1 ¶ Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Entra al Faraón, y dile: El SEÑOR Dios de los hebreos, dice así: Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me sirvan;

¶ Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go that they may serve me.

2 p orque si no lo quieres dejar ir, y los detuvieres aún,

For if thou refuse to let them go and wilt hold them still,

3 h e aquí la mano del SEÑOR será sobre tus ganados que están en el campo: caballos, asnos, camellos, vacas y ovejas, con pestilencia gravísima.

behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy livestock which are in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the cows, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous pestilence.

4 Y el SEÑOR hará separación entre los ganados de Israel y los de Egipto, de modo que nada muera de todo lo de los hijos de Israel.

And the LORD shall separate between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt so that nothing shall die of all that is of the sons of Israel.

5 Y el SEÑOR señaló tiempo, diciendo: Mañana hará el SEÑOR esta cosa en la tierra.

And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.

6 Y al día siguiente el SEÑOR hizo aquello, y murió de todo el ganado de Egipto; mas del ganado de los hijos de Israel no murió ni uno.

And the next day the LORD did that thing, and of all the livestock of Egypt many died, but of the livestock of the sons of Israel not one died.

7 E ntonces el Faraón envió a ver, y he aquí que del ganado de los hijos de Israel no había muerto ni uno. Mas el corazón del Faraón se agravó, y no dejó ir al pueblo.

Then Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the livestock of the sons of Israel dead. But the heart of Pharaoh hardened, and he did not let the people go.

8 ¶ Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés y a Aarón: Tomad vuestros puños llenos del hollín de un horno, y espárzala Moisés hacia el cielo delante del Faraón.

¶ And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Let each of you take handfuls of soot from the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.

9 Y vendrá a ser polvo sobre toda la tierra de Egipto, el cual originará sarna que eche vejigas apostemadas en los hombres y en las bestias, por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And it shall become dust upon all the land of Egypt, which shall cause boils breaking forth with blisters upon man and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.

10 Y tomaron del hollín del horno, y se pusieron delante de Faraón, y la esparció Moisés hacia el cielo; y vino una sarna que echaba vejigas, así en los hombres como en las bestias.

And they took the soot of the furnace and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and boils breaking forth with blisters came upon man and upon beast

11 H asta que los magos no podían estar delante de Moisés a causa de la sarna, porque hubo sarna en los magos y en todos los egipcios.

until the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils were upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.

12 Y el SEÑOR endureció el corazón del Faraón, y no los oyó, como el SEÑOR lo había dicho a Moisés.

And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did hearken unto them as the LORD had spoken unto Moses.

13 ¶ Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Levántate de mañana, y ponte delante del Faraón, y dile: El SEÑOR Dios de los hebreos, dice así: Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me sirva.

¶ Then the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go that they may serve me.

14 P orque de otra manera yo enviaré esta vez todas mis plagas a tu corazón, y en tus siervos, y en tu pueblo, para que entiendas que no hay otro como yo en toda la tierra.

For otherwise this time I will send all my plagues upon thine heart and upon thy slaves and upon thy people that thou may know that there is none like me in all the earth.

15 P orque ahora yo extenderé mi mano para herirte a ti y a tu pueblo de pestilencia, y serás quitado de la tierra.

For now I will stretch out my hand that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence, and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.

16 P orque a la verdad yo te he puesto para declarar en ti mi potencia, y que mi Nombre sea contado en toda la tierra.

For in truth I have placed thee to declare my power in thee, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

17 T ú aún te ensalzas contra mi pueblo para no dejarlos ir.

Thou even so dost exalt thyself against my people that thou wilt not let them go.

18 H e aquí que mañana a estas horas yo lluevo granizo muy grave, cual nunca fue en Egipto, desde el día que se fundó hasta ahora.

Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.

19 E nvía, pues, a recoger tu ganado, y todo lo que tienes en el campo; porque todo hombre o animal que se hallare en el campo, y no fuere recogido a casa, el granizo descenderá sobre él, y morirá.

Send therefore now and gather thy livestock and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.

20 D e los siervos del Faraón, el que temió la palabra del SEÑOR, hizo huir sus siervos y su ganado a casa;

He that feared the word of the LORD among the slaves of Pharaoh made his slaves and his livestock flee into the houses;

21 m as el que no puso en su corazón la palabra del SEÑOR, dejó sus siervos y sus ganados en el campo.

and he that did not regard the word of the LORD left his slaves and his livestock in the field.

22 ¶ Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Extiende tu mano hacia el cielo, para que venga granizo en toda la tierra de Egipto sobre los hombres, y sobre las bestias, y sobre toda la hierba del campo en la tierra de Egipto.

¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon the men and upon the beasts and upon all the grass of the field throughout the land of Egypt.

23 Y Moisés extendió su vara hacia el cielo, y el SEÑOR dio voces y granizó, y el fuego discurría por la tierra; e hizo llover el SEÑOR granizo sobre la tierra de Egipto.

And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven, and the LORD raised his voice and it hailed, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

24 Y hubo granizo, y fuego mezclado entre el granizo, tan grande, cual nunca hubo en toda la tierra de Egipto desde que fue habitada.

So there was hail and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became inhabited.

25 Y aquel granizo hirió en toda la tierra de Egipto todo lo que estaba en el campo, así hombres como bestias; asimismo hirió el granizo toda la hierba del campo, y quebró todos los árboles del campo.

And that hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both men and beasts; and the hail smote all the grass of the field and broke all the trees of the field.

26 S olamente en la tierra de Gosén, donde los hijos de Israel estaban, no hubo granizo.

Only in the land of Goshen, where the sons of Israel were, was there no hail.

27 E ntonces el Faraón envió a llamar a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dijo: He pecado esta vez; el SEÑOR es justo, y yo y mi pueblo impíos.

Then Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron and said unto them, I have sinned this time; the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

28 O rad al SEÑOR; y cesen los truenos de Dios y el granizo; y yo os dejaré ir, y no quedaréis más aquí.

Intreat the LORD that the thunderings of God and the hail might cease; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay here no longer.

29 Y le respondió Moisés: Saliendo yo de la ciudad extenderé mis manos al SEÑOR, y los truenos cesarán, y no habrá más granizo; para que sepas que del SEÑOR es la tierra.

And Moses replied unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will extend my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou may know how that the earth is the LORD’s.

30 M as yo te conozco a ti y a tus siervos de antes que temieseis de la presencia del SEÑOR Dios.

But I know thee and thy slaves from before ye began to fear the presence of the LORD God.

31 E l lino, pues, y la cebada fueron heridos; porque la cebada estaba ya espigada, y el lino en caña.

The flax, therefore, and the barley were smitten, for the barley was headed out, and the flax was in stalk.

32 M as el trigo y el centeno no fueron heridos; porque eran tardíos.

But the wheat and the rye were not smitten; for they were late.

33 Y salido Moisés de la presencia de Faraón y de la ciudad, extendió sus manos al SEÑOR, y cesaron los truenos y el granizo; y la lluvia no cayó más sobre la tierra.

And Moses went out from the presence of Pharaoh and out of the city and extended his hands unto the LORD; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.

34 Y viendo el Faraón que la lluvia había cesado y el granizo y los truenos, perseveró en pecar, y agravó su corazón, él y sus siervos.

And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he persevered in his sin and hardened his heart, he and his slaves.

35 Y el corazón del Faraón se endureció, y no dejó ir a los hijos de Israel; como el SEÑOR lo había dicho por medio de Moisés.

And the heart of Pharaoh hardened, and he did not let the sons of Israel go as the LORD had spoken by Moses.
