1 – Выкрикивай громко, не сдерживайся; возвысь свой голос, подобно рогу. Возвести Моему народу об их отступничестве, и дому Иакова – об их грехах.

Cry aloud, spare not. Lift up your voice like a trumpet and declare to My people their transgression and to the house of Jacob their sins!

2 Д ень за днем они ищут Меня и желают знать Мои пути, словно народ, что творит правду и не оставляет повелений своего Бога. Они просят у Меня справедливых решений и желают приблизиться к Богу.

Yet they seek, inquire for, and require Me daily and delight to know My ways, as a nation that did righteousness and forsook not the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me righteous judgments, they delight to draw near to God.

3 « Зачем же мы постились, – говорят они, – если Ты не видел? Зачем мы смиряли себя, если Ты и не заметил?» Но в день своего поста вы служите своей выгоде и притесняете работников своих.

Why have we fasted, they say, and You do not see it? Why have we afflicted ourselves, and You take no knowledge ? Behold, on the day of your fast, you find profit in your business, and you extort from your hired servants a full amount of labor.

4 П ост ваш заканчивается ссорами, распрями и битьем кулаками неправды. Пока вы так поститесь, и не ждите, что ваш голос будет услышан в высотах.

you fast only for strife and debate and to smite with the fist of wickedness. Fasting as you do today will not cause your voice to be heard on high.

5 Р азве такой пост Я избрал, день, когда человек лишь смиряет себя? Разве он для того, чтобы клонить свою голову, как камыш, и лежать в рубище и пепле? Это ли вы назовете постом, днем, угодным Господу?

Is such a fast as yours what I have chosen, a day for a man to humble himself with sorrow in his soul? Is it only to bow down his head like a bulrush and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him ? Will you call this a fast and an acceptable day to the Lord?

6 Р азве пост Я избрал не для того, чтобы снять оковы неправды и развязать узы бремени, чтобы освободить угнетенных и сломать всякое ярмо?

is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?

7 Н е в том ли он, чтобы поделиться едой с голодным и дать пристанище бедному скитальцу; видя нагого, одеть его, и не отворачиваться от родственника?

Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house—when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from your own flesh and blood?

8 Т огда воссияет твой свет, как заря, и быстро придет твое исцеление; Твоя праведность пойдет пред тобою, и слава Господня защитит тебя с тыла.

Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you, and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

9 Т огда воззовешь ты – и Господь отзовется; позовешь на помощь – и Он ответит: «Я здесь». Если покончишь с ярмом угнетения, прекратишь показывать пальцем и оскорблять,

Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression, the finger pointed in scorn, and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking,

10 п редложишь свою пищу голодному и насытишь страдальца, тогда воссияет во тьме твой свет, и мрак твой станет как полдень.

And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday.

11 И Господь всегда будет вести тебя; Он насытит тебя в безводных местах и укрепит твои кости. Ты будешь, как орошаемый сад, как источник, чьи воды не иссякают.

And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.

12 О тстроятся твои древние развалины, и поднимутся прежние основания; назовут тебя восстановителем стен и возобновителем жилых улиц.

And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

13 Е сли удержишь свои ноги от нарушения субботы и не будешь искать своей выгоды в Мой святой день, если будешь называть субботу радостью и чтимым, святым днем Господа, если будешь чтить ее, не заботясь о собственных делах, не служа своей выгоде и не пустословя, –

If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your own pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable, and honor Him and it, not going your own way or seeking or finding your own pleasure or speaking with your own words,

14 т огда ты найдешь свою радость в Господе, и Я пронесу тебя по высотам земли, и дам вкусить от наследия твоего предка Иакова. Так сказали уста Господни.

Then will you delight yourself in the Lord, and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.
