1 H ỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, xin lắng tai nghe lời tôi, Xem xét sự suy gẫm tôi.

Listen to my words, O Lord, give heed to my sighing and groaning.

2 H ỡi Vua tôi, Đức Chúa Trời tôi, xin hãy nghe tiếng kêu của tôi, Vì tôi cầu nguyện cùng Chúa.

Hear the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You do I pray.

3 Đ ức Giê-hô-va ôi! buổi sáng Ngài sẽ nghe tiếng tôi; Buổi sáng tôi sẽ trình bày duyên cớ tôi trước mặt Ngài, và trông đợi.

In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare for You and watch and wait.

4 V ì Chúa chẳng phải là Đức Chúa Trời bằng lòng sự dữ; Kẻ ác sẽ không được ở cùng Chúa.

For You are not a God Who takes pleasure in wickedness; neither will the evil so much as dwell with You.

5 K ẻ kiêu ngạo chẳng đứng nổi trước mặt Chúa; Chúa ghét hết thảy những kẻ làm ác.

Boasters can have no standing in Your sight; You abhor all evildoers.

6 C húa sẽ hủy diệt các kẻ nói dối; Đức Giê-hô-va gớm ghiếc người đổ huyết và kẻ gian lận.

You will destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

7 C òn tôi, nhờ sự nhơn từ dư dật của Chúa, tôi sẽ vào nhà Chúa, Lấy lòng kính sợ Chúa mà thờ lạy trước đền thánh của Chúa.

But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy; I will worship toward and at Your holy temple in reverent fear and awe of You.

8 H ỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, nhơn vì kẻ thù nghịch tôi, xin lấy công bình Ngài mà dẫn dắt tôi, Và ban bằng đường Ngài trước mặt tôi.

Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way level (straight and right) before my face.

9 V ì nơi miệng chúng nó chẳng có sự thành tín; Lòng chúng nó chỉ là gian tà; Họng chúng nó là huyệt mả mở ra; Lưỡi chúng nó đầy dẫy điều dua nịnh.

For there is nothing trustworthy or steadfast or truthful in their talk; their heart is destruction; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter and make smooth with their tongue.

10 H ỡi Đức Chúa Trời, xin hãy trừng trị chúng nó; Nguyện họ sa ngã trong mưu chước mình; Hãy xô đuổi họ vì tội ác rất nhiều của họ; Vì họ đã phản nghịch cùng Chúa.

Hold them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own designs and counsels; cast them out because of the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.

11 N hưng phàm ai nương náu mình nơi Chúa sẽ khoái lạc, Cất tiếng reo mừng đến mãi mãi, Vì Chúa bảo hộ các người ấy; Kẻ nào ái mộ danh Chúa Cũng sẽ nức lòng mừng rỡ nơi Chúa.

But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.

12 V ì hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, chính Ngài sẽ ban phước cho người công bình, Lấy ơn vây phủ người khác nào bằng cái khiên.

For You, Lord, will bless the righteous; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).
