Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

3 D esde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone, sea alabado el Nombre del SEÑOR.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the LORD’s name is to be praised.

4 A lto sobre todos los gentiles es el SEÑOR; sobre los cielos es su gloria.

The LORD is high above all Gentiles and his glory above the heavens.

5 ¿ Quién como el SEÑOR nuestro Dios? El que enaltece su habitación;

Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwells on high,

6 q ue se abaje para ver en el cielo, y en la tierra;

who humbles himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth!

7 q ue levanta del polvo al pobre, y al menesteroso alza del estiércol;

He raises up the poor out of the dust and lifts the destitute out of the dunghill;

8 p ara hacerlo sentar con los príncipes, con los príncipes de su pueblo;

that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

9 q ue hace habitar en familia a la estéril, para que sea madre de hijos alegre. Alelu-JAH.
