1 E scucha, oh SEÑOR, mis palabras. Considera la meditación mía.

Listen to my words, O Lord, give heed to my sighing and groaning.

2 E stá atento a la voz de mi clamor, Rey mío y Dios mío, porque a ti oraré.

Hear the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You do I pray.

3 O h SEÑOR, de mañana oirás mi voz; de mañana me presentaré a ti, y esperaré.

In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare for You and watch and wait.

4 P orque tú no eres un Dios que ame la maldad: El malo no habitará junto a ti.

For You are not a God Who takes pleasure in wickedness; neither will the evil so much as dwell with You.

5 N o estarán los locos que se gobiernan por afecto o consejo de la carne delante de tus ojos; aborreces a todos los que obran iniquidad.

Boasters can have no standing in Your sight; You abhor all evildoers.

6 D estruirás a los que hablan mentira. Al varón de sangre y de engaño abominará el SEÑOR.

You will destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

7 ¶ Y yo en la multitud de tu misericordia entraré en tu Casa; adoraré hacia el santo Templo tuyo con tu temor.

But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy; I will worship toward and at Your holy temple in reverent fear and awe of You.

8 G uíame, SEÑOR, en tu justicia a causa de mis enemigos; endereza delante de mí tu camino.

Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way level (straight and right) before my face.

9 P orque no hay en su boca rectitud; sus entrañas son llenas de maldad; sepulcro abierto es su garganta, con su lengua lisonjearán.

For there is nothing trustworthy or steadfast or truthful in their talk; their heart is destruction; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter and make smooth with their tongue.

10 D esbaratados, oh Dios; caigan por sus propios consejos; por la multitud de sus rebeliones échalos, porque se rebelaron contra ti.

Hold them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own designs and counsels; cast them out because of the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.

11 Y se alegrarán todos los que esperan en ti; para siempre jubilarán, y los cubrirás; y se alegrarán en ti los que aman tu nombre.

But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.

12 P orque tú, oh SEÑOR, bendecirás al justo; lo cercarás de benevolencia como con un escudo.

For You, Lord, will bless the righteous; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).
