2 L os hijos de Tola fueron Uzi, Refaías, Jeriel, Yajemay, Ibsán y Semuel, todos ellos jefes de las familias de sus padres. En tiempos de David se contaron los linajes de Tola, y resultaron ser veintidós mil seiscientos hombres muy aguerridos.

The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of the houses of their fathers. Those of Tola numbered by their families twenty-two thousand valiant men of might in the days of David.

3 I sraías fue hijo de Uzi, y los hijos de Israías fueron Micael, Abdías, Joel e Isías, un total de cinco príncipes.

The son of Uzzi was Izrahiah; and the sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel, Ishiah, all of them, five princes.

4 C ontados por sus linajes y por las familias de sus padres, todos ellos eran treinta y seis mil hombres aguerridos, y además tenían muchas mujeres e hijos.

And with them, by their lineages, after the houses of their fathers, were bands of soldiers for war, thirty-six thousand men, for they had many wives and sons.

5 S us parientes de todas las familias de Isacar, contados según sus genealogías, eran ochenta y siete mil hombres muy aguerridos. Los descendientes de Benjamín

And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies eighty-seven thousand.

6 L os tres hijos de Benjamín fueron Bela, Bequer y Jediael.

The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, and Jediael, three.

7 L os hijos de Bela fueron Ezbón, Uzi, Uziel, Jerimot e Iri, cinco jefes de casas paternas, hombres muy aguerridos, y cuya descendencia llegó a ser de veintidós mil treinta y cuatro personas.

The sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri, five, heads of the houses of their fathers, mighty men of valour; and were reckoned by their genealogies twenty-two thousand and thirty-four.

8 T odos los hijos de Bequer fueron Zemira, Joás, Eliezer, Elioguenay, Omri, Jerimot, Abías, Anatot y Alamet.

The sons of Becher: Zemira, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jerimoth, Abiah, Anathoth, and Alameth. All these are the sons of Becher.

9 C ontados por sus descendientes y por sus linajes, los jefes de familias resultaron ser veinte mil doscientos hombres aguerridos.

And the number of them, after their genealogy by their generations, heads of the houses of their fathers, mighty men of valour, was twenty thousand two hundred.

10 B ilán fue hijo de Jediael, y sus hijos fueron Jeús, Benjamín, Aod, Quenaná, Zetán, Tarsis y Ajisajar.

The son of Jediael was Bilhan; and the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.

11 T odos estos descendientes de Jediael fueron jefes de familias, diecisiete mil doscientos hombres aguerridos, siempre en pie de guerra.

All these were sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, seventeen thousand two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.

12 S ufán y Jupín fueron hijos de Hir, y Jusín fue hijo de Ajer. Los descendientes de Neftalí

And Shuppim and Huppim were sons of Ir; and Hushim, the son of Aher.

13 L os hijos que Neftalí tuvo con Bilá fueron Yajesel, Guni, Yézer y Salún. Los descendientes de Manasés

The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

14 L os hijos de Manasés con su concubina siria fueron Asriel y Maquir, el padre de Galaad.

The sons of Manasseh: Ashriel, whom his concubine, the Aramitess, gave birth unto him; she also gave birth to Machir, the father of Gilead.

15 M aquir tomó por mujer a Macá, hermana de Jupín y Sufán. Su segundo hijo fue Selofejad, quien tuvo hijas.

And Machir took wives of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister’s name was Maachah, and the name of the second was Zelophehad. And Zelophehad had daughters.

16 M acá, la mujer de Maquir, dio a luz un hijo, al que llamó Peres, el cual fue hermano de Seres. Los hijos de Peres fueron Ulán y Requén.

And Maachah, the wife of Machir, gave birth to a son unto him, and she called his name Peresh, and the name of his brother was Sheresh, whose sons were Ulam and Rakem.

17 B edán fue hijo de Ulán. Éstos fueron los hijos de Galaad hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés.

The son of Ulam was Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

18 S u hermana Hamolequet dio a luz a Isod, Abiezer y Majlá.

And his sister Hammoleketh gave birth to Ishod, Abiezer, and Mahalah.

19 L os hijos de Semida fueron Ajiyán, Siquén, Liquejí y Anián. Los descendientes de Efraín

And the sons of Shemida were, Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.

20 L os descendientes de Efraín en línea directa fueron Sutelaj, Bered, Tajat, Elgadá, Tajat,

¶ The sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, Bered, his son, Tahath his son, Eladah, his son, Tahath, his son,

21 Z abad, Sutelaj, Ezer y Elad. Pero la gente de Gat que vivía en aquella tierra mató a estos dos, porque vinieron a robarles sus ganados.

Zabad, his son, Shuthelah, his son, Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew because they came down to take away their livestock.

22 L os efraimitas guardaron luto por ellos durante mucho tiempo, y sus parientes vinieron a consolarlos.

And Ephraim, their father, mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

23 D espués él se allegó a su mujer, y ella concibió y dio a luz un hijo, al que puso por nombre Beria, porque en su familia había habido mucha aflicción.

And when he went in to his wife, she conceived and gave birth to a son, and he called his name Beriah, because he had been in affliction in his house.

24 S u hija fue Será, la cual edificó las ciudades de Bet Jorón la de abajo, Bet Jorón la de arriba, y Uzén Será.

(And his daughter was Sherah, who built Bethhoron, the lower and the upper, and Uzzensherah.)

25 L os descendientes de este Beria fueron Refaj, Resef, Telaj, Taján,

And Rephah was his son, also Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan, his son,

26 L aadán, Amiud, Elisama,

27 N un y Josué.

28 S u patrimonio familiar y lugar de residencia fueron Betel y sus aldeas, Narán al oriente, Guézer y sus aldeas en el occidente, Siquén y Gaza con sus aldeas;

And their inheritance and habitation was Bethel with its towns, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer with its towns; likewise Shechem and its towns unto Gaza and its towns,

29 j unto al territorio de los hijos de Manasés, Bet Seán, Tanac, Meguido y Dor, todas ellas con sus aldeas. En estos lugares habitaron los hijos de José hijo de Israel. Los descendientes de Aser

and by the side of the sons of Manasseh, Bethshean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the sons of Joseph, the son of Israel.

30 L os hijos de Aser fueron Imna, Isúa, Isúi, Beria, y su hermana Sera.

The sons of Asher: Imnah, Isuah, Ishuai, Beriah, and Serah, their sister.

31 L os hijos de Beria fueron Jéber y Malquiel, que fue el padre de Birzavit.

And the sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzavith.

32 J éber fue el padre de Jaflet, Somer y Jotán. Súa fue hermana de ellos.

And Heber begat Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham, and Shua their sister.

33 L os hijos de Jaflet fueron Pasac, Bimal y Asvat. Éstos fueron los hijos de Jaflet.

40 T odos estos fueron descendientes de Aser y cabezas de familias paternas, jefes de príncipes escogidos y esforzados, los cuales fueron contados por sus linajes entre los que podían tomar las armas. Su número ascendía a veintiséis mil hombres.

All these were sons of Asher, heads of their father’s houses, chosen, mighty men of valour, heads of princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of those that were apt for war and for battle was twenty-six thousand men.
