1 А Исус, пълен със Святия Дух, когато се върна от брега на Йордан, беше воден от Духа в пустинята четиридесет дни,

Then Jesus, full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led in the Spirit

2 к ъдето беше изкушаван от дявола. И не яде нищо през тези дни; и когато изминаха те, Той огладня.

For (during) forty days in the wilderness (desert), where He was tempted ( tried, tested exceedingly) by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they were completed, He was hungry.

3 И дяволът Му каза: Ако си Божият Син, заповядай на този камък да стане хляб.

Then the devil said to Him, If You are the Son of God, order this stone to turn into a loaf.

4 А Исус му отговори: Писано е: "Не само с хляб ще живее човек, но с всяко Божие слово."

And Jesus replied to him, It is written, Man shall not live and be sustained by (on) bread alone but by every word and expression of God.

5 Т огава, като Го изведе на една висока планина и Му показа всички царства на света, в един миг време, дяволът Му каза:

Then the devil took Him up to a high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the habitable world in a moment of time '> in the twinkling of an eye].

6 Н а Тебе ще дам цялата тази власт и слава на тези царства, защото на мен е предадена и аз я давам на когото искам.

And he said to Him, To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will.

7 И така, ако ми се поклониш, всичко ще бъде Твое.

Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me '> just once], it shall all be Yours.

8 А Исус му отговори: Писано е: "На Господа, твоя Бог, да се покланяш и само на Него да служиш."

And Jesus replied to him, Get behind Me, Satan! It is written, You shall do homage to and worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.

9 Т огава Го заведе в Йерусалим, постави Го на крилото на храма и Му каза: Ако си Божий Син, хвърли се оттук долу;

Then he took Him to Jerusalem and set Him on a gable of the temple, and said to Him, If You are the Son of God, cast Yourself down from here;

10 з ащото е писано: "Ще заповяда на ангелите Си за Тебе да Те пазят;

For it is written, He will give His angels charge over you to guard and watch over you closely and carefully;

11 и на ръце ще Те вдигат, да не би да удариш о камък крака Си."

And on their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.

12 А Исус му отговори: Казано е: "Да не изпитваш Господа, твоя Бог."

And Jesus replied to him, says, You shall not tempt (try, test exceedingly) the Lord your God.

13 И като изчерпа всяко изкушение, дяволът се оттегли от Него за известно време. Начало на служението в Галилея

And when the devil had ended every temptation, he left Him '> stood off from Him] until another more opportune and favorable time.

14 А Исус се върна в Галилея със силата на Духа; и слух се разнесе за Него по цялата околност.

Then Jesus went back full of and under the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and the fame of Him spread through the whole region round about.

15 И Той поучаваше по синагогите им; и всички Го славеха.

And He Himself conducted '> a course of] teaching in their synagogues, being recognized and honored and praised by all.

16 И дойде в Назарет, където беше отгледан, и по обичая Си влезе в синагогата в събота и се изправи да чете.

So He came to Nazareth, '> that Nazareth] where He had been brought up, and He entered the synagogue, as was His custom on the Sabbath day. And He stood up to read.

17 П одадоха Му свитък от книгата на пророк Исая; и Той, като разгъна свитъка, намери мястото, където беше писано:

And there was handed to Him the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened (unrolled) the book and found the place where it was written,

18 " Духът на Господа е на Мене, защото Ме е помазал да благовестявам на сиромасите; пратил Ме е да проглася освобождение на пленниците и проглеждане на слепите, да пусна на свобода угнетените,

The Spirit of the Lord upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed,

19 д а проглася благоприятната Господня година."

To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord '> when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound].

20 И като сгъна свитъка, върна го на служителя и седна; а очите на всички в синагогата бяха впити в Него.

Then He rolled up the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing at Him.

21 И сус започна да им казва: Днес се изпълни това писание пред вас.

And He began to speak to them: Today this Scripture has been fulfilled while you are present and hearing.

22 И всички говореха добри неща за Него, като се чудеха на благодатните думи, които излизаха от устата Му. И казваха: Този не е ли Йосифовият син?

And all spoke well of Him and marveled at the words of grace that came forth from His mouth; and they said, Is not this Joseph’s Son?

23 А Той им каза: Навярно ще Ми кажете тази поговорка: Лекарю, излекувай себе си; каквото сме чули, че става в Капернаум, направи го и тук, в Своето родно място.

So He said to them, You will doubtless quote to Me this proverb: Physician, heal Yourself! What we have learned by hearsay that You did in Capernaum, do here also in Your town.

