1 Đ ấng từ Ê-đôm đến, từ Bốt-ra tới, mặc áo nhuộm, bận đồ hoa mĩ, cậy sức mạnh cả thể, kéo bộ cách oai nghiêm, là ai? Aáy, chính ta, là Đấng dùng sự công bình mà nói, và có quyền lên để cứu rỗi!

Who is this Who comes from Edom, with crimson-stained garments from Bozrah ? This One Who is glorious in His apparel, striding triumphantly in the greatness of His might? It is I, Who speaks in righteousness, mighty to save!

Why is Your apparel splashed with red, and Your garments like the one who treads in the winepress?

3 C hỉ một mình ta đạp bàn ép rượu, trong vòng các dân chẳng từng có ai với ta. Trong cơn giận ta đã đạp lên; đương khi thạnh nộ ta đã nghiền nát ra: máu tươi họ đã vảy ra trên áo ta, áo xống ta đã vấy hết.

I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples there was no one with Me. I trod them in My anger and trampled them in My wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I stained all My raiment.

4 V ì ta đã định ngày báo thù trong lòng ta, và năm cứu chuộc của ta đã đến.

For the day of vengeance was in My heart, and My year of redemption has come.

5 T a đã xem, chẳng có ai đến giúp ta; ta lấy làm lạ vì chẳng có ai nâng đỡ! Cánh tay ta bèn cứu ta, sự thạnh nộ ta bèn nâng đỡ ta.

And I looked, but there was no one to help; I was amazed and appalled that there was no one to uphold. So My own arm brought Me victory, and My wrath upheld Me.

6 T a đã giày đạp các dân trong cơn giận; đã khiến chúng nó say vì sự thạnh nộ ta, và đã đổ máu tươi chúng nó ra trên đất.

I trod down the peoples in My anger and made them drink of the cup of My wrath until they were intoxicated, and I spilled their lifeblood upon the earth.

7 T a sẽ nói đến những sự nhơn từ của Đức Giê-hô-va, và sự ngợi khen Đức Giê-hô-va, y theo mọi sự Đức Giê-hô-va đã ban cho chúng ta, và thuật lại phước lớn Ngài đã ban cho nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, y theo những sự thương xót và sự nhơn từ vô số của Ngài.

I will recount the loving-kindnesses of the Lord and the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel, which He has granted them according to His mercy and according to the multitude of His loving-kindnesses.

8 V ì Ngài có phán: Thật, chúng nó là dân ta, tức con cái sẽ chẳng làm dối; vậy Ngài đã làm Đấng Cứu họ.

For He said, Surely they are My people, sons who will not lie; and so He was to them a Savior.

9 H ễ khi dân Ngài bị khốn khổ, chính Ngài cũng khốn khổ, và thiên sứ trước mặt Ngài đã cứu họ rồi. Chính Ngài đã lấy lòng yêu đương thương xót mà chuộc họ. Ngài đã ẵm bồng, và mang họ trong các ngày thuở xưa.

In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

10 S ong họ đã bội nghịch, đã làm cho Thần thánh Ngài buồn rầu, Ngài bèn trở làm cừu thù với họ, và chính mình Ngài chinh chiến cùng họ.

But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; therefore He turned to become their enemy and Himself fought against them.

11 B ấy giờ dân nhớ lại ngày xưa, về Môi-se và dân sự người, mà nói rằng: Nào Đấng đã làm cho dân và người chăn bầy vật mình ra khỏi biển ở đâu? Nào Đấng đã đặt Thần thánh mình giữa dân sự ở đâu?

Then His people remembered the days of old, of Moses and his people, Where is He Who brought up out of the Sea, with shepherds of His flock? Where is He Who put His Holy Spirit within their midst,

12 l à Đấng lấy cánh tay vinh hiển đi bên tay hữu Môi-se; là Đấng đã rẽ nước ra trước mặt họ, đặng rạng danh vô cùng;

Who caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, dividing the waters before them, to make for Himself an everlasting name,

13 l à Đấng đã dắt dân qua trên sóng đào, như ngựa chạy đồng bằng, và không sẩy bước.

Who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they did not stumble?

14 T hần của Đức Giê-hô-va đã khiến dân sự yên nghỉ, như bầy vật xuống nơi trũng. Cũng vậy, Ngài đã dắt dân mình đi đường, để cho rạng danh vinh hiển mình.

Like the cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of the Lord caused them to rest. So did You lead Your people to make for Yourself a beautiful and glorious name.

15 X in Chúa từ trên trời ngó xuống, từ chỗ ở thánh và vinh hiển của Ngài mà nhìn xem! Chớ nào lòng nóng nảy và công việc lớn Ngài ở đâu? Lòng ước ao sốt sắng và sự thương xót của Ngài bị ngăn trở đến cùng tôi.

Look down from heaven and see from the dwelling place of Your holiness and Your glory. Where are Your zeal and Your jealousy and Your mighty acts ? Your yearning pity and the compassions of Your heart are restrained and withheld from me.

16 T hật Ngài là Cha chúng tôi, dầu A

For You are our Father, even though Abraham does not know us and Israel (Jacob) does not acknowledge us; You, O Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from everlasting is Your name.

17 H ỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, sao để chúng tôi lầm lạc xa đường Ngài? sao để lòng chúng tôi cứng cỏi đến nỗi chẳng kính sợ Ngài? Xin hãy vì cớ các tôi tớ Ngài và các chi phái của cơ nghiệp Ngài mà trở lại!

O Lord, why have You made us to err from Your ways and hardened our hearts to fear of You? Return for Your servants’ sake, the tribes of Your heritage.

18 D ân thánh của Ngài được xứ nầy làm kỷ vật chưa bao lâu; mà kẻ thù chúng tôi đã giày đạp nơi thánh của Ngài.

Your holy people possessed Your sanctuary but a little while; our adversaries have trodden it down.

19 T ừ lâu nay chúng tôi đã như một dân không hề được Ngài cai trị, và không còn đội danh Ngài nữa.

We have become like those over whom You never exercised rule, like those who were not called by Your name.
