1 В то время поднимется Михаил, великий князь, защитник твоего народа. Тогда будет такое бедственное время, какого не было с тех пор, как появились народы, до того времени. Но в то время твой народ – все, чьи имена будут найдены записанными в книгу – будет избавлен.

And at that time Michael shall arise, the great prince who defends and has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, straitness, and distress such as never was since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the Book.

2 М ногие из спящих в прахе земли проснутся: одни для вечной жизни, другие – на позор и вечное отвращение.

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake: some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt and abhorrence.

3 М удрые воссияют подобно сиянью небес, и те, кто ведет многих к праведности, – подобно звездам, – во веки и веки!

And the teachers and those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right standing with God) like the stars forever and ever.

4 Н о ты, Даниил, скрой эти слова и запечатай свиток, пока не придут последние времена. Многие будут метаться из стороны в сторону, а знание будет умножаться.

But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the Book until the time of the end. many shall run to and fro and search anxiously, and knowledge shall be increased and become great.

5 Я , Даниил, увидел, как появились двое других – один на одном берегу реки, а другой на другом берегу.

Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, there stood two others, the one on the brink of the river on this side and the other on the brink of the river on that side.

6 О дин из них сказал одетому в льняные одежды, который стоял над водами реки: – Сколько времени пройдет до конца этих непостижимых событий ?

And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

7 О детый в льняные одежды, который стоял над водами реки, поднял правую и левую руки к небу, и я услышал, как он клянется Живущим вечно, говоря: – Год, два года и полгода. Когда не станет того, кто сломил силы святого народа, все это совершится.

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right and his left hand toward the heavens and swore by Him Who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half a time; and when they have made an end of shattering and crushing the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8 Я услышал, но не понял. Тогда я спросил: – Мой господин, каким будет исход всего этого?

And I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, O my lord, what shall be the issue and final end of these things?

9 О н ответил: – Иди, Даниил. Эти слова скрыты и запечатаны до последних времен.

And he said, Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 М ногие очистятся, убелятся и будут испытаны, но нечестивые будут продолжать поступать нечестиво. Никто из нечестивых не поймет, но те, кто мудр, поймут.

Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be tried, smelted, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but the teachers and those who are wise shall understand.

11 С о времени, когда будет отменена ежедневная жертва и будет поставлена опустошающая мерзость, пройдет тысяча двести девяносто дней.

And from the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1, 290 days.

12 Б лажен тот, кто ждет и достигнет завершения тысячи трехсот тридцати пяти дней.

Blessed, happy, fortunate, spiritually prosperous, and to be envied is he who waits expectantly and earnestly and comes to the 1, 335 days!

13 А ты иди своим путем до конца. Ты упокоишься и в конце дней встанешь, чтобы получить свою долю.

But you, go your way until the end; for you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.