24 И пак каза: Истина ви казвам, че никой пророк не е приет в своята родина.

Then He said, Solemnly I say to you, no prophet is acceptable and welcome in his town (country).

25 А ви казвам наистина, много вдовици имаше в Израел в дните на Илия, когато се затвори небето за три години и шест месеца и настана голям глад по цялата земя;

But in truth I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heavens were closed up for three years and six months, so that there came a great famine over all the land;

26 а при нито една от тях не беше пратен Илия, а само при една вдовица в Сарепта Сидонска.

And yet Elijah was not sent to a single one of them, but only to Zarephath in the country of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.

27 Т ака също много прокажени имаше в Израел по времето на пророк Елисей; но никой от тях не бе очистен, а само сириецът Нееман.

And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and yet not one of them was cleansed —but only Naaman the Syrian.

28 К ато чуха това всички, които бяха в синагогата, се изпълниха с гняв

When they heard these things, all the people in the synagogue were filled with rage.

29 и като станаха, изкараха Го вън от града и Го заведоха при пропастта на хълма, на който градът им беше съграден, за да Го хвърлят долу.

And rising up, they pushed and drove Him out of the town, and they led Him to the upper part of the hill on which their town was built, that they might hurl Him headlong down.

30 Н о Той мина между тях и си отиде. Излекуването на обладания от нечист дух в Капернаум

But passing through their midst, He went on His way.

31 И слезе в Галилейския град Капернаум и ги поучаваше в събота;

And He descended to Capernaum, a town of Galilee, and there He continued to teach the people on the Sabbath days.

32 и се удивляваха на учението Му, защото Неговото слово беше с власт.

And they were amazed at His teaching, for His word was with authority and ability and weight and power.

33 А в синагогата имаше човек, обладан от духа на нечист бяс; и той извика със силен глас:

Now in the synagogue there was a man who was possessed by the foul spirit of a demon; and he cried out with a loud (deep, terrible) cry,

34 О стави ни! Какво общо имаш Ти с нас, Исусе Назарянино? Нима си дошъл да ни погубиш? Познавам Те Кой си Ти - Святият на Бога.

Ah, let us alone! What have You to do with us '> we in common], Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know Who You are—the Holy One of God!

35 Н о Исус го смъмра и каза: Млъкни и излез от него. И бесът, като го повали насред синагогата, излезе от него, без никак да го повреди.

But Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be silent (muzzled, gagged), and come out of him! And when the demon had thrown the man down in their midst, he came out of him without injuring him in any possible way.

36 И всички се смаяха и разискваха помежду си: Какво е това слово, защото Той с власт и сила заповядва на нечистите духове и те излизат?

And they were all amazed and said to one another, What kind of talk is this? For with authority and power He commands the foul spirits and they come out!

37 И мълвата за Него се разнесе по всички околни места. Излекуването на тъщата на Петър и на други болни

And a rumor about Him spread into every place in the surrounding country.

38 И като стана и излезе от синагогата, влезе в къщата на Симон. А Симоновата тъща беше хваната от силна треска; и те Го молиха за нея.

Then He arose and left the synagogue and went into Simon’s (Peter’s) house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering in the grip of a burning fever, and they pleaded with Him for her.

39 А Той, като застана над нея, смъмри треската и тя я остави, и жената начаса стана и им прислужваше.

And standing over her, He rebuked the fever, and it left her; and immediately she got up and began waiting on them.

40 И при залез слънце всички, които имаха болни от разни болести, ги доведоха при Него; а Той, като положи ръце на всеки от тях, ги изцели.

Now at the setting of the sun, all those who had any sick with various diseases brought them to Him, and He laid His hands upon every one of them and cured them.

41 О ще и бесове с крясък излизаха от мнозина и казваха: Ти си Божият Син. А Той ги мъмреше и не ги оставяше да говорят, понеже знаеха, че Той е Христос.

And demons even came out of many people, screaming and crying out, You are the Son of God! But He rebuked them and would not permit them to speak, because they knew that He was the Christ (the Messiah).

42 И като се съмна, Той излезе и отиде на уединено място, а множествата Го търсеха, идваха при Него и искаха да Го задържат, за да не си отива от тях.

And when daybreak came, He left and went into an isolated place. And the people looked for Him until they came up to Him and tried to prevent Him from leaving them.

43 Н о Той им каза: И на другите градове трябва да благовестя Божието царство, понеже затова съм изпратен.

But He said to them, I must preach the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this.

44 И проповядваше в Галилейските синагоги.

And He continued to preach in the synagogues of Galilee.
