1 M isericordia y juicio cantaré; a ti, SEÑOR, diré salmos.

¶ I will sing of mercy and judgment; unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

2 E ntenderé en el camino de la perfección cuando vinieres a mí; en perfección de mi corazón andaré en medio de mi casa.

When thou shalt come unto me, I will walk in the way of perfection and understand. I will walk in the midst of my house in the perfection of my heart.

3 N o pondré cosa de Belial delante de mis ojos; hacer traiciones aborrecí; no se allegarán a mí.

I will set nothing of Belial before my eyes: I hate the work of those that betray; it shall not cleave to me.

4 C orazón perverso se apartará de mí; no conoceré al malvado.

A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know a wicked person.

5 A l detractor de su prójimo a escondidas, a éste cortaré; al altivo de ojos, y de corazón vanidoso, a éste no puedo sufrir.

Whosoever secretly slanders his neighbour, I will cut off; he that has a high look and a proud heart I will not suffer.

6 M is ojos pondré en los fieles de la tierra, para que asienten conmigo; el que anduviere en el camino de la perfección, éste me servirá.

My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walks in the way of perfection, he shall serve me.

7 N o habitará en medio de mi casa el que hace engaño; el que habla mentiras no se afirmará delante de mis ojos.

He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight.

8 T emprano cortaré a todos los impíos de la tierra; para talar de la ciudad del SEÑOR a todos los que obraren iniquidad.

I will early destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.
