent him away at once,

44 Г ледай да не кажеш нищо на никого; но за свидетелство на тях иди и се покажи на свещеника и дай принос за очистването си това, което е заповядал Моисей.

And said to him, See that you tell nothing to anyone; but begone, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your purification what Moses commanded, as a proof (an evidence and witness) to the people.

45 А той, като излезе, започна да разгласява много и да разнася за станалото, така че Исус не можеше вече да влезе явно в някой град, но стоеше навън в уединени места; и при Него идваха отвсякъде.

But he went out and began to talk so freely about it and blaze abroad the news that could no longer openly go into a town but was outside in desert places. But the people kept on coming to Him from all sides and every quarter.
