1 Y éstos son los sacerdotes y levitas que subieron con Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel, y con Jesúa: Seraías, Jeremías, Esdras,

Now these are the priests and Levites who went up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and with Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

2 A marías, Maluc, Hatús,

Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,

3 S ecanías, Rehum, Meremot,

Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,

4 I ddo, Gineto, Abías,

Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,

5 M ijamín, Maadías, Bilga,

Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,

6 S emaías, Joiarib, Jedaías,

Shemaiah, Joiarib, Jedaiah,

7 S alú, Amoc, Hilcías, y Jedaías. Estos eran los príncipes de los sacerdotes y sus hermanos en los días de Jesúa.

Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, and Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and their brethren in the days of Jeshua.

8 Y los levitas: Jesúa, Binúi, Cadmiel, Serebías, Judá, y Matanías, que con sus hermanos oficiaba en los cantos de alabanza.

And the Levites were Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who, with his brethren, was over the thanksgiving.

9 Y Bacbuquías y Uni, sus hermanos, delante de ellos en las guardas.

Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, stood opposite them according to their offices.

10 Y Jesúa engendró a Joiacim, y Joiacim engendró a Eliasib y Eliasib engendró a Joiada,

And Jeshua was the father of Joiakim, Joiakim of Eliashib, Eliashib of Joiada,

11 J oiada engendró a Jonatán, y Jonatán engendró a Jadúa.

Joiada was the father of Jonathan, and Jonathan of Jaddua.

12 Y en los días de Joiacim los sacerdotes cabezas de familias fueron: de Seraías, Meraías; de Jeremías, Hananías;

And in the days of Joiakim were priests, heads of fathers’ houses: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

13 d e Esdras, Mesulam; de Amarías, Johanán;

Of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

14 d e Melicú, Jonatán; de Sebanías, José;

Of Malluchi, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;

15 d e Harim, Adna; de Meraiot, Helcai;

Of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;

16 d e Iddo, Zacarías; de Ginetón, Mesulam;

Of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;

17 d e Abías, Zicri; de Miniamín, de Moadías, Piltai;

Of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin and of Moadiah, Piltai;

18 d e Bilga, Samúa; de Semaías, Jonatán;

Of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;

22 L os levitas en días de Eliasib, de Joiada, de Johanán y de Jadúa, fueron inscritos por cabezas de familias; también los sacerdotes, hasta el reinado de Darío el Persa.

As for the Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan, and Jaddua, the heads of fathers’ houses were recorded, as well as the priests, until the reign of Darius the Persian.

23 L os hijos de Leví, cabezas de familias, fueron inscritos en el libro de las Crónicas hasta los días de Johanán, hijo de Eliasib.

The sons of Levi, heads of fathers’ houses, were recorded in the Book of the Chronicles until the days of Johanan son of Eliashib.

24 L as cabezas de los levitas: Hasabías, Serebías, Jesúa hijo de Cadmiel, y sus hermanos delante de ellos, para alabar y para rendir gracias, conforme al estatuto de David varón de Dios, guardando su turno.

And the chiefs of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, with their brethren opposite them, to praise and to give thanks, as David, God’s man, commanded, watch in response to watch.

25 M atanías y Bacbuquías, Obadías, Mesulam, Talmón y Acub, guardas, eran porteros para la guardia a las entradas de las puertas.

Mattaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, and Akkub were gatekeepers guarding at the storehouses of the gates.

26 E stos fueron en los días de Joiacim, hijo de Jesúa, hijo de Josadac, y en los días de Nehemías capitán, y de Esdras sacerdote, y escriba.

These were in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor and of Ezra the priest and scribe.

27 ¶ Y a la dedicación del muro de Jerusalén buscaron a los levitas de todos sus lugares, para traerlos a Jerusalén, para hacer la dedicación con alegría, con acción de gracias y con cánticos, con címbalos, salterios y cítaras.

And for the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites in all their places to bring them to Jerusalem to celebrate the dedication with gladness, with thanksgivings, and with singing, cymbals, harps, and lyres.

28 Y fueron reunidos los hijos de los cantores, así de la campiña alrededor de Jerusalén como de las aldeas de Netofati;

And the sons of the singers gathered together from the plain and circuit around Jerusalem and from the villages of the Netophathites,

29 y de la casa de Gilgal, y de los campos de Geba, y de Azmavet; porque los cantores se habían edificado aldeas alrededor de Jerusalén.

And also from Beth-gilgal and the fields of Geba and Azmaveth, for the singers had built for themselves villages around Jerusalem.

