1 F uiste propicio a tu tierra, oh SEÑOR; volviste la cautividad de Jacob.

Lord, You have been favorable and have dealt graciously with Your land; You have brought back the captives of Jacob.

2 P erdonaste la iniquidad de tu pueblo; cubriste todos los pecados de ellos. (Selah.)

You have forgiven and taken away the iniquity of Your people, You have covered all their sin. Selah!

3 Q uitaste toda tu saña; te volviste de la ira de tu furor.

You have withdrawn all Your wrath and indignation, You have turned away from the blazing anger.

4 V uélvenos, oh Dios, salud nuestra, y haz cesar tu ira de sobre nosotros.

Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward us to cease.

5 ¿ Estarás enojado contra nosotros para siempre? ¿Extenderás tu ira de generación en generación?

Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger and spread it out to all generations?

6 ¿ No volverás tú a darnos vida, y tu pueblo se alegrará en ti?

Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?

7 M uéstranos, oh SEÑOR, tu misericordia, y danos tu salud.

Show us Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation.

8 ¶ Escucharé lo que hablará Dios el SEÑOR; porque hablará paz a su pueblo y a sus santos, para que no se conviertan otra vez a la locura.

I will listen to what God the Lord will say, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints (those who are in right standing with Him)—but let them not turn again to folly.

9 C iertamente cercana está su salud a los que le temen; para que habite la gloria en nuestra tierra.

Surely His salvation is near to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, that glory may tabernacle and abide in our land.

10 L a misericordia y la verdad se encontraron; la justicia y la paz se besaron.

Mercy and loving-kindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11 L a verdad reverdecerá de la tierra; y la justicia mirará desde los cielos.

Truth shall spring up from the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

12 E l SEÑOR dará también el bien; y nuestra tierra dará su fruto.

Yes, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase.

13 L a justicia irá delante de él; y pondrá sus pasos en camino.

Righteousness shall go before Him and shall make His footsteps a way in which to walk.
