1 ¶ Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, y a Aarón en la tierra de Egipto, diciendo:

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

2 E ste mes os será cabeza de los meses; éste os será primero en los meses del año.

This month shall be unto you the beginning of the months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.

3 H ablad a toda la congregación de Israel, diciendo: En el día diez de este mes tómese cada uno un cordero por las familias de los padres, un cordero por familia;

Speak unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month let each man take a lamb according to the families of the fathers, a lamb per family;

4 m as si la familia fuere pequeña que no alcance a comer el cordero, entonces tomará a su vecino cercano de su casa, y según el número de las personas, cada uno conforme a su comer, echaréis la cuenta sobre el cordero.

and if the household is too small and is not able to eat the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of persons; each one according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

5 E l cordero será sin defecto, macho de un año; lo tomaréis de las ovejas o de las cabras;

The lamb shall be without blemish, a male of one year; ye shall take it out from the sheep or from the goats;

6 y habéis de guardarlo hasta el día catorce de este mes; y lo inmolará toda la asamblea de la congregación del pueblo de Israel entre las dos tardes.

and ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month, and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it between the two evenings.

7 Y tomarán de la sangre, y pondrán en los dos postes y en el dintel de las casas en que lo han de comer.

And they shall take of the blood and put it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses in which they shall eat it.

8 Y aquella noche comerán la carne asada al fuego, y panes sin levadura; con hierbas amargas lo comerán.

And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

9 N inguna cosa comeréis de él cruda, ni cocida en agua, sino asada al fuego; su cabeza con sus pies y sus intestinos.

Eat none of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire, his head with his legs, and with the entrails thereof.

10 N inguna cosa dejaréis de él hasta la mañana; y lo que quedare hasta la mañana, habéis de quemarlo en el fuego.

And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remains of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.

11 Y así habéis de comerlo: ceñidos vuestros lomos, vuestros zapatos en vuestros pies, y vuestro bordón en vuestra mano; y lo comeréis apresuradamente: ésta es la Pascua del SEÑOR.

And thus shall ye eat it: with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’s passover.

12 P ues yo pasaré aquella noche por la tierra de Egipto, y heriré a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, así en los hombres como en las bestias; y haré juicios en todos los dioses de Egipto. Yo soy el SEÑOR.

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both among man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the LORD.

13 Y esta sangre os será por señal en las casas donde vosotros estéis; y cuando yo viere aquella sangre, pasaré por vosotros, y no habrá en vosotros plaga de mortandad, cuando hiera la tierra de Egipto.

And this blood shall be to you for a sign upon the houses where ye are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

14 Y este día os ha de ser en memoria, y habéis de celebrarlo como fiesta al SEÑOR por vuestras generaciones; por estatuto perpetuo lo celebraréis.

And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it as a feast unto the LORD throughout your ages; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.

15 S iete días comeréis panes sin levadura; y así el primer día haréis que no haya levadura en vuestras casas; porque cualquiera que comiere leudado desde el primer día hasta el séptimo, aquella alma será cortada de Israel.

Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses, for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

16 E l primer día os será santa convocación, y asimismo el séptimo día os será santa convocación; ninguna obra se hará en ellos, solamente lo que toda persona hubiere de comer, esto solamente se aderece para vosotros.

And in the first day there shall be a holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, except that which every person must eat, that only may be done of you.

17 Y guardaréis la fiesta de los ázimos, porque en aquel mismo día saqué vuestros ejércitos de la tierra de Egipto; por tanto guardaréis este día por vuestras edades por ordenanza perpetua.

And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread, for in this same day have I brought your hosts out of the land of Egypt; therefore, shall ye observe this day for your ages by an ordinance forever.

18 E n el mes primero, el día catorce del mes por la tarde, comeréis los panes sin levadura, hasta el veintiuno del mes por la tarde.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, ye shall eat unleavened bread until the twenty-first day of the month in the evening.

19 P or siete días no se hallará levadura en vuestras casas, porque cualquiera que comiere leudado, así extranjero como natural de la tierra, aquella alma será cortada de la congregación de Israel.

For seven days there shall be no leaven found in your houses; for whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a stranger or born in the land.

20 N inguna cosa leudada comeréis; en todas vuestras habitaciones comeréis panes sin levadura.

Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations ye shall eat unleavened bread.

21 ¶ Y Moisés convocó a todos los ancianos de Israel, y les dijo: Sacad, y tomaos corderos por vuestras familias, y sacrificad la pascua.

¶ Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said unto them, Draw out and take lambs according to your families and sacrifice the passover.

22 Y tomad un manojo de hisopo, y mojadlo en la sangre que estará en un lebrillo, y untad el dintel y los dos postes con la sangre que estará en el lebrillo; y ninguno de vosotros salga de las puertas de su casa hasta la mañana.

And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood that is in the basin and touch the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.

23 P orque el SEÑOR pasará hiriendo a los egipcios; y cuando vea la sangre en el dintel y en los dos postes, pasará el SEÑOR aquella puerta, y no dejará entrar al heridor en vuestras casas para herir.

For the LORD will pass through smiting the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood upon the lintel and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over that door and will not allow the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

24 Y guardaréis esto por estatuto para vosotros y para vuestros hijos para siempre.

And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons forever.