30 Y se purificaron los sacerdotes y los levitas; y purificaron al pueblo, y las puertas, y el muro.

And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, the people, the gates, and the wall.

31 H ice luego subir a los príncipes de Judá sobre el muro, y puse dos coros grandes que fueron en procesión; el uno a la mano derecha sobre el muro hacia la puerta del Muladar.

Then I brought the princes of Judah up on the wall, and I appointed two great companies of them who gave thanks and went in procession. One went to the right upon the wall toward the Dung Gate.

32 E iba tras de ellos Osaías, y la mitad de los príncipes de Judá,

And after them went Hoshaiah and half of the princes of Judah,

33 y Azarías, Esdras, Mesulam,

And Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam,

34 J udá, Benjamín, Semaías, y Jeremías;

Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,

35 y de los hijos de los sacerdotes iban con trompetas: Zacarías hijo de Jonatán, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Matanías, hijo de Micaías, hijo de Zacur, hijo de Asaf;

And certain of the priests’ sons with trumpets, and Zechariah son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph,

36 y sus hermanos, Semaías, Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Natanael, Judá y Hanani, con los instrumentos musicales de David varón de Dios; y Esdras escriba, delante de ellos.

And his kinsmen—Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, Hanani—with the musical instruments of David, God’s man. And Ezra the scribe went before them.

37 Y a la puerta de la Fuente, y delante de ellos, subieron por las gradas de la ciudad de David, por la subida del muro, desde la casa de David hasta la puerta de las Aguas al oriente.

At the Fountain Gate they went up straight ahead by the stairs of the City of David at the wall’s ascent above David’s house to the Water Gate on the east.

38 Y el segundo coro iba del lado opuesto, y yo en pos de él, con la mitad del pueblo sobre el muro, desde la torre de los Hornos hasta el muro ancho;

The other company of those who gave thanks went to the left; I followed with half of the people upon the wall, above the Tower of the Furnaces to the Broad Wall,

39 y desde la puerta de Efraín hasta la puerta vieja, y a la puerta de los Peces, y la torre de Hananeel, y la torre de Hamea, hasta la puerta de las Ovejas; y pararon en la puerta de la Guarda.

And above the Gate of Ephraim, and by the Old Gate and by the Fish Gate and by the Tower of Hananel and the Tower of Hammeah, even to the Sheep Gate; and they stopped at the Gate of the Guard.

40 P araron luego los dos coros en la Casa de Dios; y yo, y la mitad de los magistrados conmigo;

So the two companies of those who gave thanks stood in the house of God, and I, and the half of the officials with me;

41 y los sacerdotes, Eliacim, Maaseías, Miniamín, Micaías, Elioenai, Zacarías, y Hananías, con trompetas;

And the priests Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;

42 y Maasías, Semaías, Eleazar, Uzi, Johanán, Malquías, Elam, y Ezer. Y los cantores cantaban alto, e Izrahías era el prefecto.

And Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang and made themselves heard, with Jezrahiah as leader.

43 Y sacrificaron aquel día gran número de víctimas, e hicieron alegrías; porque Dios los había alegrado con gran gozo; se alegraron también las mujeres y los niños; y el alborozo de Jerusalén fue oído de lejos.

Also that day they offered great sacrifices and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women also and the children rejoiced. The joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

44 ¶ Y en aquel día fueron puestos varones sobres las cámaras de los tesoros, de las ofrendas, de las primicias, y de los diezmos; para juntar en ellas, de los campos de las ciudades, las porciones legales para los sacerdotes y para los levitas; porque la alegría de Judá era sobre los sacerdotes y levitas que servían.

On that day men were appointed over the chambers for the stores, the contributions, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them the portions required by law for the priests and the Levites according to the fields of the towns, for Judah rejoiced over the priests and Levites who served.

45 Y guardaban la observancia de su Dios, y la observancia de la purificación, y los cantores y los porteros, conforme al estatuto de David y de Salomón su hijo.

And they performed the due service of their God and of the purification; so did the singers and gatekeepers, as David and his son Solomon had commanded.

46 P orque desde el tiempo de David y de Asaf, y de antes, había príncipes de cantores, y cántico y alabanza, y acción de gracias a Dios.

For in the days of David and Asaph of old, there was a chief of singers and songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.

47 Y todo Israel en días de Zorobabel, y en días de Nehemías, daba las porciones de los cantores y de los porteros, cada cosa en su día; y lo santificaban a los levitas, y los levitas lo santificaban a los hijos de Aarón.

And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and of Nehemiah gave the daily portions for the singers and the gatekeepers; and they set apart what was for the Levites, and the Levites set apart what was for the sons of Aaron.
