¶ The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.

2 L os hijos de Tola: Uzi, Refaías, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam y Semuel, cabezas en las familias de sus padres. De Tola fueron contados por sus linajes en el tiempo de David, veintidós mil seiscientos varones valientes de gran valor.

The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of the houses of their fathers. Those of Tola numbered by their families twenty-two thousand valiant men of might in the days of David.

3 H ijo de Uzi fue Izrahías; y los hijos de Izrahías: Micael, Obadías, Joel, e Isías: por todos, cinco príncipes.

The son of Uzzi was Izrahiah; and the sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel, Ishiah, all of them, five princes.

4 Y había con ellos en sus linajes, por las casas de sus padres, treinta y seis mil hombres de guerra; porque tuvieron muchas mujeres e hijos.

And with them, by their lineages, after the houses of their fathers, were bands of soldiers for war, thirty-six thousand men, for they had many wives and sons.

5 Y sus hermanos por todas las familias de Isacar, contados todos por sus genealogías, eran ochenta y siete mil hombres valientes de gran valor.

And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies eighty-seven thousand.

6 L os hijos de Benjamín fueron tres: Bela, Bequer, y Jediael.

The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, and Jediael, three.

7 L os hijos de Bela: Ezbón, Uzi, Uziel, Jerimot, e Iri; cinco cabezas de casas de sus padres, hombres valientes de gran valor, y de cuyo linaje fueron contados veintidós mil treinta y cuatro.

The sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri, five, heads of the houses of their fathers, mighty men of valour; and were reckoned by their genealogies twenty-two thousand and thirty-four.

8 L os hijos de Bequer: Zemira, Joás, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jerimot, Abías, Anatot y Alamet; todos éstos fueron hijos de Bequer.

The sons of Becher: Zemira, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jerimoth, Abiah, Anathoth, and Alameth. All these are the sons of Becher.

9 Y contados por sus genealogías, por sus linajes, los que eran cabezas de sus familias, resultaron veinte mil doscientos hombres valientes de gran valor.

And the number of them, after their genealogy by their generations, heads of the houses of their fathers, mighty men of valour, was twenty thousand two hundred.

10 H ijo de Jediael fue Bilhán; y los hijos de Bilhán: Jeús, Benjamín, Aod, Quenaana, Zetán, Tarsis, y Ahisahar.

The son of Jediael was Bilhan; and the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.

11 T odos éstos fueron hijos de Jediael, cabezas de sus padres, varones valientes de gran valor, diecisiete mil doscientos que salían a combatir en la guerra.

All these were sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, seventeen thousand two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.

12 Y Supim y Hupim fueron hijos de Hir; y Husim, hijo de Aher.

And Shuppim and Huppim were sons of Ir; and Hushim, the son of Aher.

13 L os hijos de Neftalí: Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer, y Salum, hijos de Bilha.

The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

14 L os hijos de Manasés: Asriel, el cual le dio a luz su concubina la siria, la cual también le dio a luz a Maquir, padre de Galaad.

The sons of Manasseh: Ashriel, whom his concubine, the Aramitess, gave birth unto him; she also gave birth to Machir, the father of Gilead.

15 Y Maquir tomó mujeres de Hupim y Supim, el cual tuvo una hermana llamada Maaca. Y el nombre del segundo fue Zelofehad. Y Zelofehad tuvo hijas.

And Machir took wives of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister’s name was Maachah, and the name of the second was Zelophehad. And Zelophehad had daughters.

16 Y Maaca mujer de Maquir le dio a luz un hijo, y le llamó Peres; y el nombre de su hermano fue Seres, cuyos hijos fueron Ulam y Requem.

And Maachah, the wife of Machir, gave birth to a son unto him, and she called his name Peresh, and the name of his brother was Sheresh, whose sons were Ulam and Rakem.

17 H ijo de Ulam fue Bedán. Estos fueron los hijos de Galaad, hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés.

The son of Ulam was Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

18 Y su hermana Hamolequet dio a luz a Isod, a Abiezer, y Mahala.

And his sister Hammoleketh gave birth to Ishod, Abiezer, and Mahalah.