25 Y será, cuando habréis entrado en la tierra que el SEÑOR os dará, como os lo ha prometido, guardaréis este servicio.

And it shall come to pass, when ye have entered into the land which the LORD will give you, according as he has promised, that ye shall keep this service.

26 Y cuando os dijeren vuestros hijos: ¿Qué es este vuestro servicio?

And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What do you mean by this service?

27 V osotros responderéis: Esta es la víctima de la Pascua del SEÑOR, el cual pasó las casas de los hijos de Israel en Egipto, cuando hirió a los egipcios, y libró nuestras casas. Entonces el pueblo se inclinó y adoró.

That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’s passover, who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians and delivered our houses. Then the people bowed and worshipped.

28 Y los hijos de Israel se fueron, e hicieron como el SEÑOR había mandado a Moisés y a Aarón, así lo hicieron.

And the sons of Israel went away, and as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

29 ¶ Y aconteció que a la medianoche el SEÑOR hirió a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, desde el primogénito del Faraón que estaba sentado sobre su trono, hasta el primogénito del cautivo que estaba en la cárcel, y todo primogénito de los animales.

¶ And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the animals.

30 Y se levantó aquella noche el Faraón, él y todos sus siervos, y todos los egipcios; y había un gran clamor en Egipto, porque no había casa donde no hubiera muerto.

And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his slaves and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

31 E hizo llamar a Moisés y a Aarón de noche, y les dijo: Salid de en medio de mi pueblo vosotros, y los hijos de Israel; e id, servid al SEÑOR, como habéis dicho.

And he called for Moses and Aaron by night and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the sons of Israel, and go, serve the LORD as ye have said.

32 T omad también vuestras ovejas y vuestras vacas, como habéis dicho, e idos; y bendecidme también a mí.

Also take your sheep and your cows, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.

33 Y los egipcios apremiaban al pueblo, dándose prisa a echarlos de la tierra; porque decían: Todos somos muertos.

And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people that they might send them out of the land in haste, for they said, We are all dead men.

34 Y llevó el pueblo su masa antes que se leudara, sus masas atadas, en sus vestidos sobre sus hombros.

And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.

35 E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme al mandamiento de Moisés, demandando a los egipcios vasos de plata, y vasos de oro, y vestidos.

And the sons of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked the Egyptians for vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and clothing.

36 Y el SEÑOR dio gracia al pueblo delante de los egipcios, y les dieron; y ellos despojaron a los egipcios.

And the LORD gave the people grace in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

37 ¶ Y partieron los hijos de Israel de Ramesés a Sucot, como seiscientos mil hombres de a pie, sin contar los niños.

¶ And the sons of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, not counting the children.

38 Y también subió con ellos grande multitud de diversa suerte; y muchísimas ovejas y vacas.

And a mixed multitude went up also with them and many sheep and cows.

39 Y cocieron la masa, que habían sacado de Egipto, e hicieron tortas sin levadura, porque no había leudado, porque al echarlos fuera los egipcios, no habían podido detenerse, ni aun prepararse comida.

And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened because they were thrust out of Egypt and could not tarry nor prepare food for themselves.

40 E l tiempo que los hijos de Israel habitaron en Egipto, fue cuatrocientos treinta años.

Now the time that the sons of Israel dwelt in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.

41 Y pasados los cuatrocientos treinta años, en el mismo día salieron todos los ejércitos del SEÑOR de la tierra de Egipto.

And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even that same day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

42 E sta es noche de guardar al SEÑOR, por haberlos sacado en ella de la tierra de Egipto. Esta noche deben guardar al SEÑOR todos los hijos de Israel por sus edades.

It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this night should be observed unto the LORD by all the sons of Israel in their ages.

43 ¶ Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés y a Aarón: Esta será la ordenanza de la Pascua: Ningún extraño comerá de ella;

¶ And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This shall be the ordinance of the passover: No stranger shall eat of it,

44 m as todo siervo humano comprado por dinero, comerá de ella después que lo hubieres circuncidado.

but every man’s slave that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat of it.

45 E l extranjero y el asalariado no comerán de ella.

The foreigner and the hired servant shall not eat of it.

46 E n una casa se comerá, y no llevarás de aquella carne fuera de casa, ni quebraréis hueso en él.

It shall be eaten in one house; thou shalt not carry forth any of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

47 T oda la congregación de Israel hará este sacrificio.

All the congregation of Israel shall make this sacrifice.

48 M as si algún extranjero peregrinare contigo, y quisiere hacer la pascua al SEÑOR, séale circuncidado todo varón, y entonces se llegará a hacer este sacrificio, y será como el natural de la tierra; pero ningún incircunciso comerá de ella.

And if a stranger shall sojourn with thee and desire to make the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and make this sacrifice; and he shall be as one that is natural in the land, but no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.

49 L a misma ley será para el natural y para el extranjero que peregrinare entre vosotros.

The same law shall be for the one who is natural, and for the stranger that sojourns among you.

50 Y todos los hijos de Israel hicieron como mandó el SEÑOR a Moisés y a Aarón, así lo hicieron.

Thus did all the sons of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

51 Y en aquel mismo día el SEÑOR sacó los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto por sus ejércitos.

And it came to pass that same day that the LORD did bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.
