1 S ự vi phạm của kẻ ác nói trong lòng tôi rằng: Chẳng có sự kính sợ Đức Chúa Trời ở trước mắt nó.

Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart. There is no fear or dread of God before his eyes.

2 V ì nó tự khoe mình Rằng tội ác mình sẽ chẳng lộ ra, và sẽ không bị ghét.

For he flatters and deceives himself in his own eyes that his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.

3 C ác lời miệng nó là gian ác và dối gạt; Nó đã thôi ở khôn ngoan, và bỏ làm lành.

The words of his mouth are wrong and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and to do good.

4 N ó toan ác tại trên giường nó; Nó đứng trên con đường chẳng thiện, Nó cũng không gớm ghiếc sự dữ.

He plans wrongdoing on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject or despise evil.

5 H ỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, sự nhơn từ Ngài ở trên các từng trời; Sự thành tín Ngài đến tận các mây.

Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, extend to the skies, and Your faithfulness to the clouds.

6 S ự công bình Chúa giống như núi Đức Chúa Trời; Sự đoán xét Chúa khác nảo vực rất sâu. Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, Ngài bảo tồn loài người và thú vật.

Your righteousness is like the mountains of God, Your judgments are like the great deep. O Lord, You preserve man and beast.

7 H ỡi Đức Chúa Trời, sự nhơn từ Chúa quí biết bao! Con cái loài người nương náu mình dưới bóng cánh của Chúa.

How precious is Your steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge and put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.

8 H ọ nhờ sự dư dật của nhà Chúa mà được thỏa nguyện; Chúa sẽ cho họ uống nước sông phước lạc của Chúa.

They relish and feast on the abundance of Your house; and You cause them to drink of the stream of Your pleasures.

9 V ì nguồn sự sống ở nơi Chúa; Trong ánh sáng Chúa chúng tôi thấy sự sáng.

For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light do we see light.

10 C ầu Chúa cứ làm ơn cho những người biết Chúa, Và ban sự công bình Chúa cho mọi người có lòng ngay thẳng.

O continue Your loving-kindness to those who know You, Your righteousness (salvation) to the upright in heart.

11 X in chớ để chơn kẻ kiêu ngạo theo kịp tôi, Cũng đừng cho tay kẻ ác xô đuổi tôi xa.

Let not the foot of pride overtake me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.

12 T ại nơi ấy kẻ làm ác sa ngã; Chúng nó bị xô nhào, không thể chổi dậy được.

There the workers of iniquity fall and lie prostrate; they are thrust down and shall not be able to rise.
