1 ¶ Y acerca de las cosas espirituales, no quiero, hermanos, que las ignoréis.

¶ Now regarding spiritual things, brothers, I would not have you ignore them.

2 S abéis que cuando erais gentiles, ibais, como erais llevados, a los ídolos mudos.

Ye know that when ye were Gentiles, ye went, even as ye were led, unto the dumb idols.

3 P or tanto os hago saber, que nadie que hable por el Espíritu de Dios, llama anatema a Jesús; y nadie puede llamar a Jesús Señor, sino por el Espíritu Santo.

Therefore I give you to understand, that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus anathema and that no one can call Jesus Lord but by the Holy Spirit.

4 P ero hay repartimiento de dones; mas el mismo Espíritu es.

Now there is dispersal of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5 Y hay repartimiento de ministerios; mas el mismo Señor es.

And there is dispersal of ministries, but the same Lord.

6 Y hay repartimiento de operaciones; mas el mismo Dios es, quien obra todas las cosas en todos.

And there is dispersal of operations, but it is the same God who works all in each one.

7 P ero a cada uno le es dada la manifestación del Espíritu para provecho.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one to profit with.

8 P orque a la verdad, a éste es dada por el Espíritu palabra de sabiduría; a otro, palabra de ciencia según el mismo Espíritu;

For to one is given by the Spirit a word of wisdom; to another, a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit;

9 a otro, fe por el mismo Espíritu, y a otro, dones de sanidades por el mismo Espíritu;

to another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10 a otro, operaciones de milagros, y a otro, profecía; y a otro, discernimiento de espíritus; y a otro, géneros de lenguas; y a otro, interpretación de lenguas.

to another, the operation of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discerning of spirits; to another, different kinds of tongues; to another, the interpretation of tongues:

11 M as todas estas cosas opera uno y el mismo Espíritu, repartiendo particularmente a cada uno como quiere.

one and the same Spirit operates all these things, dispersing to each one his own gift as he wills.

12 ¶ Porque de la manera que es un cuerpo, y tiene muchos miembros, empero todos los miembros de este cuerpo, siendo muchos, son un cuerpo, así también el Cristo.

¶ For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also the Christ.

13 P orque por un Espíritu somos todos bautizados en un cuerpo, judíos o griegos, siervos o libres; y todos bebemos (de una bebida) de un mismo Espíritu.

For by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body, whether we are Jews or Greeks, whether we are slaves or free, and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

14 P orque el cuerpo no es un miembro, sino muchos.

For the body is not one member, but many.

15 S i dijere el pie: Porque no soy mano, no soy del cuerpo, ¿por eso no será del cuerpo?

If the foot shall say, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?

16 Y si dijere la oreja: Porque no soy ojo, no soy del cuerpo, ¿por eso no será del cuerpo?

And if the ear shall say, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?

17 S i todo el cuerpo fuera ojo, ¿dónde estaría el oído? Si todo fuera oído, ¿dónde estaría el olfato?

If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?

18 M as ahora Dios ha colocado los miembros cada uno de ellos por sí en el cuerpo, como quiso.

But now God has set the members each one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.

19 Q ue si todos fueran un miembro, ¿dónde estuviera el cuerpo?

And if they were all one member, where would the body be?

20 M as ahora muchos miembros son a la verdad, empero un cuerpo.

But now they are indeed many members, yet but one body.

21 N i el ojo puede decir a la mano: No te necesito; ni asimismo la cabeza a los pies: No tengo necesidad de vosotros.

And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee; nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

22 A ntes, los miembros del cuerpo que parecen más flacos, son mucho más necesarios;

For those members of the body, which seem to be weaker, are much more necessary;

23 y los miembros del cuerpo que estimamos ser más viles, a éstos vestimos más honrosamente; y los que en nosotros son indecentes, tienen más honestidad.

and those members of the body which we think to be more vile, these we dress with more abundant honour; and those in us who are more indecent have more honesty.

24 P orque los que en nosotros son más honestos, no tienen necesidad de nada; mas Dios ordenó el cuerpo (todo), dando más abundante honor al que le faltaba;

For those in us who are more honest need nothing, but God has ordered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that one which lacked,

25 p ara que no haya desavenencia en el cuerpo, sino que los miembros todos se interesen los unos por los otros.

that there should be no contradiction in the body, but that the members should have the same care one for another.

26 D e tal manera que si un miembro padece, todos los miembros a una se duelan; y si un miembro es honrado, todos los miembros a una se gozan.

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer together; or if one member is honoured, all the members rejoice together.

27 ¶ Y vosotros sois el cuerpo de Cristo, y miembros cada uno en particular.

¶ Now ye are the body of Christ and members in particular.

28 Y a unos puso Dios en la Iglesia, primeramente apóstoles, luego profetas, lo tercero maestros; luego facultades; luego dones de sanidades; ayudas, gobernaciones, géneros de lenguas.

And God did set certain ones in the congregation: first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that faculties, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

29 ¿ Son todos apóstoles? ¿Son todos profetas? ¿Todos maestros? ¿Todos facultades?

Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? do all have faculties?

30 ¿ Tienen todos dones de sanidad? ¿Hablan todos lenguas? ¿Interpretan todos?

Do all have gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

31 P rocurad pues, los mejores dones; mas aun yo os enseño el camino más excelente.

But earnestly pursue the best gifts, and yet I show unto you a more excellent way.