19 Y los hijos de Semida fueron Ahián, Siquem, Likhi, y Aniam.

And the sons of Shemida were, Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.

20 L os hijos de Efraín: Sutela, Bered su hijo, Tahat su hijo, Elada su hijo, Tahat su hijo,

¶ The sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, Bered, his son, Tahath his son, Eladah, his son, Tahath, his son,

21 Z abad su hijo, Sutela su hijo, Ezer, y Elad. Mas los hijos de Gat, naturales de aquella tierra, los mataron, porque vinieron a tomarles sus ganados.

Zabad, his son, Shuthelah, his son, Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew because they came down to take away their livestock.

22 Y Efraín su padre hizo duelo por muchos días, y vinieron sus hermanos a consolarle.

And Ephraim, their father, mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

23 E ntrando él después a su mujer ella concibió, y dio a luz un hijo, al cual puso por nombre Bería; por cuanto había estado en aflicción en su casa.

And when he went in to his wife, she conceived and gave birth to a son, and he called his name Beriah, because he had been in affliction in his house.

24 Y su hija fue Seera, la cual edificó a Bet-horón la baja y la alta, y a Uzen-seera.

(And his daughter was Sherah, who built Bethhoron, the lower and the upper, and Uzzensherah.)

25 H ijo de este Bería fue Refa, Resef, Telah su hijo, y Tahán su hijo,

And Rephah was his son, also Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan, his son,

26 L aadán su hijo, Amiud su hijo, Elisama su hijo,

Laadan, his son, Ammihud, his son, Elishama, his son,

27 N un su hijo, y Josué su hijo.

Nun, his son, Joshua, his son.

28 Y la heredad y habitación de ellos fue Bet-el con sus aldeas; y hacia el oriente Naarán, y a la parte del occidente Gezer y sus aldeas; asimismo Siquem con sus aldeas, hasta Gaza y sus aldeas;

And their inheritance and habitation was Bethel with its towns, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer with its towns; likewise Shechem and its towns unto Gaza and its towns,

29 y a la parte de los hijos de Manasés, Bet-seán con sus aldeas, Taanac con sus aldeas, Meguido con sus aldeas, y Dor con sus aldeas. En estos lugares habitaron los hijos de José, hijo de Israel.

and by the side of the sons of Manasseh, Bethshean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the sons of Joseph, the son of Israel.

30 L os hijos de Aser: Imna, Isúa, Isúi, Bería, y su hermana Sera.

The sons of Asher: Imnah, Isuah, Ishuai, Beriah, and Serah, their sister.

31 L os hijos de Bería: Heber, y Malquiel, el cual fue padre de Birzavit.

And the sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzavith.

32 Y Heber engendró a Jaflet, Somer, Hotam, y Súa hermana de ellos.

And Heber begat Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham, and Shua their sister.

33 L os hijos de Jaflet: Pasac, Bimhal, y Asvat. Estos fueron los hijos de Jaflet.

The sons of Japhlet: Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath. These were the sons of Japhlet.

34 L os hijos de Semer: Ahí, Rohga, Jehúba, y Aram.

And the sons of Shamer: Ahi, Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.

35 L os hijos de Helem su hermano: Zofa, Imna, Selles, y Amal.

The sons of his brother Helem: Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.

36 L os hijos de Zofa: Súa, Harnefer, Súal, Beri, Imra,

The sons of Zophah: Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,

37 B eser, Hod, Sama, Silsa, Itrán y Beera.

Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran, and Beera.

38 L os hijos de Jeter: Jefone, Pispa, y Ara.

The sons of Jether: Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.

39 Y los hijos de Ula; Ara, Haniel, y Rezia.

And the sons of Ulla: Arah, Haniel, and Rezia.

40 Y todos éstos fueron hijos de Aser, cabezas de casas paternas, escogidos, poderosos, cabezas de príncipes; y cuando fueron contados por sus linajes entre los hombres de guerra, el número de ellos fue veintiséis mil hombres.

All these were sons of Asher, heads of their father’s houses, chosen, mighty men of valour, heads of princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of those that were apt for war and for battle was twenty-six thousand men.
